Sometimes too much time is spent on the negatives. However, I would like to point out the reasons I use this practice for chiropractic care, physical therapy, and other medical services that have greatly improved my quality of life. From the time you enter, you are greeted by a warm and friendly staff, whose only mission is to understand your specific health concerns, and treat them in the most effective manner possible. I have been a patient of Dr. Allen for many, many years. He, along with the staff, listen to my concerns at each visit and adjust my treatments accordingly. My experience over the years has always been positive. I have the attitude that there is no &#8220;cure&#8221; for my aging body, but my quality of life is far beyond what I expected. Treatment is a two-way street. I have to do my part once I leave the practice, or my in-office treatments will not prove productive. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who wants professional treatment designed for your specific needs. Each and every person there has the patient&#8217;s best interest and health at heart. One unique way of expressing how I feel when I go in for treatment would be as a member of a supportive family. I am comfortable discussing my concerns, and my results have been beyond my expectations. Everyone can have a bad day, but I have to say that Dr. Allen has done an excellent job of putting together a staff that works cohesively. The office manager has a knowledge of insurance that rivals my own (and I used to work for an insurance company). Dr. Allen and Dr. \u00a0Jennings are both personable and professional. \u00a0The massage therapists (past and present) are excellent. \u00a0Physical therapy can be rough, but it always produces positive results if you make the effort and do your homework! However, the physical therapist is really nice and personable. The front desk representative, Jennifer is incompetent and needs more training, especially when you initially make your appointment. She needs to be trained on the difference between a patient coming in for pelvic floor pain and a patient receiving therapy for their spine. Lastly, the case manager, Sandy is unprofessional and rude. She walks around as if she&#8217;s doing work but in actuality she is usually flirting with the male patients or having an inappropriate conversation on the clock. She had me wait 15 minutes to discuss my care while she had a conversation non related to her job description. I would not recommend this facility. As a recent disabled vet in pain she understands and does everything she can to make me feel better. \u00a0I love this place I still have \u00a0more visits maybe I can get the VA to give me more. We have been coming here for almost 4 years for a bit of everything. The staff, therapists and owner have always been amazing. Providing us with information, strategies and just comfort. They always check on our son and he is filled with joy when he comes here. Truly the amount of time they put into him shows with his want to come to therapy. They facility is spotless and well organized. They also continue to put the kiddos first but enforcing safe health practices. They continue to provide services that meet the needs of concerned parents and will go the extra step to make sure the kiddos are progressing. We have nothing bad or even a complaint about this place. We recommend this to friends or just other families in need of services and are overwhelmed. I worked in various settings in occupational therapy. So I know what great therapy looks like. Anyway&#8230;..Something as simple as neck alignment exercise, improved my ROM(range of motion)in my shoulder 35 degrees literally within 10 minutes. My should was nearly frozen, and nearly instantly(few weeks only it was near new).Ashley Aguilar,DPT helped me and my family so much. This is my last week going to physical therapy. The top was extremely close to my face. I eventually had both knees replaced. I spent 22 years in the Army and my knees took a beating that you don&#8217;t often see outside of the military or professional sports. Add a good amount of arthritis and start looking for an orthopedic surgeon. I was referred to Dr. K. by my Primary Doctor, Dr. Gary Cole, of the People&#8217;s Clinic on Dover Road. Dr. K. is a former military doctor and I&#8217;m fairly confident that he has spent a little time handling combat injuries. He is pleasant. He listens carefully and gives the impression that he is evaluating what you say and compiling the information. There is usually a slight hint of a smile all the while. His comments are crisp and concise. \u00a0TOA has evidently leased a section of the Tennova Medical Center and dedicated it to exclusive use for joint replacement. Cleanliness is a serious priority. His nursing staff is personally hand-picked. They are some of the finest, most dedicated professionals I have ever encountered. Even though I acquired complications both times I had knee replacement surgery at Tennova, those issues where not as a result of surgery, or the care I received by his staff. I am very pleased with the knee replacement(s) Dr. K. performed in 2017. I understand that&#8217;s what therapy is for&#8230; to help them. But you HAVE to take the time to understand the child and get to know them. There was no reason to give up on my nephew after just 6 appointments! I feel like they didn&#8217;t even try.. absolutely ridiculous and disappointing.
