My Starlight is AMAZING! Anya is THE person to go to for a reading. I have been telling my friends and coworkers all about her. I will admit I am a bit biased because this was my first reading I ever had. BUT truly she is phenomenal with the work she does. I only told her my name and date of birth then she started providing me with insight and guidance. Initially I was afraid that I would get too much information or that I would feel lost after the reading but that was not the case at all. Anya was spot on with her reading and she made sure to provide me with resources to help me through my journey. I will definitely be back for future readings.Other pros include: *reasonable price*personality (she is genuinely interested in helping you and guiding you)*great response time (she followed up and responded to my questions via text promptly)If you need a reading, Anya will not dissapoint.

Anya is a special, wonderful intuitive who genuinely loves what she does. The environment is inviting and warm, full of color and calm. I am still smiling at my experience and how calm I felt after and can’t wait to see her again.Thank you Anya! What a joy you are.

I did not like the unprofessional environment of the townhous (someone was cooking) Plus she asked too many questions to be a “real” psychic. I believe we all just need someone to talk & vent to instead of paying someone to listen to us….TL;DR There are no such thing as psychics.ABC New: “The psychic business is built on lies. There is no supernatural power. You can’t see the future,” Edward says. “We’re in the golden age of the con. There are people coming out of the woodwork that would love to separate you from your money. But people just want someone to talk to. That’s the bottom line.””A good psychic will tell you to shut up,” Parker said. “If they start asking you a ton of questions, run.”google.com/amp/s/www.lat…abcnews.go.com/GMA/Weeke…

I been to many reiki masters /medium/ psychics, but never had an experience like I did at My Starlight. Anya is amazing at what she offers. Very professional and kind. I went once just to check her out because a friend recommended her I’m her regular client now. I have recommend her to my family and friends. Since She is been working with me things been changing for better in my life. Prices are reasonable she does not over charge like others I been to in the VA area. She is the absolutely the best I highly recommend her.

Anya is the only person I trust with all my life endeavours. She’s one of the wisest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. I can not reccommend her enough!!!!I’ve had my doubts about tarot card readings because I’ve heard it can be a frightening experience. However, she was the complete opposite. Her presence alone is so comforting and calming. She was very honest about what she pulled and we talked through all my options. She was able to get to the root of what has been hurting/bothering me. Truly life-changing. Anya also does reiki which I so desperately needed. Ever since our last session, I feel at ease and so positive about everything. Money is definitely not the motive Her purpose was to help people and it shows through her work.

I did some psychics reading before and I have to say this is the best one I have been to. I am not a deep believer in this but I scheduled just to explore and who knows it was a tremendous and amazing experience with her!!! She is a honest reader, not only tells you what she saw but also provides you suggestions and life advice. It was very helpful and I honestly feel better after my session with her! I will definitely go back to her and I recommend you give a try!

Anya’s gentle guidance was just what I needed during a time of uncertainty. She brought things to the surface that I was unable to reach on my own. Her combination of an intuitive reading and energy work allowed for healing to take place on so many levels. Very grateful for our session!
Deb M. rated 5 stars on 11/18/2019
I must’ve begged Anya to give me a bs response to my question and each time was brought back to my intuitive knowing. She isn’t for the faint of heart, you must have a certain level of conscious awareness to receive what Anya provides. She’ll gauge your level of readiness so be prepared to receive the truth, the whole truth and nothing but it. Seriously a very spiritual and intuitive being, she even gave me a free cleanse at the end of our reading which she felt compelled to do by her guides. I enjoy having her in my network and will make sure to see her actively as she definitely reaffirmed the areas in life I truly need to heal, discover, and build upon.
Angela L. rated 5 stars on 7/7/2019
Anya is highly gifted in the spiritual arts and with guiding you specifically with the knowledge and wisdom that you need at the most pertinent time in your life when you most need it. I have had many readings by her in which she is always spot on with the information that comes through. She has helped me many times with placing my mind and heart at ease while also helping to guide me in the steps that I need to take for my highest growth, potwntja and betterment. Anya is a true gift from God who I’m so happy to have found!

