Desiree is AMAZING. She is knowledgeable and so strong! She has been incredible at improving my alignment and helping me understand why my muscles are doing what they are doing. Her 90 minute sessions are full of positive pressure and I feel like she actually is talking to my body, asking for trust and working through the soar spots. Her compassion and spirit is exactly what I need. I am so happy that I found Desiree

I’m sorry it took me this long to send reviews. We always look for great places like this when we travel. We enjoyed the Thai massage and the owner was very enjoyable to talk too. Worth the Uber ride we took!

I am beyond happy I went into Fast Track today to work with George! I’ve had a lot of pain with my lower back (SI) for the last 8-9 days. Yoga and chiropractic care have not been working in my recovery-Come to find out my right hip was rotated! We did a few resistance exercises to help get my hip in place. George took time to explain what was going on and how I could get back to normal! It’s hard to find a doctor/therapist who asks enough questions and is actually listening to what you are saying. I appreciate the time and care I received at Fast Track Physical Therapy!! If you need to get back to feeling like YOU, this is the place to be, thank you!!!!

This business’s familiarity and lack of transparency around insurance and billing created a terrible experience for me financially, and their practice in general lead to no relief for my back. They told me they wouldn’t know how much my coverage would provide and failed to provide with me something as simple as an estimate. I feel like a fish who thought they were getting dinner and became the dinner. Halfway through my treatment program, (3 visits) I owe them $450 and still have the exact same pain that I had on day 1 with no improvement. In response to comment: If what said in your comment was true. I would have been completely satisfied, George. Respectfully, I was not provided with even an estimate of the visit, and when speaking to someone on the phone to pay my bill, I asked again for an estimate of what the last 2 yet un-billed visits would cost. What you “saw” and what I heard are simply two different things.. and I think that we both know that you cannot hear with your eyes. I digress, I was told, “Unfortunately, we just don’t know.” I understand that my insurance has a deductible. With other physicians including my chiropractor, they will simply call my provider and get an accurate bill for me as an “estimate” that is made available to me before the treatment is even received to allow me to decide if I want to proceed with the treatment.I must also say that I should not be sorry for not requesting to speak with the owner of a company that has wronged as that most often times is simply not possible. Nor, would it yield any productive results. While your offer of free services are enticing, I think we all know that “no risk trials” aren’t as great as they appear to be at face value. Us little folk usually get stuck with the bill. If you truly weren’t going to charge your patients if they weren’t satisfied, I would have never seen a bill in the first place. As far as the progress, rather lack there of.. I cannot be held accountable for the advice that I was recommended nor the direction that I was given that did not provide the relief that we were both hoping for. Thank you for your response, though I felt it was inaccurate and a bit catty, I understand the personal drive to defend one’s business and employees. This review was not intended as an attack upon on you as individuals. This was merely some feedback for the business and a heed of caution for those who aren’t 100% familiar and know exactly what their insurance liability will be, as your office provided with no guidance or expectation on this front. I do definitely agree that as people. You are all super friendly, and I believe well intentioned. I wish you all the best, and happy holidays.

I was so impressed with the help I received here from Andrea. Not only did she help me recover quickly from a running injury, she taught me how to correct my running form to prevent injuries in the future. I’ve been to several physical therapists in the past for the same injury and she is the first to take the time to really help me. The icing on the cake is that the facility is nice and it’s easy to make appointments.

I had such a great experience at In Motion. I had a (somewhat minor) injury in my neck that was causing me a lot of pain and discomfort. I was a new client, and had been referred to by one of my relatives. I’m not usually the type to go to the doctor unless I have to, so I was hesitant at first. Im so so glad I came in! I was able to get an appointment pretty quickly, and the employees are great at communication and worked with my schedule. Once I got to the office, Rachael kindly and patiently worked with me to determine exactly where the pain was coming from, and explained to me the source(s) of the problem. For someone that walked in knowing NOTHING about neck/shoulder anatomy, this was super helpful and actually really interesting. We found the problem spot, and I was given stretches and exercises to practice routinely in order to reduce the pain in my neck. After just a couple days of following Rachael’s instructions, I was already feeling so much better. I returned for a couple of follow-ups, and after that, I was pretty much finished! The pain had subsided, and I had all the information I needed to continue if I had the same issue in the future. Now, two months later, I have 0 pain thanks to Rachael and her instructions. I have no regrets, and can’t recommend this office enough! Thank you In Motion, and especially Rachael!

