bought a really cute necklace from this place, such a silly little guy. everything there is really cool and there’s a lot to choose from if spiritual items, gems, incense, etc are your thing. i stopped by because i was going out with a few friends and it was really interesting. the people working there are very polite and hospitable!

Amazing variety of crystals and apothecary items! There’s a whole wall dedicated to raw and tumbled stones that are all affordable and included some I haven’t seen anywhere else! Staff is friendly as well(:

I absolutely LOVE this store! They have so much more than some local shops I’ve been to. They have everything from sage, incense, crystals (necklaces, earrings, bracelets, rings), charging bowls, candles, you name it! .. the list goes on. They offer readings as well. If you’re into anything spiritual, whether it be crystals or readings – allow yourself some time here. You won’t regret it.

This review is going to delve a little more personal than my typical posts, but it’s for an experience I’d like to share publicly. I grew up in a conservative household, so visiting a psychic was always considered dangerous and off limits. While this wasn’t my first visit to one, it was the most scarily accurate. So let’s go back in time a bit.One sunny Saturday morning in May, I was feeling desperately alone and in horrible pain. I was sitting in a hospital parking lot having just undergone yet another medical procedure to find out what was causing the issue. I didn’t have weekend plans and hated the idea of going home to an empty apartment. I searched psychics on Yelp and Aquarian popped up. I gave them a ring and asked if there was any immediate availability. I was able to schedule a reading with Kristin for half an hour later. She was in a reading when I arrived so I waited a few minutes. I scheduled 45 minutes for $60. Her title is Tarot Intuitive, Empath and Pendulum Reader, which aligned with my goals for the session. I’m giving you an idea of the timeline so it’s not questioned if she Googled me ahead of time to gain some idea about my life. Not to mention, she made comments during the session that she couldn’t have found online or otherwise known without special abilities.Among those:- I asked if I’d start to date someone any time soon. She replied by telling me I’d need my gallbladder removed and gave other specific insights into what I’d need to work on interally prior to opening myself up to someone else. The test I had that day was inconclusive, but two weeks later I had another test that diagnosed the problem, was referred to a surgeon, and my gallbladder was removed in mid-June. I’m no longer in daily pain and my quality of life is eons better now.- I told her how alone I felt due to not having a connected friend group anymore. I was isolated away from a few formerly close friends in another city. I still don’t know all the details as to why, but I was heartbroken for a long time as I thought they were friendships that would last forever. Kristin told me that with summer’s arrival, I’d open myself up to new connections. Nowadays, if I don’t have plans on the weekend, it’s because I chose to stay home. I’ve met so many incredibly lovely people in the Richmond area over the course of the last year, and several of those friendships deepened over the summer. I’m so grateful for where my social life is now, and I finally feel like Richmond is my home and I belong here.- I learned about numerology. Kristin told me the past year or so had been a #9 year for me, and I was moving into a #10, which means a new chapter in life. They flow every 7 years, which makes total sense. She also mentioned the return of Saturn between ages 27 1/2 and 30. I was about to turn 28 at the time, so that insight was also applicable. Having more of an idea of how outside forces and energy can impact my life was just really cool to hear.Kristin also knew I’d adopt a pet (my kitten is the best living being I know). She knew I’d switch jobs by the end of the year (mhm). She knew I’d start studying for something (yep yep). And she told me I needed to continue writing, because it grounds me (sounds about right). So far all but one prediction have come true, but I know why that one hasn’t yet, and it’s because I’m still busy working on myself. I’m not concerned about it anymore. I’m happy with where my life is now. And I really appreciate the reading I had in May.We all have our different opinions on psychics, but if you’re looking for an insightful session, I’d recommend this location wholeheartedly. I can’t speak for the rest of the store, as I only otherwise briefly browsed. As a final note, I’d suggest transcribing the reading, as it’s a helpful memory tool.