People often ask me, “do you believe in this stuff?” I get it. I’m an attorney and a social scientist. I like facts and evidence. And also, there is no definitive way to prove or disprove “this stuff.” There is, however, significant evidence, that I have witnessed on multiple occasions, that meaningful, discrete/proprietary, and uplifting information is consistently conveyed through Cheryl. “This stuff” is powerful and can improve your life in meaningful ways. Here are some facts. A little less than a year ago, we did a family reading in an attempt to connect with my late father. He came through with a personalized message for each my mother, siblings, and me. Next, my maternal grandmother came through. She referred to making pineapple upsidedown cake with my mom as a little girl, which was specific and completely true and special between the two of them. Here’s where it gets really cool. She indicated that my mom has a different biological father than the father who raised her and urged my mom to check the online DNA databases. My mom decided to submit a DNA sample. My brother helped her do some digging. Low and behold, my mother does have a different biological father! And, three half-siblings, cousins, and grandchildren she had no idea about until a few months ago. If it weren’t for our session with Cheryl, she still would not know about them. This past weekend, my mom got to meet one of her half-brothers. They look so much alike it is mindblowing. Our hearts are full with the potential for getting to know these warm and wonderful “new” family members. The DC Medium, Cheryl, is the real deal. Her gift is true and her heart is good.

The first 50 minites was spent on spirit guides who resemble famous people, and the topics all related to sex……..Information given was totally off the wall and wrong on so many levels. I could have opened YouTube and watched a comedy show for free. I feel bad for my friends who paid $400 to connect with loved ones, just for us to leave shaking our heads…….
Lori G. rated 5 stars on 2/3/2019
Today, our family had the pleasure of having Cheryl meet with us to give a reading and communicate with our loved ones. We were simply amazed at the very special gift that Cheryl has to connect with spirits and angels! For example, Cheryl described our mother’s personality, that she was very chatty, had a cat (Lyle) with her, and had a unique physical characteristic that only our family knew. Also, Cheryl described our father in that he loved to work with his hands, was a veteran, was very direct, had a problem with one of his legs and was very nauseous/sick to his stomach before he passed. All of this was right on!! Cheryl also described my daughter in law’s grandmother to a tee where she was very proper, liked to get her nails done, loved her rose garden, and passed very quickly. We were thrilled to know that these loved ones came to us thru Cheryl and it gave us much needed peace and happiness. We loved their messages! Cheryl also took the time and shared what our spirit guides wanted us to know about our futures, such as retiring, careers, expecting more children, health, communication, etc. This afternoon was truly enriching and we loved knowing our loved ones were with us in spirit! Cheryl is a lovely, warm, and engaging medium who I strongly recommend to anyone who wants to connect with their loved ones. She is patient and kind. She knew things that we were surprised to hear. We recorded our session and can’t wait to listen to it again! Don’t hesitate to make an appointment. You will be so happy you did.

I had an amazing reading with Cheryl! She knew so many personal details that just can’t be guessed or googled. Book a reading with her and you won’t regret it 🙂

With all due respect, I was not impressed. I don’t think she said even one thing accurately. So much has happened in my life and If I had really connected with my loved one, there’s no way that they would not talk about all these things. I was not impressed. Sorry I really wanted to believe her and wish it were true. 🙁

Cheryl is the real deal. I hate that I waited so long to come see her but glad I finally did. She knew details about my loved ones that were impossible for anyone to know, which really just solidified my belief in her and my belief in the practice. Highly recommend!!!!

