Veronica provided an amazing Reiki session. She is one of the most powerful healers I have received from. She was full of knowledge and kindness, and truly helped my mind, body and spirit relax and align. Would highly recommend- she is the real deal.

This was the best reading I have ever had. My mother and I went together as a Mother’s Day gift and it was so worth it. Christopher instantly makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. It was like being in the presence of an old friend. His spirituality comes through and we both left feeling so amazing and we left with a lot of clarity. I highly recommend Christopher and we both look forward to getting another reading in the very near future

I’ve had Reiki and Integrated Energy Therapy with Veronica, and both were wonderful experiences. She’s truly a wonderful, intuitive healer and I always feel so much better after a session.

White Lotus Spiritual Healing deserves all 5 stars. To see Veronica’s ideas turn into her reality is a blessing to us all. My sessions with Veronica have been nothing but encouraging and empowering facilitated the necessary change my life needed. She was not there to do the work for me, but the tools and knowledge she provided me with, I still use today. I also appreciate the times that I am able to reach out to her for questions or clarifications without feeling like I’m imposing on her time. She is extremely patient, compassionate, thorough, and understanding. She is passionate about what she does and her energy is contagious. I was so happy with the service I recommended a dear friend of mine to see Veronica, and now my friend has recommended her friends to book an appointment with Veronica as well!! I will say though, watch out her adorable puppies, they love to steal the show

Sirry is the Best of the Best. She is a phenomenal teacher. I have taken a few classes with Sirry and also had the privilege in participating in her group meditation and mediumship practice. WOW!!The power of her presence as a teacher and mentor expands your consciousness and truly brings you to another level. As a teacher, Sirry is dedicated, kind, generous, tuned in! and so knowledgeable. She brings out the very best in you and her classes are fun and fascinating. I felt my own abilities opening and growing stronger just being in her class and it felt so natural. That’s what it’s like to be in the presence of a true medium and a true teacher. You will be inspired and filled with love working with Sirry !Sirry is a gifted and natural born medium. I feel so lucky to have found her in the Boston area. I always feel like I am in the presence of someone from a different realm when I am in Sirry’s class. I have taken a few mediumship classes in my life with famous mediums but nothing compares to the way Sirry imparts her wisdom and guides you. She IS a rare Gem and the real deal. I highly recommend Sirry’s services.

The session I had yesterday was fantastic. She was so open to what they were saying and showing her and many things were spot on. Highly recommended

I would give Sirry ten stars if I could! She is absolutely amazing!! I had an awesome reading with her yesterday and she was right on point with specific and detailed information from my loved ones that had passed. She is warm and caring and makes you feel very comfortable throughout the session. Yesterday’s reading was very healing for me. She is the best of the best!!I’m grateful for her beautiful gift of mediumship and how it has touched my life. It’s always a treat to have a session with Sirry?