Jasmine D. rated 5 stars on 1/11/2020
I really loved this shop! It’s a lot different than the one crystal shop in the town I live it. It was super busy inside. They had people doing readings of all sorts, and just called a person’s name through the store when it was their turn. The crystal selection was awesome. There were so many!!! I think I bought seven, and that was me holding back. There was a variety of smudge bundles, sage, white sage, lavender, e.t.c. tons of books, large crystals, items for chakra work… anything your metaphysical heart could desire! The only thing that was negative, is that it was so busy the employees were all at the registers, so I couldn’t get any answers for my questions. I have a lot of questions about everything in life. I would definitely go back next time I’m in the Richmond area, which isn’t too often, but I know I’ll be there in May!

the people who work here are weird. my partner and I stopped in to look a the pendants and rings in the case. when we walked in 3 people at the counter just glared at us without saying anything. it felt unwelcoming and off. we went over to the case to look and someone walked over, disregarded us, and went to the little back room. another worker did the same thing so we just left. tbh I would avoid this place the energy is off.

Bought a Groupon for my spouse but called to see if I could schedule an appointment for me as well. The lady that answered was rude. ” I can’t look at the schedule because I’m on the phone with you… ” “You can’t come in with him anyway. We don’t do same time appointments…” Oh, sorry I didn’t know that. That’s why I called. I hate I bought a Groupon for this place. Never again. Rude!!!! No customer service!

I purchased a voucher after carefully reading the fine print. Leslie had not said anything about inviting new clients only, but that didn’t stop her from saying she would not honor the voucher unless I paid full price. After I got the voucher, I scheduled an appt. and it was confirmed. She cancelled the day before and I was instructed to reschedule. Nothing was open for another month, but I did reschedule. That was never confirmed, so I tried contacting her over 3 weeks with no response. Finally, on the 4th try, she responded to my text. After wasting all these weeks of my time, she informed me that I would have to pay full price since I had been there before. She refused to honor the voucher though it was her fault that she didn’t say ‘new clients only’ in the small print. I told her I would call Groupon ( to get my money back) and she went ballistic. She actually threatened to turn me in to Groupon and said that they can bar me from using them again. The honest thing to do would have been to honor the voucher, since the situation resulted from her error. She then went on a rant about how I was a difficult person and I was trying to bully her into taking the voucher and if I contacted her again it was harrassment. There are too many good massage therapists out there to put up with this dishonesty and craziness.

I’ve been coming to Leslie for 3 years. She’s an amazing, accommodating and extremely skilled massage therapist. She uses different modalities to work on my issues. She makes sure that I am safe with my allergies and continually checks on my personal health and wellbeing. She goes above and beyond for her clients. I highly recommend Leslie as a massage therapist.

Using a pseudonym on YELP is not unusual and using my real name would change nothing. Sorry, but needing help to schedule when your scheduling system wasn’t working for me, should not label me a ‘difficult client’. Groupon certainly didn’t agree that I was abusing the system because you didn’t say that the offer was only for new clients. I am not a psychic. Other businesses manage to be clear in their offers. you can, too.

Anthony was great! He got rid of my neck and shoulder pain. The next day I felt no pain anywhere in my back after suffering every day for weeks with back pain. He listened to what I requested and made certain I was happy with his techniques. I encourage you to try Anthony’s massage! Diane

About Love & Intimacy 101
When anyone chooses to utilize the word sex, they can expect to either get some pretty dirty looks or some really inviting looks but there’s an in-between. There are some who see beyond the word that has a physical stigma attached to it. That person would be me, your sexuality coach! So what is sexuality coaching exactly? By definition, coaching involves the guidance of an inexperienced entity by a more informed, experienced entity. Sexuality is such a broad term that defining it to a few words would stifle the growth of it. Sexuality involves the emotions, physical being, thought pattern and so much more of any living thing. As your sexuality coach my goal is to help you identify any aspect of your sexual being that you feel could use guidance. This could involve teaching sexual skills, talking through how to communicate, setting boundaries around your feelings and body or understanding how to love yourself to allow you to love others.