My first experience with a medium. I got more than what I could have asked for. I drove to her from Laurel, MD after just feeling a good connection with her just over email. She was very nice, welcoming, willing to answer any questions I had. I really got a lot of answers that I feel as though I needed. I will probably come see her again in a few months or so.
John M. rated 5 stars on 12/2/2018
I didn’t really know what to expect but I got more than I bargained for. I have never been to a medium like her before so I didn’t really know what you could or could not do. She was able to accurately describe how some people in my past have died. Some stuff she did get wrong we’re appearances but she was accurately able to describe a lot of their personalities and stuff that made sense to me. She said that my uncle who had recently pasted said that there was something wrong with his gravesite like something was messed up with it. We had to reorder his headstone because the wording was wrong. She gets signs and symbols some of which don’t make to much sense to her so you have to kinda figure out what they are trying to show her. It’s not going to be point blank answers but the stuff she said no one could have known.

My dad, Stanley, was a psychologist and incredibly complicated. He loved us deeply, but he was a habitual liar, even about innocuous things that were easy to dispute. Our small family of my mom, younger brother and I used that to our advantage and he became the scapegoat for our family. That said, we always knew he loved us. When he came through in our reading, he mentioned his “banana nose.” He was very good looking and had a rather large, Greek nose. In the cartoon, Charlie Brown, Snoopy received an award “banana nose dog of the year” and that’s how dad got his nickname. The allusion to a ‘banana,’ demonstrated his love for us and that it continues. He acknowledged his lack of transparency and honesty (albeit not really apologetically) but understood the impact he had on us. And we had the opportunity to tell him how much we really did love him as well. Knowing he could still joke with us about his “banana nose” showed us while he isn’t perfect, he is still dad and always will be.
Marianna N. rated 5 stars on 1/26/2016
For those looking to connect with a loved one who has passed on, I totally recommend Cheryl! She helped me connect with my mother and grandfather. She also gave me valuable information on my children and divine ‘advice’ for my future. Her reading along, with a newfound awareness of life after physical death, has changed my life for the better! I have never been happier and more understanding of the meaning of life and its challenges. I have sent all of my friends, including my daughter, to see her and she has helped them too. She is down to earth and possesses, in my opinion, a true gift from God. She is the real deal folks! No doubt about it!!!!

I had cabin fever from being stuck inside because of the snow. I decided to break up the boredom with a massage. I found a groupon for this place and scheduled a massage right away. Scheduling was easy enough online through the website. I would definitely recommend this place. Nana was amazing! In addition to the massage she did a reading and a energy cleansing even though I only booked a massage. I left feeling relaxed and renewed. I plan to return soon and add this place to my short list of go to places for massages.
Ashley B. rated 5 stars on 10/3/2015
Nana is amazing! This was my first visit and I will most definitely be back. I originally went in for just a deep tissue, not even realizing she had a whole spiritual side to her business. She read things and knew things about me from just my energy, which was literally mind blowing for me! She really focused on all areas I went in for and others I didn’t even know massage therapy helped. I will most definitely be looking into the more spiritual side next time I’m there. I highly recommend her!!

Glad i decided to use Blazer for my PT. We usually took the kids here when they had PT but last time i choose a different provider after shoulder surgery. Now with some very unusual back pain i am glad i am going to Blazers. They have me set up on a good PT plan and i know what the goals are. They based my PT on real good knowledge of what is causing the pain. It is a very unusual cause that is very technical. They understand it. I have seen real good improvement in just 3 visits. I am encouraged i am going in the right direction. Highly recommended.

I would not recommend this therapist. I brought my son here with a muscular disorder and sever’s disease and they never bothered to research his condition to be able to make an appropriate treatment plan. His feet got worse each time after his sessions. They did not respect his request for them NOT to massage his calves. During the massages they would casually chat w their coworkers who were supposed to be working with their own patient. They charge $260 for first visit and $190 for each 30 min session after that where they just asked him to do some stretches. Seems like this place just expects to run bills on peoples insurance plans but has no respect for people that are paying out of pocket.I quit going because after 3 visits it was clear to me they had still not read up on my sons muscular disorder and I did not like the socializing during our sessions. If your charging so much for this 30 min why can’t you talk to your patient and not your friends. This was expensive to me. I guess when it’s insurance paying the bill you don’t care.