Second reading with Sirry as she was so spot-on the first time. Great way to celebrate my loved one’s birthday–so good to know he’s with me with information provided that nobody else knows. A healing experience. I have tried multiple mediums, and I have found the person my loved one obviously likes the best!
Bobbie B. rated 5 stars on 3/25/2022
I see the world and life differently now. I can’t believe the effect of Sirry sharing her energy, that guides her to read me; has had on me today. My brain is wired different today. Sirry spoke to me from a different plane, that I now know REALLY exists. She spoke of personal family matters, that were impossible for her to know. She advised me on personal issues that I needed to hear, and that I knew were issues, that were in my way.Her communication with my mother was other worldly and shocking.I am still astounded and honored to have learned of that unfamiliar spiritual realm that she visits. I had never imagined the communication with spirit to be as real, as I did today. During and after my meeting with her; I was astonished that a human can possess such powerful energy. It’s been a short time since we last spoke, and her words are resonating precisely, with my current reality. It’s not a coincidence. I am changed today, and I feel as if I am at peace, almost as if I saw the light too. But I’m alive and grateful . Thank you Sirry.
Rosalind D. rated 5 stars on 10/6/2022
Very special experience with sirry. She is definitely grifted and takes so much time to carefully interpret what she’s being shown/hearing for you from you passed loved ones.
Serwah B. rated 5 stars on 2/16/2023
Most people read the reviews of Mediums to verify their authenticity. After two sessions with Sirry, (spread out over several years) I can confirm that her gift is authentic. Most importantly, she uses it with integrity. I’m sensitive to people’s energy (vibe), and when I spoke with Sirry, I felt as though I entered a sacred space. She’s connected to the light, and I recommend her services.
Annette J. rated 5 stars on 6/24/2022
Highly recommend! Sirry is so kind and gifted as a medium as well as intuitive life coach. My fiancé and I both felt more at peace after our time with Sirry. We plan on booking another session in the near future.
Lucille F. rated 5 stars on 11/2/2022
I’ve had readings with Sirry before, she is very insightful, perceptive, and very compassionate. I’ve been going through a very difficult situation regarding the suspicious death of a family member, Sirry’s readings have helped me shed light on the situation and continue pursuing and perservering.
John G. rated 5 stars on 6/15/2021
I’ll preface this by saying that I am not skeptical or mediums and the after life. But I am skeptical of potential scams. As you can see by the 5 star review, Sirry was no scam. I booked a session for my mom as a Mother’s Day present. I know she has been into mediums in the past, and also recently needed the guidance to get over some things in the past. Sirry was able to record the session and it has been great to look back on even 24 hours later. The clarity the my mother and I got from our session was incredible and totally eye opening. I’ll even say life changing. The peace of mind, and closure my mother was able to receive was a burden off her chest and soul she won’t have to carry anymore. The questions I had, that I didn’t even physically ask Sirry were answered and confirmed. I would 100% recommend Sirry to anyone looking for a medium that knows what they are doing.

I just switched to Elite after a bad experience at another PT place. Josh is awesome. My experience with him has been like night and day compared to the previous place.Josh took the time to review my injuries, evaluate my capabilities at present, and develop a plan to get to where we want to be. I have made amazing strides in just a few weeks with him. I don’t feel rushed and he is totally hands on with you. You’re not pushed off to an assistant.I highly recommend Josh at the Charles St location if you need physical therapy. The front end staff are awesome as well.

I need to highlight a concerning situation with this clinic. I was misinformed (by workers there) about the charges (even though I asked many times) and ended up being overcharged. I called (2 times) to explain the issue and the worker told me she would talk to the manager and call me back the next day, but that hasn’t happened. I know if I call again I will get the same response … On a positive note, the physiotherapist was good.

I went here for a neck injury from a car accident, and I was getting treated for that. Then I got into another accident and had lower back pain and they treated me right away for that. They did the most! I had Jomar Forrales and Trace Renaud. They made sure I got attention on my neck and back. Also, when I got discharged they sent me home with a big packet with a bunch of stretches and workouts. Jessica, in the front desk is so friendly and helpful. I never had an issue rescheduling EVER. I’m so happy I came here. Love it thank you so much.

I have recently started going to Elite Physical Therapy to get help and have been super impressed with the staff here. They are happy to help, exceptionally patient, and listen attentively. My therapist even stayed with me past my appointment time in order to ensure I was okay to get home due to my condition – it was above and beyond what I would expect.

I cannot say enough good things about the Providence Pilates Center. As an avid runner and “queen of cardio” I was quite intimidated to try Pilates. My uneasiness and uncertainty disappeared as soon as I met with the studio owner, Cheryl and began sessions with my instructor, Sandra. Providence Pilates provides best-in-class instruction – following the classical Pilates method (the only method, in my opinion). Sandra is exceptional – her excellent instruction is matched by her kindness and true concern for her students’ progress and success. I can confidently say that all of the instructors are held to the same caliber. Cheryl runs a top-notch facility and ensures that every member of her staff is professional, well trained and supported by ongoing continuing education. Further, the studio is warn and welcoming. There are no egos or airs. Everyone is accepted – no matter what your fitness level. Finally, let’s talk about the exercise! Oh my gosh – I am hooked. As a runner and high-impact junkie, I came to the studio with chronic pain and terrible posture. The pain has gone away and my posture is remarkably improved after only a few months. This is by far the best fitness decision I’ve ever made.