I experienced better results in 3 months of Pilates instruction with Karen than I have in 3 years of PT!I have chronic lower back issues and in a very short time, Karen showed me how to reduce the pain, increase my core strength, and get me back on my bike. The location is great and staff are friendly and responsive.

I started private sessions with Julie when I was in second trimester of my pregnancy. Julie was amazing at customizing each session to match me where I was that day. With Julie’s help I was able to remain active throughout my pregnancy. I have continued to see Julie postpartum and done joint sessions with my mother as well. Julie again has been fantastic at meeting both of us where we are and helping me build back up my core strength after pregnancy. Coming to the studio is an overall wonderful experience and let’s me have some “me” time!

I had wanted to get into Pilates for a while now, but wasn’t sure where to start. A friend recommended Niche to me and I am so glad they did. I started off with a private session to learn the reformer and felt ready to jump into classes after that. I appreciate the small sizes of the classes and the attention from each instructor. I now enjoy going twice a week and consider it both my workout and my “me” time. I love Niche and would recommend it to anyone! Try a class when you can – it’s truly a workout for anyone!

Niche Pilates Studio offers challenging classes with no judgement. It is a beautiful space with thoughtful and knowledgeable instructors. Before I started taking classes, I was dealing with chronic inflammation in my knees, hips and lower back. 7 months later and I am stronger physically than I have been in years! Thank you Niche for welcoming me into the family!

I have been working out religiously at Niche for almost a year now and it is my favorite studio I attend! I love the small class sizes I feel like I get adjustments and really maximize my class time to get my best workout. The instructors are great with modifications and different levels of activity based on the class participants. I have noticed a huge change in my body strength wise but also how I feel and even flexibility. I have an unlimited membership here and you will see me here 5-7 days a week for sure, that’s how much I love it!

Kathy G. rated 5 stars on 4/29/2019
Niche is the best fitness studio I’ve used in Richmond. I love their beautiful light-filled space, the small class sizes, the types of Pilates classes offered, and their incredible instructors. I’ve always liked Pilates, but usually I treated exercise classes as a chore. Niche makes me feel the opposite. I am legitimately excited to go there. The classes and private lessons are fun, just the right amount of challenging, and I love that they emphasize correct form over always doing the hardest version of an exercise. I love the community feeling in the studio. Instructors and other class participants are authentic, friendly, and approachable. Like most people, I struggle with staying motivated and keeping up with an exercise routine, but Niche has made me feel confident and excited about making Pilates a consistent part of my self-care practices. Most important to me, Niche is an integral part of my recovery from a serious, chronic injury. The instructors are serious experts and they’ve used their deep knowledge to custom-tailor solutions that are right for me as I’m working on healing. I go to private instruction twice a week and can honestly say that without it I would never have made the progress in healing that I’ve made.
Katie U. rated 5 stars on 4/29/2019
Niche has changed the way I feel about working out. I can’t say enough about ALL of the instructors. The classes are wonderful…small and very effective. I have really enjoyed working on balance, strong core, and feel much stronger than I ever have. Niche=Magic!

These guys are Great! I’m a young guy who’s had both hips replaced due to AVN. I had my surgries performed at MCV by Dr. Gregory Golladay. Rich was my primary Dpt and Sarah worked with me as well. The whole team at the Center For Physical Therapy, from the receptionist to the assistants to the doctors, were very supportive and easy to work with. For those of you who haven’t been through PT before, having good rapport with your provider is very important. I’m 6 weeks out from my last hip replacement and I’m barely even presenting a limp due, in no small part, to the great care I’ve received during PT.

I have been seeing Rich Linkonis for a few months now and he is by far the best physical therapist I have ever had! The entire staff is also extremely friendly and welcoming. I love that I can get physical therapy, dry needling and chiropractic adjustments all in one visit with one base rate. I highly suggest checking him out at The Center For Physical Therapy.