I can’t recommend Tyler Hanson at In Motion enough! I am a competitive strength athlete and I came to him after I had ACL Surgery. I had been seeing another physical therapist who did not have the knowledge to return me to sport. I was so happy to find Tyler and within a few short months he had me back at my sport and prepared to compete. His knowledge and experience gave me the confidence to keep at it and my recovery went better than expected.

This physical therapy office is amazing. My recovery has been great with the help of the amazing Paisley and of course the friendly staff that help me through my exercises. Additionally, they help me know how to heal outside of this office, which is everything i need to sustain my foot in staying healthy. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Hands-down BEST Physical Therapists in SLC! Tyler and Christian make recovery a positive experience. I’ve been to several PT Institutes in the past for different issues, but nothing can compare to the assistance In Motion PT has given me in the healing process.

I recently saw Dr. Adam Schlitz a little over a month ago when an old injury in my back was causing me such pain I could hardly walk. After my first visit my pain was substantially decreased and my mobility increased. he provided me with great exercises and was very knowledgeable about my specific needs. My second visit I mentioned to him an old ankle injury and he was able to pinpoint exactly what was going on while providing explanations, exercises and other remedies to help get me back to my normal state! My attitude towards my injuries has shifted since seeing him as I finally see some light at the end of the tunnel in helping me feel “normal” again with regards to my back and ankle pain . I Would highly recommend seeing Adam as he is one of the best PT’s I’ve met so far in my 17 years here in the SLC valley.
Tyler D. rated 5 stars on 3/27/2023
With less than 2 months to go until my first ultra race, a lingering knee issue was preventing me from logging nearly any training miles. During my first visit to Adam, he put me through a series of evaluations to determine exactly what was causing the issue. His thorough analysis allowed us to identify the root cause instead of simply chasing symptoms. I say “allowed us” because Adam creates a wonderfully collaborative environment where he helps you understand what he is looking for and explains in detail how the various biomechanical systems work. Upon completing the prescribed stretches and exercises, my knee pain started to diminish. During my follow up visit, Adam analyzed my running form and provided crucial insights on form adjustments. These adjustments, along with continue stretching and exercises, completely eliminated the issue. I just recently completed my ultra race and could not have done so without the support of Adam. If you are serious about training and meeting your goals and want to improve the way your body feels and moves, then look no further than Rogue Rehabilitation and Adam.
Megan U. rated 5 stars on 5/29/2022
Scheduling is easy and convenient, Adam is freaking fantastic, the price is more than reasonable. He helped me work with/around an injury to help meet a certification goal and even helped nudge me into a career goal that I’ve been working towards. All around, a great, enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend this rehab facility.
Ally A. rated 5 stars on 2/11/2020
The whole experience of going to Rogue rehab was wonderful. After checking in at the Front the staff helped guide me to the PT space. Adam was efficient and professional. Not only did I feel better after one visit but now I know exercises to help manage my hip pain. Without Adam I would still be in a world of hurt and unable to snowboard without pain. Thanks for getting me back on the slopes Adam!
Marissa M. rated 5 stars on 11/9/2019
I came to see Adam 5 weeks ago to help me recover from a chronic right ankle sprain and help me prepare for my 50k race. For me, I wanted to see someone who was knowledgeable and took the time to actually work with me instead of handing me off to aides. Adam was just that and absolutely work the cash based pay. I had one on one time each session and he would change my home exercises periodically to fit my actual impairments. I ran my race, took 2nd place, and not once felt my ankle or had close calls with rolling it again! I recommend Adam to everyone I know, I was that impressed!
Erika P. rated 5 stars on 10/14/2019
Adam is awesome! He’s super personable but also clearly knows his stuff. He does a great job actually explaining the problem and solution in a way that you can understand without oversimplifying things. 100% recommend
Gregory O. rated 5 stars on 3/18/2020
Zack has been super helpful with my ankle sprain recovery. I have always been the person to sprain something… a finger, an ankle, and just use the RICE method and get back out doing activities as soon as possible. I’m so thankful I finally went in to get PT when normally I would just WebMD and do the best I can. Zack is an excellent listener, was able to explain my injury mechanics and then was able to get me on a recovery program within the first visit. He is quick to adapt throughout the healing process and his massage and physical manipulation techniques seem to always be just the right amount of stretching. I’ve gained almost full mobility of my ankle after working with him for a month. The past several months before visiting him I was running, climbing, and skiing but never actually had a full recovery. With his guidance, stretch techniques, and agility exercises I am confident I will get back to normal. I feel lucky to have someone who has worked with so many talented athletes at Stanford and then the US climbing team to help me with my injury recovery.
Dawn F. rated 5 stars on 7/27/2019
My daughter, a physical therapist recommended Adam for my locked C5,6,7 vertebrae that has caused chronic pain around my left shoulder blade, trapezius and neck. As a flight attendant I haul around heavy bags all day and this exacerbated the problem. I could not turn my head without pain. She recommended Adam as he is trained to do physical manipulation, basically working the discs and all muscle related to the issue to get the discs “moving and sliding and gliding” as they should be doing. He is also trained in “dry needling” using a thin needle he taps into the knots that cause tightening and pain, I actually felt one “pop” not painful at all and the knot was gone! He also gave me exercises to do to facilitate movement. After only two visits I am noticing a change, the discs do not feel as locked up and the pain in my shoulder muscles is diminishing and I can turn my head further without pain! I’m very pleased and excited to continue and hope to no longer be dealing with this issue!