Amazing studio!! I recently went for my first Pilates class and it was such a calm and welcoming environment!! I loved my tower class with Sarah and she was so great with instructing and explaining new things to me without making me feel any sort of embarrassment for being new! The other people taking the class were also so lovely and helpful! Loved it and will definitely be back!
Olivia H. rated 5 stars on 8/23/2020
Providence Pilates is the place to go! I am a recent college graduate and I just found out that I have mild scoliosis, which causes a lot of neck/shoulder pain. I started taking classes to help strengthen my core, elongate my spine, and to get in a great workout overall! Cheryl is able to accommodate each exercise to how my body moves (or doesn’t move), and I have never felt stronger or more flexible. Even via Zoom, she is also able to pinpoint very specific adjustments that I need to make. Although I am currently taking classes via Zoom, the facility and the staff are all wonderful. Everything is clean, well-spaced out, and a private class feels private even when the studio is busy and bustling. Pilates is a great workout for everyone, for all body types, and all levels of athleticism.

I am on a desperate quest to regain my pre-kid body. I knew what I needed to do, I just had to find the right place… and now I think I have! I had practiced Pilates years ago, and it is, hands down, the best activity to tone my abs… and everything else. Providence Pilates Center is right around the corner from me on the East Side, so I gave them a try. To be honest, I have eased myself in with the Mat Classes only, I have not tried a private lesions using equipment yet. The classes and instructors and fabulous! Cheryl, Raechel and Abbi really know how to teach a class! They explain things clearly, they show modifications for all levels, and most importantly, they make the classes fun. I have only been taking classes for a few months there, but I already feel part of the studio, and more importantly… I am seeing results!

If I go to a restaurant I’m trying for the first time, I’m secretly hoping the cooks are a little chubby, the presumption being that good cooks will be tasting as they cook to ensure the food tastes good. It’s obviously unscientific, but is uncanny when it does work out (ahem, celeb chef Giada. Skinny. Crappy restaurant food). By that same logic, the Pilates Center probably has the most fit instructors overall in all the many different studios I’ve tried in Providence. I’ve done private reformer pilates, reformer trios, and mat classes here. Pilates Reformer- The instruction I’ve had here has been very good. The reformer space itself is smaller and cramped compared to some other studios, but it’s functional. I’ve noticed the reformers here are not as heavy and industrial looking as some others I’ve tried that are built off the original Joseph Pilates spec. The pricing for reformer classes is highly competitive compared to other studios which is a big drawing point since I can take a higher volume of classes (packages are sold at a discount too). Again, the big draw for me taking trios or privates here is the physical fitness of the instructors. Abs you can bounce a nickel off of on an instructor is called motivation folks!Mat classes- the main studio for mat classes is a lot nicer than the space for the reformers. It’s located off the Main Street and is brighter, clean, airy, with wood floors and mirrors so you can check out your form. I love the fact that there’s a lot of fusion classes like Pilates Mat-Barre and intend on trying these more. The location is kind of tucked away on the East side near Brown Stadium in a residential area. Street parking is easy to find. It’s a nice studio, and well worth trying out.

Best Pilates studio ever. They start you off with private sessions, so you can learn proper technique and then move you into a duo or trio. Classes are small and intimate and the instructors are very supportive. I feel so much better, which is just as, if not more, important than looking better.

I started coming here after a back injury and physical therapy, it was a great decision. I have been taking 1:1 Pilates with Mel and Kristen, they are both energetic, motivating and knowledgeable. I work out hard but always have fun when I go there and my back/core are getting stronger! The mat classes are great too, you get a intense core workout and a fun group environment. Rachel makes it fun but keeps a close eye on your form as well. Definitely would recommend PPC, a good investment in yourself.

An amazing gem! Filled with beautifully presented and thoughtfully curated books (twenty highlighted stories per month), kind staff, as well as journals, local art/products made by RISD grads, tees, puzzles and much more. There’s something here for everyone. Unexpectedly, we particularly loved the books in their kids section. Very dog friendly, always a plus. Loved it so much that we will be sure to stop by next time we’re down from Boston.