Julie Royal has built a thoughtful, kind and expert team. I have been a couple of times for rehabilitation of rotator cuffs in both shoulders, and for recovery after brain surgery, conditions that ranged from chronic to acute. Julie’s expertise in Myofascial Release as well as whole body mechanics makes the key difference in re-gaining my movement, strength and balance amazingly quickly after surgery! They provide take-home exercises to do so I can continue at home. The office and treatment rooms are beautiful and peacefully decorated, with encouraging sayings posted. Plus they have a great music playlist every time. Thank you Julie and team for making physical therapy and recovery fun and empowering!

because of these women and gentlemen, I love yoga, after always being told because of my body type that I wouldn’t look good or fit in certain things or look good doing certain positions at my very first yoga studio the universe led me to one of the best studios. I believe there are around now I have checked out other studios since I’ve been to Haas there’s no environment like us as small as intimate. The instructor wants to be inviting the instructor wants to relate no matter what instructor you have I thoroughly enjoy Simone ‘s class on Saturday mornings and I’m truly eager to get back to them next week if you are looking for that sweat and then shit check out cats class I believe it’s Tuesday morning. She does a few more throughout the week but that chick right there that talk about being snatched she’ll get it done for you. all seriousness Hass yoga is a really really legit judgment free zone. It’s move at your own pace and assistance if you want it.I appreciate Haley for inviting me when she did. It was the perfect opportunity and I sister moment again check out HAUS Yoga on eighth Street whatever your schedule fits I promise you any and every class you walk into at the end of it you’re gonna love it and you’re gonna want to come back and try a new cost to get to know more people Really really great environmentThank you are you lovely instructors in host has yoga, you guys freaking rock !!!

Great spot for some spicy sweaty yoga. I was craving a new studio post Covid and birthing two humans and stumbled upon this place on google maps. What a gem! Studio owner is a delight. Studio is well maintained. Mats are included so I don’t have to lug mine on my half mile hike to the studio. Good vibes. Thrilled to have a place like this in the neighborhood. A+. Five stars. Give it a try!

Great rocket variation yoga classes for experienced yogis. Instructors offer variations and assists. They have cubby holes, a large rest room, and a mat storage room. If you are fatigued with every local yoga class catering to either beginners or acrobats, try this studio. That said, Haus definitely takes time for arm balances and headstands. They just do a slightly better job at integrating them into the class, rather than declaring: now, it is handstand time! They did not offer a studio tour. It appears that mats are free, no filtered water available, no showers, non cork yoga mats. You have to leave your shoes outside of the studio on the landing. Another DC studio priced to favor membership without offering a lot of classes. So one class is $25 (without promos or deals), but a monthly unlimited option is around $116/month with 2 weeks notice to cancel. A woman made a homophobic remark to a small group, including an instructor, on our way out of the studio. May not be an LGBTQIA friendly studio, may just be that woman really really wanting us to know she is not queer.

I worked with Kris after having shoulder surgery to repair a torn labrum that I dislocated playing basketball.Kris is an expert when it comes to shoulder injuries. Not only did he come up with a comprehensive plan to rehabilitate my shoulder without re injuring it, he also spent a lot of time going through what I should be doing at home. Kris was always re-evaluating my treatment and treated the other muscles in my back that were not “firing” properly after my surgery. The Jackson Clinics are set up as a team format. You spend half an hour 1 on 1 with your therapist and then half an hour with Jonah (or one of the other assistants). Jonah was also very helpful and knowledgeable and the system worked extremely well for my injury.I would recommend Kris and Jonah to family and friends.

