Such a great studio! Being in college, I’m always looking for a good yoga place that isn’t too pricey. I got started here because I found it on Groupon. It gave me three weeks of unlimited classes for $30. Such a great deal!  The instructors are super knowledgeable and will adjust you if you aren’t doing the move properly. I absolutely LOVE this! It has helped me figure out how to properly practice yoga. I haven’t had this great of guidance at any other studio! All the instructors work to continuously alter you to make sure you are doing yoga correctly. Thank you, thank you, thank you! (if you are a person who cannot stand touch, just let them know before hand. They’re super accommodating! But I would definitely let them work their magic.) Suzanne and Laurie are amazing. I cannot wait to take class from the rest! The studio is super nice. The times can be a little iffy but that is because they have only one room. It is a large room sparsely decorated and super common. I love how they don’t have any mirrors. It helps you focus on your own practice. They have three changing rooms, which is nice because a lot of times I don’t need to use the restroom, I just need to change! They have one bathroom that both men and women can use. It is one toilet and is very clean.Make sure you remember your mat! They have mats that you can rent for three dollars or you can test out on that if you were thinking about purchasing one. Also, arrive a few minutes early to class. They lock the door once class starts to make sure everyone’s belongings are safe. The only downsides for me are I’m super allergic to the DoTerra oils that spray in the corner (They’re supposed be allergy free, but I always seem to puff up and get a rash on my face!) and waiting outside until they open for the early classes. Online, they suggest that you come 10 to 15 minutes before. However, it depends on the instructor! Doors will probably open at 5-till. Thankfully, both “downsides” can be remedied! The instructors are super accommodating and turn off the diffuser when I take class. as for the morning class, it doesn’t bother me too much! Everyone should extend grace because it will vary morning to morning.I hope they come up with a great college discount so I can keep going here!! I seriously love it.

When we purchased our home four years ago, we had Steve Vacha out and he was very educated and thorough; a true professional. I had some questions and talked to Aaron, who was very helpful and explained things so I could understand them. Sadly, our buyers hired a clueless inspector who claim to be educated, but wasn’t nor could he write accurate reports. Red flags: poorly written reports looking like cut and paste, misspellings, not knowing how to find basic things in your home, not knowing how to use GFCI, having to call you to ask how to get the electrical cover off (funny), not knowing how to turn on an ice maker, etc. The next time we need a home inspection, we will again contact Home Standards and know that we will be secure in the findings. Also, I recommend you hire them BEFORE you list your home, so you know what/if any repairs should be made to get it out of the way, then the appraisal should go smoothly to closing. Also, then the buyers won’t need to hire their own (who could be a “hack.”).  We learned the hard way 2nd time around as sellers. In this day and age it’s sometimes hard to find honest and reliable services, but Steve and his team have our full confidence.  They actually know their way around a home and how to write a clear and accurate report…kudos!

About Omaha Physical Therapy Institute

Omaha Physical Therapy Institute (OPTI) specializes in the treatment of all injuries and painful conditions. We also perform rehabilitation for all post-operative procedures.

History: The OPTI Story Before OPTI was created, there were two physical therapists (Brent Cordery and Katie Cordery) married to each other, who were each working for physical therapy clinics that were more about the business than the healthcare. These physical therapists loved their profession but felt the care they were providing to their patients was being compromised by the productivity standards of the companies for which they worked. They were instructed to see more than one patient at a time and encouraged to use unskilled support staff to assist with patient treatments. These work environments motivated them to start the process of opening their own private physical therapy clinic, where they could make sure patients were getting the time, attention, and treatment that they deserved. The focus of this new clinic would be on QUALITY not quantity.

My soccer playing daughter sprained her ankle the Monday before her weekend state semi-final/final.  It swelled up a lot and she could not put any weight on it.  I was pretty sure she would not be able to play in state cup that weekend and that she would probably be on crutches for a couple weeks. We went to OPTI on Tuesday of that week.  We saw Brent on Tuesday and then we scheduled therapy every day the rest of the week with Katie.  We were hoping that her ankle would improve with therapy, but I also tried to be realistic–the ankle was bad.  What happened was her ankle improved beyond our wildest hopes.Every day that week the ankle got better and better because of her therapists.  She was walking on the ankle by Wednesday.  On Friday, we met Katie at a soccer field and she took my daughter through different soccer drills, testing the ankle as well as testing her confidence in the ankle.  On Saturday, my daughter played in the semi-final and played well.  Her team won!On Sunday, my daughter played in the final.  The game went to a shootout and my daughter took a penalty kick and made it!  Her team won the state championship and will be moving on to regional competition.  I am convinced that she would not have been there to have that experience without OPTI.  Katie and Brent are miracle workers.I cannot tell you how pleased we are with OPTI.  They get my highest recommendation!