Wow! Books on the Gooooooo! LA’a Mobile Bookstore. What a great concept and idea. I was strolling Pasadena on this beautiful Friday and saw this young guy and girl sitting next to a automobile with tons of books on and around it, i stoped and we got around to chitchatting about how I loved the idea of the mobile bookstore. The guy and girl were so cool and down to earth I couldn’t of been happier to just meet them, as I told them I would definitely follow them on there LA journey. They were so kind and offered me a free bookmark, I’ll make sure that on my next visit I will definitely make some time to stop and look at what’s in stock. We stopped in here by chance after eating at Aleppo Sweets. I loved everything about this store, especially the concept. They showcase 20 books a months that they had pick. I was able to concentrate on the titles and read more about genres and subjects I wold probably not seek out on my own. I appreciated the thought behind this store and the new books it introduced me to. It’s very clean and orderly and the set up allows you to focus on the showcased titles. I look forward to coming back next month!

I am a very spiritual person and have been to mediums in the past. I felt is was time to get a spiritual cleansing because there has been so much going on in my life that I felt I needed some positive affirmation. Nancy is so gentle and makes you feel so comfortable. She is also very good at what she does. She brought up things that have been going on in my life and have happened in my life in the past and was spot on! I have already recommended friends to go see her and I would go back for sure. I left there feeling uplifted and cleansed! Thank you for your healing magic Nancy! It made a big difference! Tammy

I had a telephone reading with Nancy recently. I am, in many ways, one of the most difficult types of people to do a psyhic reading for, because I am a mystic, and intuitive and a spiritual healer, and thus there are essentially no problems or issues in my life, nor any questions in my mind, when I ask for a reading, and this can leave a reader with very little to work with, and with less to say. It can make it very difficult for a reader if they feel that they must be finding problem areas in the reading and then be offering advice or guidance. Despite these challenges, Nancy Johansen at Angeltouche managed to give me a good and useful, and fun, reading anyway! It was a totally cold reading, where she knew nothing about me at the start of the reading beyond my first name and the fact that I live on the East Coast. Nonetheless, despite all the challenges or potential difficulties that I have outlined above, Nancy managed to accurately and clearly see a number of things about me and about my life, and she also clearly stated that she saw that I was a spiritual healer and a powerful intuitive, and also many other things that she could not have otherwise known about me.I had a good time with this reading.

She is very informative. I felt very comfortable and could ask her as many questions as I wanted. The reading took about an hour. She explains everything regarding the angel reading, and the report that she sends you for the entire year. I was extremely happy and will definitely be back again.

Matt is the king of PT, he welcomes you in the office like it’s his home & you’re his guest, in my case it came complete with a tour of the faculty. His explanations of exercises, injuries & treatment are always understandable & as detailed as you wish to hear. He commonly shows ways to advance or simplify a beneficial movement with environmental ” tools” accessed around your house, gym or workplace. On my last visit he referred to an open door jam as a balance aid in addition to an exercise band & positional changes for advancement work in the future. His patience & listening skills are a rare trait in todays world that are appreciated when you’re heading down the path to an efficient recovery. I personally followed him from a previous office to his current Providence location & I’d recommend you do the same.

As an athlete and a physician I cannot say enough good things about the quality of care Greg gives to his patients. He takes the time to properly listen, diagnose, explain and treat. I imagine there are a lot of decent physical therapists out there, but I would venture to guess none are as knowledgeable or have the manual intuition that Greg does. If he doesn’t figure out the issue in the beginning he will work until you are fixed. There is no one I would recommend more than him for the care of soft tissue musculoskeletal injuries. If you want the epitome of professionalism, look no further.

I went to Specht for physical therapy following a car accident. Zach was able to identify on the first day that it was not a back injury but an out of place rib that was causing my pain. Every session with Zach was enjoyable and I always left with new exercises to do at home. I give Zach 5 stars, hands down. However, I ran into a snag with their billing system. They never told me I would have copays and instead dropped the information, and total on me a week before Christmas. They did offer to call my insurance companies and work out a payment plan, but it was stress right near the holidays I did not need. Zach is wonderful and I highly recommend him!