Without making a good faith effort to collect bills from their clients, they wait until the right time and then, with their attorneys, sue their clients. All of our bills were paid, and somehow, a balance of $161 was left. We were sued for it, and when we asked their attorney, he charged us $327.82, which included 18% interest, attorney fees, court fees, and a credit card processing fee. After looking at other reviews, it seems they intentionally target minority and immigrant communities, thinking that such individuals might not have the means to fight the lawsuit and will be frightened enough to pay whatever this business decides to charge them. We highly advise you not to do business with such an unethical entity. Thank you.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the team at Jackson Clinic in Merrifield. I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my hip and referred for physical therapy. I googled around a bit and selected Jackson Clinic. Emily was my physical therapist and I worked with exercise specialists Jimena, Olga and Candy. After a thorough assessment, I went for therapy twice a week and was given exercises to do at home. After four months, my hip pain was significantly abated. Emily always had time for questions and provided so many helpful suggestions. Jimena, Olga and Candy encouraged and supported me along the way.SUCH a great facility, I highly recommend!!

The main distinguishing feature at Jackson Clinics is that they pair you with a physical therapist for ~25 minutes to massage your injured joint/limb, and once your joint/limb is loosened/relaxed, you’re paired with a sports therapist for 30-60 minutes of working that joint/limb out. This is in contrast to most PT facilities which assign you to a therapist (shared with others) for 45 minutes of exercise (and no one-on-one massage time). You do share your sports therapist for 2-3 other people, but in my experience, this hasn’t been a problem because you’re usually occupied for a few minutes performing each exercise before returning to the sports therapist for a new exercise. Prices depend on your insurance, but for me (with 90% of the negotiated rate covered), I paid about $12 a session. It is a little frustrating that the price varies each session, depending on whether they’ve educated you or not, and how long you spent with the sports therapist, but the price does work out close to their initial estimate. Their administrative aspects are excellent. Hours accommodate people with jobs in DC (opening at 7AM), and they’re open until 7PM Monday through Thursday. You get an email notification 24 hours before your appointment, and the staff (especially Jonathan) is on top of things. When my PT prescription was close to running out, they called my doctor for me to get a new prescription without even bothering me with this administrative issue. Also, the first day you show up, they provide a sheet with an estimate of how much you’ll pay each session (which has been pretty accurate for me).I had a good experience at the Jackson Clinic in Merrifield, but one thing that might matter to others is that the staff seems to be on the younger side – you won’t see anyone with grey hair here. I didn’t feel like I lost out on anything, but figured I’d mention that in case you’re one of those people who wants to work with someone that has decades of experience.

I sprained my ankle twice while hiking down a mountain summit at night in the middle of March 21. It wasn’t until 4 months later that I started physical therapy and was recommended to Jackson Clinics in Fairfax. Logan and Bryan worked with me for 3 month to strengthen my ankle with various exercises. I noticed an improvement after working with them for the given amount of time and am much more comfortable moving around now when I’m outdoors, compared to when I first started PT with limited mobility. They’re fantastic! Logan is very perceptive and is patient with working with your injury while listening to any concerns related. Definitely recommend her. Bryan is wonderful – he’s able to guide you through exercise routines ensuring that you’re doing them properly. Ask for them if you ever visit. You will not be disappointed.

GRADE: F – (based on their cancellation policy)Long story short, I started PT following surgery. People raved about The Jackson Clinic and their knowledgeable kind staff. But did it live up to the hype? Depends how you look at it. While MOST of the staff was indeed nice– I experienced a few “displeasing” incidents. Like the time their male receptionist called me, as I was on my way to the office, to inform me that I was 15 minutes late– with a cold tone in his voice, might I add. But in actuality, and I had a printout, my appointment was 15 minutes later than he proposed. He knew he had messed up because when I arrived he apologized after seeing the printout and quote on quote said “now I feel like a complete (insert the A word here).” Either way, was that a way to speak to a patient? No sir, it was NOT.But the biggest issue I have– considering I’ve worked in many doctor offices before — is the lack of understanding their cancellation policy takes into consideration. Or should I say the Office Manager? I work for a media outlet and my schedule has required me to adjust my appointments super last minute. That’s just how the media world works– we can’t control breaking news! But their “Office Manager” does NOT take that into consideration, despite my constant communication with the team. Instead, they’re quick to slap that “No Show Fee” because forget your problems, they don’t have worries since you’re still paying them via NSF. As if I already don’t have other bills to pay post-surgery. Yes guys, make MY life easier by throwing in MORE worries. Nothing say’s “I care about your health” more than a doctor’s bill does. If you’re looking to make an appointment here, GOD FORBID you have a last minute emergency at work/home because you WILL be reprimanded for basically having a life.Like I said, I’ve worked in many doctor offices before and I’m happy to say ALL the locations I worked at ALWAYS found some way to work with billing and their patients– unlike the Jackson Clinic.