I’m in pretty good shape for 73, but over the years, I have needed work on my lower back, hip, and wrists. And this place, its great people, its practice, and its level of care has to be among the top–or the top PT group– anywhere! If you are new to physical therapy, start here with professionals who are always there for you when you need them.

Physical Therapy Solutions Innsbrook is the best PT I have ever been too. After my 2nd and 3rd knee surgeries they helped me get back to where I wanted to be physically. They didn’t just check the box and move on. They worked with me every visit to not only rehab, but accomplish my goals to return to the level of physical activity I wanted to be able to accomplish. Even when I had some delays due to work, life and other issues, they continued to help me achieve my goals. I was a patient of Kevin Black but I worked with every therapist there at one time or another and they all have been awesome. They want to get to know you and help create a personal relationship while still helping you achieve your goals. I can’t thank them enough for the help they have given me. 10/10 for them and I would recommend them to anyone. I will definitely be going back if I ever have another issue!

This is my first time going to physical therapy, and I’m happy that this is the office that my orthopedic doctor referred me to. I recently had stiffness in my neck and shoulders are. I went to my Primary Doctor, they referred an Ortho specialist, and he recommended physical therapy. Weeks go by. I don’t realize any improvement. I asked fir an alternative. The Ortho Doctor recommended PT Solutions. I am glad I went. Twice a week and after 3 visits with Kevin, I felt lots better. Kept going fir the recommended visits and I’m almost back to normal, AND I understand more about what is going on. If your Doctor gives you a choice, please choose PT Solutions. They care.

These guys and gals don’t want to get you “back to where you were” after surgery or an injury. They want you to be better than you were before, and they put the work in to help you get there. These folks know their stuff and actually care about your goals and your progress. I would recommend them to ANYONE who is serious about rehabilitation, and improving quality of life vs. just going to the required number of PT appts pre-op and/or post-op. They push you hard – but not toooo hard. I had an amazing experience with Kevin, Megan, Wren, Alan, Jared, Jessica, Allison, Sadie, and all of the ancillary staff. As a patient, I thought they were amazing. As a nurse, I recommend them to patients regularly. (Wren does dry needling, and they use lots of other complementary therapies, as well.) Love, love them!

The BEST! I go to this location as well as the downtown one, and this is truly one of the best physical therapy practices ever. Each member of the staff really cares about you and the PT issues that you may be facing, and works with you to develop a plan that will lead you to success. Runners, I highly recommend going here!

I first visited the Libbie Mill location in September 2023 for the Beginner50 class with Anna and it was a great first experience. I had never tried Pilates before and she was super understanding. The class is fast paced but only 50 minutes long, and I like how it’s a mixture of levels welcomed. I didn’t feel bad or left out because I was new. The music playing was motivational and the studio was very clean. They gave me my own locker when I arrived to place my things in and that made it feel personal, like somewhere I could potentially call home. I will definitely return again!

If you are looking to try Pilates or continue your journey with high intensity, low impact full body work outs this is where you need to be! The instructors are so sweet and motivate you throughout the class! I love how they would call out my name and give me compliments!! Unfortunately I had to stop because I finished up undergrad in RVA and moved back home. If someone from solid core is reading this PLEASE bring a studio to the 757 (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Hampton) WE NEED IT !!!!!