I was referred to Specht Physical Therapy by my chiropractor, Dr. Ellen McNally. The overall experience was more than pleasant. My initial appointment for severe back pain was a very thorough analysis, almost an hour. That was the first time someone took this much time to evaluate my health history, pasture, pain levels and even my breathing “technique” . After about 3 months of weekly treatments (and homework), my back is pain free and I feel a huge overall improvement in my health. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Don’t put your busy schedule first, make time for your HEALTH!

I was referred to the amazing Lauren Cornell of Specht Physical Therapy by my chiropractor, Dr. Ellen McNally. Lauren helped me immensely to strengthen and stretch weak areas that contributed to my muscle pains, knots, and numbness. I am not an athlete but I like to play one when I’m in the gym. I tend to lift heavy and not always with perfect form. Lauren helped coach me it’s okay to lift heavy but also use lighter weights to work smaller muscle groups while working on better form. Lauren used several tools and techniques to discover where my issues were and was very good at explaining what we were doing and why we were doing it. We made videos with great coaching advice and technique so I could practice outside of the office. Lauren is a very pleasant and fun person to be around. She made each session informative and a positive experience. I was encouraged to email with questions and to try my best even if I did not always get it right the first try. I will definitely work with Lauren at Specht Physical Therapy the next time my body decides to betray me. I would highly recommend Lauren and Specht Physical therapy. If you live and or work in Providence it is very conveniently located inside Momentum Fitness on South Main Street. A short walk from Downtown and the local colleges.

Zach is amazing! I had been going to another PT place for a year, but as Covid19 started unfolding I moved to tele-therapy with him and it has honestly been more helpful than the past 6 months of PT at the other clinic. Even though it’s online, Zach gives his full attention to you and besides being fun to work with, he is clearly excellent at his job and has an in depth understanding of how the body works. It’s been a great way of continuing PT while I’m at home and I couldn’t recommend him more!

I came here after the the latest in a series of high ankle sprains that have occurred over the past few decades. Within minutes of my first visit, Zach had pointed out what no other doctor or therapist had been able to in the past and we were able to work on the root cause of my ankle issues. For the first time in years I have some flexibility and my ankles and almost no pain. I can’t speak highly enough about Zach and would give more than 5 stars it it were possible.

I started my PT with Greg who transitioned me to Lauren for most of my visits to work on core strengthening to combat spinal stenosis. With both Greg and Lauren I found that every visit was well-managed. I received detailed explanations of the anatomy involved, careful assessment, directed manipulation, thoughtful exercise design, and especially encouragement. Today I “graduated” to self-care, armed with an effective set of exercises that should allow me to maintain and improve my strength and hopefully, ward off any need for more invasive treatment for the spine issue. Beyond her expert advice and therapy, Lauren always found time for conversation about life and family. I always looked forward to my visits with her. I highly recommend Specht and particularly Lauren and Greg. Keep up the good work!

I was skeptical about going to physical therapy to help with my shoulder pain after the home exercise plan my orthopedist gave me didn’t do much to help. I’m glad I reconsidered and went to BSPT. I primarily worked with Michelle and Lisa, and they were fantastic. Over 3 months they got my shoulder in better shape and helped increase my strength and most importantly almost totally eliminated the pain I was feeling. I can’t recommend this place enthusiastically enough. Everyone is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely care about their patients – I particularly noticed how well the PTs and assistants work with young children during my sessions. I hope I don’t need PT again but if I do I will definitely be back!

I have been in and out of physical therapy since my scooter accident in 1996. A few years ago I had back surgery (spinal fusion). Also recently diagnosed with A-Fib. Haven’t been to PT since right after surgery, so I was a little concerned about whether they could help me or not. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. And they accommodate for my disabilities very well. Don’t push too much, yet encourage me to challenge myself.I actually enjoy going, and that’s a first for PT! It’s like going to the gym and having my own personal trainer. Couldn’t as for better experience.