This was THE BEST experience for physical therapy on my knee. Jay Turcuato and his staff are all very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I went in unable to walk down the stairs among many other physical activities due to my injured knee and Jay helped me strengthen specific muscles and educated me on various things I didn’t realize I was doing to favor the knee. I am NOW running with better form, jumping and exercising without pain…and with a much stronger knee. I seriously haven’t been without some level of pain in my knee for years. Now I have NO pain. If you are in need of physical therapy and you want it to be as enjoyable as it possibly can be, THIS is your place and Jay is the man. It’s not easy but it’s worth it!!! THANKS to Jay, Boyd, Jonathan and everyone else…I rarely do reviews but there no way I couldn’t do one for them.

Kim has proven to be instrumental in getting my wrist working again. I jokingly call my visits “Physical torture” sessions as I have a severely fractured wrist. She listens as she stretches, twists, pulls and pushes my injured limb. Others come here for training in a sport: athletes work on dead lifts with coaches. I’ve noted some come often for “stretching” massages.Easy parking.

I would absolutely recommend Mountain Top to anyone looking for a hands on, engaged pt experience. After having my third child, I was in excruciating pain, Kathy was beyond knowledgeable, and her kind energy made me feel comfortable and like there was light at the end of the tunnel. I then started seeing Aimee, her assistant, who is completely engaged, also very knowledgeable and uses up to date treatments. Her great attitude made the sessions fly by. With her help, I was able to gain strength, and my pain is greatly reduced. Their front desk gals are also very helpful and personable, making the experience there, from beginning to end.

Not sure how Mountain Top continually gets such high reviews. My evaluation visit with Michelle was good as was a follow up visit with her. My treatment from Amy injured my wrist causing swelling and bruising. She denied responsibility and never apologized. Preston blamed it on her being from the East! His massage technique was ineffectual and rather old fashioned. One PTA forgot to ice my wrist after treatment. The bright star is McKayla. She is calm, thorough and talented. Thank you. The staff seems overbooked. They chatter to each other in the treatment area about various things having nothing to do with physical therapy. It is not a place that I can recommend.