this is the PLACE!!! Gosh, I could say 100 different things about what I love about PLNK but I’ll try and keep it brief. I saw an ad online for your first class free and I thought why not. Walking in I was honestly super intimidated — the machines look terrifyingly confusing and everyone looks like they know what they are doing, so naturally I was shaking in my boots not knowing what to expect. However, upon walking in I was greeted with smiles and they took me to my machine to show me a few of the moves and how to operate it before it started. I had a little card with my name on it welcoming me, a sweat towel, and a free boxed water. I had to buy grippy socks at the front desk because I didn’t have any (& didn’t know I needed them) that were about $15. They had me placed next to a gal who was a pro at PLNK, and thank goodness they did otherwise I would have been absolutely lost. Once the clock starts, there is no stopping. The instructor is always super clear on giving step by step directions to follow so you can understand even if you’ve never done it before. There are mirrors all around the room, so worst case scenario you can just look at the reflection & see what others are doing and follow suit. Olivia was my instructor for the first PLNK class ever, and she crushed it (or me? Well.. both). The next morning my abs were so sore I couldn’t sit up in bed.. literally. I was d e c e a s e d. I really like Pilate-type movements because it’s more gentle on the joints, but I don’t like the ease or pace of Pilates which is why I love PLNK so much. It is easy on the joints but also has resistance to grow and tone your muscles & get you in amazing shape in no time. This is the first group class I have ever genuinely enjoyed AND seen results from (I have tried many yall.. so that’s a big statement for me). The instructors are sweet and the facility is spotless and clean. You will love your experience here!! Tanya and Olivia are definitely the hardest, I haven’t been to all the instructors yet but Meghan is awesome for first timers! Your first class is free, try it out!!! TIPS : – they will probably put you next to someone who is well versed in PLNK so you can have a constant guide next to you. Feel free to ask them to do it as well if you’re really concerned! – buy your grippy socks before on Amazon if you want to save a few bucks – watch a few YouTube videos on the megaformer before you take your first class to give you an idea of what you’ll be doing- stretch prior to your class- don’t be scared, you’ll do great!!

Dr. Kayla is a miracle worker. I was in probably the worst pain of my life due to a sciatica issue. I was on crutches for 4 days prior to my appointment and couldn’t be on my feet for more than 5 minutes without unbearable pain. I couldn’t even drive myself to my appointment. I booked a no cost initial phone visit and she worked me in to her schedule that same week to get me out of pain. On the day of the visit, she assessed me and did dry needling on my one hip where the most pain was. She also checked for other spots where there were knots in my other hip and spine and did needling there too. I was 80% back to my normal after the first visit. I had a preexisting injury to my right side ankle and hip, which helped to cause the sciatica issue. I have had pain and tightness in my hip and swelling in my ankle since that injury a few years ago. After a second visit and another round of needling, my hip and ankle both feel better than they have in years and I would say I feel 150% better than I did before the sciatica issue and back to my pre-injury self . She gave me exercises to do everyday to prevent the issue from reoccurring and I can feel my leg getting stronger every day. Her clinic prices are very reasonable also. I paid out of my HSA for the visit no problem. She also uses a really nice app to track appointments and log exercises.

About Next Millennium

Welcome, stranger, to the Next Millennium. We’re Omaha’s favorite space for all things metaphysical, and we can’t wait to guide you along in your quest through the spiritual realm. Here, you’ll find a comforting yet curious energy around you as you make your way through our store of enchanting objects. Everything has meaning around here, from our handmade gemstone jewelry to our seemingly endless collection of rocks and crystals. So come explore with us — we promise you’ll discover more than a few treasures to harness the soul.

History: The store started off as a few incense racks and a shelf with a few books out of a hypnosis office! Charlie, the store’s founder, was working as a hypnotherapist and got requests from clients for books and incense. He had a second room in his office and started to bring in various incenses, rocks, and books. Initially, he had this “store” open by request only, then grew to being open for twelve hours a week! Demand grew and soon this space was not large enough to handle the requests for more products and we looked for a storefront. About a year later, we expanded the storefront to double the size of to allow for a classroom to offer classes on crystals, Reiki, Wicca, herbs, astrology, past life regression and many other great topics. Five years later, we moved to our current location with 8500 square feet of store, warehouse, and classroom space.

Every item and experience we have had has been excellent. We are from the west coast where these types of stores are everywhere and the Next Millennium is top notch. People who have given less that glowing reviews must not have much experience in new age stores. Beautiful items, beautiful people. I recommend this store to anyone and everyone!

I have nothing but praise for the folks here, from the front desk to the therapists.  I had shoulder surgery and spent four months rehabbing and strengthening my newly repaired joint.  Not only did the therapists assigned to me communicate very well with each other, but also with the surgeon.  The therapy was extremely helpful, and was made much easier by the very personable staff.  I felt like I got to know them during my time there.  I’ve given five stars because the system won’t let me give any more!

Top orthopedic surgeons and care! This is my second go-around with full knee replacement surgery, the first was in 2009. I can’t say enough about OrthoNE and their level of care. My surgeon, Dr. Sayfe Jassim, has this whole process down to an art form, from pre-surgery to using robotics and a minimally invasive procedure to a post-operative medication and physical therapy plan that is well planned and requires me to participate. I can’t recommend this facility and team highly enough.