I have been battling a neck issue for a very long time. My PCP recommended I start PT at Bay State Physical Therapy. At first I wasn’t sure what to think of the practice, but after my first week of treatments, I already started to feel progress. My first consultation was pretty standard and quick. Once treatments began, the entire staff was pretty good. All of the physicians would engage the patients in conversations. It was nice that they ask about our weekends and days and tend to remember aspects of our life. The staff seems generally interested the patients lives. I have seen some of the “long time patients” come in and joke with the therapists and discuss restaurant recommendations and weekend plans. The conversations definitely help to make the therapy more enjoyable and takes away some of the stress,I was originally assigned 1 therapist, but due to my schedule, I have ended up seeing a total of 4 therapists. At first I wasn’t too keen on the idea of meeting with multiple therapists, but I quickly realized I had nothing to fear. The therapists seem to do a really nice job of keeping detailed notes on the patients. Every therapist I had met with knows every exercise I had done, with detailed notes of reps, weights and pain levels. No matter who my therapist was at each appointment, I have never felt neglected or that i was not being treated properly.I have had times where the therapists seemed short handed and had other patients need attention when I was ready for the next step. The therapists do a nice job of utilizing the assistants (interns) of keeping the flow of my treatments. There have been times where I finish my stretching routine and the therapist is working with another patient, but the intern was awaiting to instruct me. The therapists did always do a nice job of asking me how I was doing from across the room. The front desk staff seems to do a nice job as well. Every time I have entered the building, I was always greeted by name by someone behind the desk. They seem very friendly and do a nice job of working with my schedule. They always make sure that I am comfortable with who I was being treated by if I couldn’t make the hours of my typical therapist. All in all, I no issue continuing treatment here and will gladly return for future treatments (if necessary).

i was rushed through all my appts and couldn’t’ wait for them to be over. I felt like they were bored with working on me, and one of my appts i was actually left on the table for 35 mins with heat. then from across the room the girl would yell to me what to do as she was working with another client/patient. I had to ask for stretches. I had to ask for strengthening exercises for my back and i felt like i ran the course of my own treatment. NOT pleased and I will not return.

I visited Bay State PT in Attleboro for a recurrence of lower back and left leg pain, which I had surgery on about two years ago. I’m very familiar with general Physical Therapy policies and practices, as I’ve been in and out of PT for numerous problems for years. My appointment was scheduled for 10:45 on a Saturday, and I was instructed to come 15 minutes prior in order to fill out paperwork. I arrived at 10:30, was done with the paperwork in about 5 minutes, and then was told by the unpleasant front desk staff that my appointment wasn’t until 11am. I know that the appointment was scheduled at 10:45 and that there had to have been a scheduling mix up. Regardless, I waited, and waited, until 11:15 when I finally was taken in for my initial consultation, 45 minutes after I had arrived. My consultation lasted only 15-20 minutes, and I felt very rushed during the entire process. I later learned that I was the last appointment of the day, on a Saturday, which I felt certainly contributed to this rushed consultation. Not only was I rushed, but my ‘therapist’ apparently didn’t feel the need to measure or record any of my movements. If she was, she was estimating and generalizing, and must have been ‘recording’ the data in her head. After my 15 minute consultation, I was given two poorly explained exercises to try at home. I was not given a printout with diagrams or explanations of these exercises, which in the past has been standard practice at any PT place I have visited. When I left, I knew that this place was not a good fit. Even so, I scheduled future appointments just in case I couldn’t find another place to go to PT in the area. When I did schedule an appointment elsewhere, I called Bay State back to cancel the appointments I had made with them. The woman I spoke with sounded bewildered and shocked that I was canceling all appointments after only one short visit to their establishment. She offered me a chance to speak with the Clinical Director, Matt, which I welcomed as I thought it would be wise to inform him of the terrible visit I had to his establishment.Matt seemed receptive at first, even offering me a personal visit with him. When I told him I was seeking treatment elsewhere, but may take him up on that offer if it didn’t work out, he told me to ‘do him a favor’ and not call back. Not only did I find this rude in general, I found it extra rude for the CLINICAL DIRECTOR to be speaking to me this way.I would do everything and anything possible to steer clear of this place. The staff is rude, unprofessional, and poorly trained. As soon as I find a decent PT place in the Attleboro area, I’ll try to update this with a name so you can avoid going through what I did.