I came to MT to get PT for a full knee replacement. David was great in not only getting my knee flexibility back but in giving me great exercises to work on at home. David is a not only compassionate about your pain but finds a way to make being there enjoyable! Ali and Paige were always pleasant. It was nice to go to a work place where the staff was warm and welcoming. Oh yes, they did such a great job(as did my surgeon, Phil Davidson and his awesome assistant Karen Gunter) that I was able to ski just 11 weeks after the surgery !! If you want to get better, do yourself a favor and go to Mountaintop PT !!

The service is perfect even after several days they still take care of you and follow up on you am not even done yet and am feeling so much better than how i walked in the first time, they build my confidence and give me hope i already feel like superman…Preston who is the owner is amazing and awesome so passionate about what he does you can’t even tell that he owns the place he takes time to work on me and listen to everything i say by paying attention then you Have Bill a great man so patient pay attention to the little details even when he is not working on me he still interested on knowing how i feel and follow up if i did my exercises at home.Amanda a great woman with a bright smile who makes sure that i feel good every time i leave she always challenge me so professional i really can’t wait to see until the end because am so blown and impressed with the service and obviously you have this two amazing ladies Shauna and Maureen with the most bright smile i ever got for a first time in a facility words cant express how i feel for all the employees really nice and great people i drove now from every morning from Salt Lake because it worth it…I highly recommend Because it the best Physical Therapy facility

Worked for me – I went to MountainTop after 4 days of debilitating lower back spasms following some extreme skiing compressions. PT DPT Michelle Smith identified my problem within 5 minutes, clearly explained the issue to me, and then “fixed” me with another 10min of manipulations. I walked out a new man. Two days later I rode 100+ (back 😉 pain-free miles in Moab at the Skinny Tire festival and I’m heading out to ski today. Highly recommend!

I came to Mountaintop with a spiral fractured ankle post-surgery and wearing an Air Boot. My surgeon advised 3 visits per wk/3 mos. Initially I was only able to handle half weight while walking on their underwater treadmill. Underwater treadmill, loved that! Then my routine moved into their gym once I was stronger. Today was my last session and I am walking and moving better than ever. The pain has gone and I am stronger and healthier. I can’t thank the staff at Mountaintop enough. They were literally with me every step of the way!

My third knee surgery and my third time in lenghthy physical therapy. Well, Preston and Stacy are the most knowledgeable PT’s I have ever encountered. Their staff is truly kind, caring and hard working. Everyone is super up on anything new in the world of PT. The level of care is above the norm. Their relationships with the top surgeons in the state speaks for itself. If you are in Park City and in need of ANY PT this is the place for you!!!!

Truly the best PT and motivational personalities EVER! Mahalo to Ryan, Kayci, Will, Missy, Anthony, Jordan, and everyone else there at MTPT. Fractured elbow – HEALED. Dislocated shoulder – almost full range of motion with no pain. Knee stress – lots of great exercises to improve flexibility. Wired fractured jaw & chin stitches – if they could, they would heal that too! I am so grateful and looking forward to my PT turning into work out sessions *;-)

I used a groupon to get reacquainted with pilates after years, and by FAR Erica is THE BEST instructor I’ve ever had. My first class was tough, and she explained it was going to be hard, but “it will be easier the next time.” Since I’ve done pilates in the past, I knew she was right. BTW Im waaay out of shape-it’s NOT EASY your first time! I came back after the first time with Erica, and my second class ROCKED! I feel like in 2-3 more classes I’ll be on my way to doing full core stuff again. I think Erica is unique, she offers something different, because she’s a totally cool person& shes confident in a relatable self depreciated way. She sucked once she’s been here, it’s hard, you’ll get it…blah blah.. all you just want to do is hang out with her and talk smack, but you’re doing pilates, so you just do that and you kill two birds! Try to get into her class-shes so funny, she’s seriously an expert on UFOS no sh**& -love her! I’ll be back! She is so great at guiding you through her visualization techniques that you’ll peacefully transcend to another world (maybe it’s her intention) but I never have experienced that before in any yoga/pilates/etc. She’s good at her craftP.s. kinda of bugs me that a person who left her – 1 , didn’t this give this studioanother chance. Or just take your review down for godsakes, I came in bare feettoday, but I realized quickly, the reasons why I should be wearing some socks to keep the equipment un-nasty !