I’m too old for this! How old?? Let’s just say, I have my AARP card!! Lol! But really Stephanie made me feel like a young whippersnapper again! I moved muscles I never knew I had! Typically, my only cardio is shopping! So this was new for me! Some of my co-workers and I signed up for this class, (2 of them had been before!) and it was easy to download the app, sign up for a class, and pay. If this is your first class, get there a little earlier to get a brief review of how the equipment works. We arrived right on time, because we couldn’t find it in the Libbie Mill complex, so our overview was too fast and it was a bit flustering, but I caught in pretty quick. You can always look to your left or right and do “Simon says”. Some of the moves are like playing Twister… “right knee on square 2” etc. We did a basic full body work out, using tension straps, weights, and the sliding board working legs, arms, core, and glutes. The movement are small but mighty. I sweat my a$$ off! I was shocked I was pretty much able to keep up with the young chickies in this class, most were in their 20’s! But I liked this exercise because it wasn’t jumping or high impact… these slight movements truly stretched my body and I felt it from head to toe! I’m sure to be sore tomorrow! Feel that burn!! I liked the dim lighting, the music, the high energy of the instructor, Stephanie, and the positive vibes and adrenaline rush I felt afterwards. The change in positions went a bit fast for me, but I’m sure with practice, the switch ups will be smoother next time! I love the location because I work in the complex so it’s super convenient! We will do more classes for sure!

This place will work you to exhaustion–on purpose! I’m using their new client two week pass, and man, this work out is fun! What’s NOT fun is some one decided no evening classes for September. This idiotic move cost them three stars, because those evening classes are PACKED and very in demand. I’ll adjust my rating when they adjust the schedule! I was about to get a membership but what a shame–I can only make the evening classes.

I love coming to Solidcore each week! The first class was extremely hard as they move at a really fast pace but the instructor I had really tried her best to make sure I had the spring changes I needed and guided me when she could. I’ve gone to 10 classes now and while it’s still intense, I feel like multiple instructors I’ve seen have all been super friendly and really friendly. The space is clean and I really appreciate that they provide wipes at the end of each session.

Due to the new job, I relocated to the Richmond from beautiful San Diego area. Honestly, it was difficult to find a good high quality workout in the city. I am so happy that I found the gem. The instructors are in good shapes and teach all classes with their passions. Let me tell you the class is not easy. After one class, I am hooked and signed up for passes. Things that I like about the place- class availabilities are good – wild variety of instructors – free, easy parking – clean and well organized

I can’t say enough great things about this experience! I started with the intro week and now I am an unlimited member. I like that every day is a new muscle group so I am able to attend almost every day. The coaches are kind and happy to answer questions — they are all very different, so I encourage you to try out everyone’s classes in the beginning to figure out who you vibe with best!

The positive attitude and energy displayed by the Solidcore coaches is why I keep coming back. The workout is tough but totally worth it with the results that you get!! The coaches make you feel that you matter and provide positive reinforcement during the 50 minute workout. The music selections are always upbeat and on point. I have met some great people during my workouts. I am 55 plus and am extremely comfortable with working out with the younger set. Definitely recommend this workout and Libbie Mill location

Kelley is an amazing, effective, and compassionate PT. I started seeing her in person during my pregnancy and postpartum and found it so helpful. We switched to virtual visits during the pandemic and I am amazed by what she is able to assess over the camera. Plus, it is a great opportunity to get feedback on posture and movement “in real life” like bending over the baby crib or carrying baby. What a difference it has made! The other thing that I really appreciate is she is so understanding of motherhood and life and there is no judgement when I can’t do my exercises between sessions. It is so nice to feel supported.

The staff is kind, considerate and easy to work with. The therapists are outstanding! Lori Blair, in particular, is the number one choice for those suffering from Bell’s palsy.

My family selected Sheltering Arms for my rehab after my brain aneurysm. The nursing staff was very attentive and supportive. Morning greetings were very positive and encouraging for the activities of the day. The therapists all knew your strengths and weaknesses. It was obvious they shared info with each other to ensure the highest quality of services for patients. Dr. Clanton has a great personality. He was easy to talk with and very knowledgeable. Overall, my two week stay was a lot of hard work but well worth it.

Sheltering Arms on Hull Street in Chesterfield always does a great job! They give you individual treatment and spend quality time with you throughout your visits. You never feel forgotten in a crowd. I recommend them to everyone I know.