I started coming here 5 months ago for Pilates classes (Reformer, specifically). I love it. I’ve taken classes with 3 of the instructors (Maria, Clary, and Wendy), and each one gives a great workout. My hubz and I recently began taking Duet classes with Wendy – our masochist idea of a “date night.” It’s a blast! Wendy is fun, funny, and focused – she makes sure we’re doing all the exercises perfectly and that the tasks are appropriate for our skill set (or lack thereof, in some cases). If you’re unsure if Pilates is for you/you’re a beginner/been out of it for a bit, set up a class with Wendy. I can’t say enough great things about her.Anyway, go, sign-up, sweat, and enjoy!

My husband and I have worked with Maria for probably ten years — first in studio and now remotely. We have done pilates with other instructors. Maria is the very best. I would recommend her to any one who wants to do pilates — either a beginner or someone who has done pilates for years.

I’m kinda done with my gym…In search of something to step up the personal fitness, a friend and I bought a TRX package at Maria’s studio. She and her team run an awesome business.Clean as clean can be – like I would eat off the floors.Bottled water in the fridge. Relaxing ambiance, cool loft space, great tunes, personal care amenities: Meyers hand soap, mouth wash, lotion. I’ve done both Pilates reformer and TRX. Both instructors bring great things to the table; humor, inclusiveness for all levels, and slight corrections for optimal alignment. I’ll see you next week!

HOOKED!The people were super friendly and welcoming, the place was state if the art, super clean and had a chic vibe and Trainer Maria was supportive, helpful, funny and I know this studio will be a very happy, fresh start for my new TRX life! From one gymaphobe to another this place looks challenging yet doable and most importantly I felt comfortable and can’t wait to go back!If you get a special or package the prices are very reasonable too!

Ok, so usually the only kind of heavy lifting I do is w/ a fork. I’d hurl all sorts of justification at myself in order to not work out i.e., Healthy schmealthy. I’ve got good genes (thanks mom and dad); gyms = fungus; I like meat not meatheads. Stuff like that. Anyway, there’s only so much foodie torture your genes can take before it impacts the jeans, and so I decided to dabble in the workout dark side. After some dabbling I decided to strap myself onto this medieval looking torture device apparatus that piqued my interest, and noticed that huh, how lithe and limber these peeps next to me look, and, how interesting, I actually see they have abs unlike my slab, and well, I had to admit, who wouldn’t wanna look good in yoga pants? Hence, pilates. I’m not going into the history or justification on why or why not pilates. All you really need to know is that contorting yourself in this lofty airy space doesn’t feel like exercise, it just feels like you’re going to look like hot shit in no time if you just keep at it. So try it out, boys and girls, you can get a mini-trial for free so you’ve got nothing to lose except the flab. The instructors are instructive, the space is spacious and just Why Not. I like it, maybe you will too.

I recently moved to Providence from California, where I had been doing Pilates 3x/week and TRX 1x/week. Without that combo, I’m in a lot of pain, and I’m not much fun to be around! It was crucial that I find a great studio with a smart teacher who could push me and help me build my strength and ability. Maria is absolutely phenomenal. She is super smart (and funny) and incredibly precise. In a few weeks of her classes, there’s been more variety in my workout than I’ve had in a long, long time. I love learning, so this is extra fun. Maria is truly the best teacher I’ve had — she knows exactly how to reach different types of learners and make things work for different bodies. The studio space is really beautiful, and if you’re a Pilates geek, you will lose it over the equipment: fully kitted-out, brand new Balanced Body reformers, wunda chairs, cool toys, real deal TRX straps and on and on. The vibe is welcoming and fun, and the people are lovely. Go!

Maria is AMAZING. She is thoughtful and in touch with individual needs. She pushes her students to do what they can, but is sensitive to their limits and always tries to boost confidence. I am 5 weeks in and could not be happier with this studio. Also, 5 weeks in and feeling results fast. This is the real deal.