If I could give zero stars I would! She started off seeming so kind and a positive light for my health problems and told me she could help! Almost immediately she seemed to have an attitude toward me? Also she was always on her iPhone during our classes ! I actually started having a hard time getting into the positions that she would always raddle off as if we were in an advanced class “WE WERE BEGINNERS”!!!! I ended up having a torn meniscus which was why I was having trouble, she was cold and extremely unfriendly so we stopped going and didn’t care that our package had one last session

My first Pilates class was great! I went to the beginner reformer class with Erika. Even when you are a beginner and still trying to learn, you will leave ready to schedule your next class. Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for a knowledgeable and welcoming Pilates instructor and class, then Erica Lukes and Total Body Pilates are right up your alley. She provides personalized attention and instruction so that you know you’re doing the moves correctly. The pace of the class is good – feels a bit cardio which is wonderful. Highly recommend and would consider a more advanced class in the future.

Very disappointing experience. You can tell the owner Erica isn’t happy when people who buy the Groupon come in. I had an awkward encounter where she texted me and asked me to use another piece of equipment that wasn’t the reformer because some of her “good” customers were on the waitlist. It was my second class, so I told her I’d prefer to stick with the reformer. After that she was very rude and cold to me. She also stressed to me that they “only make about $2 per class with the Groupon”, isn’t the point of Groupon trying to attract new customers? Classes aren’t beginner level friendly, wouldn’t recommend.
Nicole B. rated 1 stars on 3/28/2018
I had purchased a deal through Groupon for Erica’s classes and was kind of confused/website was giving me trouble on signing up for a specific class that I wanted to join with my coworkers. So I tried calling her and emailing her, but after two days no answer. So, I ended up getting my Groupon refunded. I just think that if you want to bring in a new member that maybe you should be a little more responsive.

Erica and the team are all incredible. This is the BEST Pilates studio that I have EVER been to and have been going here for over 3 years. Erica really knows how to help you build strength and tone, while being sensitive to former injuries. She can help you rehabilitate! Most of my previous Pilates experiences have been cold and hands-off- the instructors really didn’t know how to help me maximize my experience on the matt and reformers. Cathy was able to get me to make the right moves on my first visit and I could really FEEL the difference. Everyone should be doing Pilates at Total Body Pilates.

We have been going to Total Body Pilates for several years now. Erica is amazing with how she teaches and how much she knows about Pilates. We go a couple of times a week to her. We would recommend this studio to anyone.

I am new to pilates and I loved, loved, loved, my first session with Erica. The studio was beautiful and Erica gave great direction on how to use the equipment. I am looking forward to my next session, I would recommend this studio to anyone interested in pilates, beginner or advanced!

I love this studio! Instructors are great. People are friendly and I’ve never once been made to feel out of place. George knows everyone’s name and I immediately felt like part of the family. They have $5 barre and mat classes so you can try on the cheap and they will email you monthly specials which are fabulous!

The Good: I am a total fan and would-be a devotee of this studio. It is my 3rd Pilates studio in Salt Lake City and I love this one the best. The location is easy to get to from South SL or Downtown. Online class sign-up is amazing. The cancellation policy is reasonable but firm. Classes are small so you really get a private class with a couple other clients. Spray for the stations are non-toxic and mixed with doTERRA oil. The owner is very easy to reach. Teachers show up on time :)The Bad: In reality, they only have 3 Pilates classes for evening practitioners for THE WHOLE WEEK!The Ugly:My Monthly Unlimited was weakly attended since I can only make afternoon or evenings. And for the Weekends they may only have 1 pilate class total. (Which is why I gave 4 stars)Got Pilates?Keep reading because I really like this studio:Equipment: 3 of the stairs (of torture), 3 reformers, tons of the other stuff, circuit equipment, and Infrared Sauna. The current afternoon Pilate teachers Jenn, Hollie, and Rachel have very different techniques. I enjoy each one of them and it makes it very easy to rotate if you want to catch all their Pilates that week.Rachel is very knowledgeable about the traditional Pilates and I have successfully sent her clients that she did help with their rehabilitation. I highly recommend her. They have Ugi, Circuit training, and Yoga mixed into the calendar. My advice. Support this Studio – it is VERY NICE! Ask for more evening Pilates. Skip the Monthly unlimited and go for the 10 Punch Pass. You will find something you like.

I just love the infrared sauna here! Especially in the winter when it’s freezing outside! It warms you up from the inside. Melts away fat and toxins. Yes yes yessss

The Point Pilates is my absolute favorite workout community in the world! I have been taking care of my physical health with this crew for over a decade off an on, and I can’t believe the difference in my body during the “on” times compared to the “off” times! The coaching style is warm and friendly and accommodating to all levels of fitness. I love the variety in the workouts, it NEVER gets boring! There’s more than just pilates here, there’s circuit workouts, tabata workouts, hiit workouts, etc! Most of the exercise classes have a pilates foundation, so there is great coaching in regards to proper alignment, being aware of your core and how you’re using it, and long lean muscle growth! If you’re looking for a warm welcoming community to encourage you and support you on your fitness journey, you’ve come to the right place. The pricing structure is fair and there are often deals if you keep your eye out. In studio or in the virtual space, Hollie and the crew will be there for you! I can’t recommend The Point Pilates enough!
Heather T. rated 5 stars on 6/9/2017
As good as it gets! Who would think that exercise can be fun and effective? I didn’t until I started going to The Point Pilates. The owner, Hollie, is fantastic and inspiring as are the other instructors. The studio is beautiful and the vibe is welcoming and non-judgmental. Give it a try… you’ll be hooked!

Best Pilates studio in town! I always get a great work out no matter whose class I go to. I love the positive ladies and fun variety of classes
Brenda H. rated 5 stars on 8/1/2017
I LOVE this studio! They had a Groupon a while back, so I tried Pilates for the first time and fell in love with how it made me feel. It changed my body faster than any other workout I’ve tried. I feel incredibly strong when I’m taking classes regularly. Since then I’ve tried many other studios around town (more groupons 😉 but I keep coming back to The Point. The instructors all have different styles, so it keeps challenging you. The classes are a bit more fast paced than some other studios in town and I like that. They keep you moving and you will definitely be sore the morning after your first class. I don’t love exercising, I really need someone putting me through a routine. With Pilates you never do one exercise for too long, so even if you hate it, you know you’ll be switching to something else soon. It targets specific muscles. There are also modifications for just about every exercise depending on your level. I recommend Pilates to everyone, but as far as specific studios go, The Point is the one!

I’ve been going to Mountain Land for a few weeks now to rehab an ongoing Achilles running injury, and I have nothing but good things to say about their team of professionals. Having only myself to blame (and my stubborn aversion to medical providers) I probably (ok, definitely) waited too long to seek treatment, so when my primary care Doc referred me to physical therapy I was less than optimistic about my chances of returning to great health. But four weeks in now, I can honestly say that the exercise regimen and treatments that Mountain Land has me doing are having a positive impact. In fact, before too long I may even lace up some shoes and go for a run–warning, potential Yelp review for a local running store may be in my future. The Mountain Land staff is attentive and provides individualized, targeted, professional care, and as a group they are a pleasure to meet with. Anyway, if a stubborn old guy like me can do it, then you can too–so get yourself a referral to Mountain Land for whatever aches or pains have you down, and start feeling better!