I’ve done Pilates for a long time and love it. Maria is an AWESOME instructor – since I’ve started working out with her I’ve had a major breakthrough. She has tips and tricks to help me isolate the muscles I need. I have trouble with my neck and thought that pain / tension was just an inevitable part of working out. But, since training with Maria. . . I can do the exercises with NO neck pain. And the best part, my abs are so strong. The other night my husband was running his hand over my stomach and actually commented on how strong it is . . . and that’s after 2 kids and 20 years of marriage. The Mind 2 Body Fit studio is beautiful – light, airy, clean and her pilates equipment is the best I’ve ever used. Try it . . .you’ll be glad you did!!!
Ash D. rated 5 stars on 1/5/2014
Maria is a great instructor. She manages to keep the TRX classes entertaining so you don’t realize how challenging the workout is until you wake up sore the next day. The classes are usually 3-6 people, so you get personalized attention and can focus having the correct form. I would highly recommend this studio (as long as the classes don’t fill up and take my spot)!
Tracy B. rated 5 stars on 2/14/2013
I have tried it all… cross fit, yoga, dance, etc. You name it. I was always intimidated by Pilate’s equipment until now. Maria, the owner of the studio lets you try out a 30 minute demo. She is a great teacher – I really like her style. She also offers TRX. This has become my favorite. It is your own body weight stretch training. Keeps it interesting and is a great workout. The studio is very zen like. Very clean, open, and airy. Highly recommend it!

My son has made some great improvements since he started working with Katelyn in August. They accommodate schedule changes without any problems and staff is always patient and polite even when he is being difficult and upset during therapy sessions. I highly urge parents to use cbs therapy if their child has delays or other needs that need to be addressed. Thank you CBS Therapy from the Abbondanza family. It was terrible! The speech therapist looked so newbie and inexperienced. She just stood there when the child showed no interest. I had to tell her how to do her job such as “why don’t you try to work with the child in the bigger room, why don’t you try this, why don’t you try that, etc?” It looked like her body was just there, but her brain was not. The therapy rooms are so tiny and not kid friendly, not a place where a child would want to be in. The initial evaluation was so boring, just a bunch of questionnaires (30 minutes) and the child was so bored. I tried “Prestige Therapy” and I love it, except the therapist “Lou” would always showed up late and left early. Each session was supposed to be 30 mins, but because she always showed up late and leave early, all sessions were just about 10-15 minutes, which I got robbed so I discontinued with it.

After my experience at CBS therapy there is no other place I would personally recommend to others. My 6 year-old son received Speech therapy services at CBS therapy with Alicia, but had interactions with both the occupational therapist and physical therapists in the office as well. The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, never made me feel rushed or just another appointment on the books. Which is important for us as adults, never mind as a parent where the appointment is for your child’s well being. They were very easy to talk to, effectively communicated to me my sons progress and areas of improvement, always giving me useful resources to follow-through with at home improvement. Although I was there for Speech therapy, other therapist in the office who were not currently in session were very friendly and would always interact when possible. Overall I did not have one bad interaction with any of the therapists or staff of CBS therapy and fully entrust my child’s well-being and development with the staff of CBS therapy.

There is no other place I would personally recommend to others, other than CBS Therapy. .Their Speech therapy services at CBS is top notch and their therapists are very patient and work so well with everyone. The occupational therapist and physical therapists in the office are accommodating and make the experience easy on all. The entire staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, they never make anyone feel rushed or just another appointment on the books. Which is important for us as adults, never mind as a parent where the appointment is for your child’s well being. They were very easy to talk to and effectively communicated any information we needed to know. Overall I did not have one bad interaction with any of the therapists or staff of CBS therapy and fully entrust my child’s well-being and development with the staff of CBS therapy. The office staff, especially Jen make that whole process easy on us as well.

What an amazing place! We had just moved to RI from California and my husband and I noticed that our wonderful 5 year old son was struggling to meet some milestones. His doctor and I discussed his concerns and he suggested CBS Therapy, as the saleswoman had just dropped off some info about them. I gave the number listed a call and a young woman answered and directed me to the Clinic Manager (Karen). Karen explained to me that they do accept my insurance (other places I called did not), and that there would be less than a two week wait to get my child evaluated. We are now into two months of therapy and my husband and I are just blown away by his progress. I finally feel like he is getting the help I have been looking for over the last year. So thank you CBS for all the amazing work that you do!