Went there with full 50% tear of rotator cuff to try to avoid surgery. My two primary therapists were Conor & Adam, and both were great. They worked in tandem to get the most out of each session. Doctor decided that after about 12 sessions PT should take a back seat to exercising at home (& using a couple machines at the gym) since my range of motion had improved significantly. Not sure how that will play out in the future, but I would not hesitate to return if needed. And a shout out to POTUS the therapy dog.

I have just started to come here and the staff is extremely nice and helpful. The therapist kept it real with me about getting better. I have a weird injury that rarely happens to others and not sure how long it will take to get better. I was told it will probably be a month with me coming two times a week.

Personally I don’t think anyone can comment on the treatment style of 30 minutes with your therapist for 1-1 and 30 minutes of supervised exercises while working with the next patient UNLESS YOU OWN A COMPANY THAT TAKES INSURANCE !!!!! So read that stance again- this practice TAKES INSURANCE. For most people that means nothing- there’s an assumption of we have insurance so a practices should take it. As an insurance accepting practice myself- that is NOT how it works. Small medical practice’s (solo woman owned / mom and pop establishments etc like this one)- take a HUGE hit when accepting insurance contracts for their reimbursement. At this point many small business are getting paid HALF of what their cash only / self pay only counterparts are getting paid. Also- keep in mind, an insurance contract doesn’t increase with inflation, cost of living, rising employer salaries etc…. I give the business lesson because it’s only fair for people to be informed as to why a business structure is what it is for the sake of survival… Now on to the actual PRACTITIONERS- this staff is honestly saving people from surgeries, worsening conditions, and maladaptive body patterns… I’ve been working with them for 8-9 years and my mom now drives from VA to go to them as well. They’re priceless in their cleanliness, knowledge, anatomy and functionality awareness plus FULL body attention. I cannot express how many times a DOCTOR or SURGEON has sent me in for an issue- and they’ve figured out it’s stemming from somewhere totally different ! They also are certified to do dry needling and that’s PRICELESS !!

This review is for the H street location. They double book, so you can expect maybe 30 minutes of one-on-one time with your therapist, then for the remainder you’ll just paying for a space to do the exercises you do at home. The therapist are all very nice and know their stuff and consult with each other for treatment. The billing department is the worst. She make errors you have to call the insurance company to correct. She can’t explain anything. She can’t print detailed invoices required for my FSA card in a timely manner like every other drs office I go to.

This review is for their Mass Ave locationBefore I start the review, let me disclose a few facts:1. I have been a patient at this location for 9 months2. I came in suffering from a very bad neck pain3. When I came for my diagnosis, I was in a lot of pain and did paper work / signed documents for more than 10 pages. When I came in today, they asked me to pay a late cancellation fee. I was not aware that they had a late cancellation fee and when I called last Friday to move my appoint (not cancel) they told me I was already booked for the following week and was set. No one on the phone mentioned to me that I will be charged $35 for the cancelled appointment. If they had told me that, I would have moved around my plans to make the appointment. When I told them that I wasn’t aware of the policy, the pulled out the waiver from 9 months ago, where I signed amongst a sea of paper one page with a line that said they charged cancellation fee. When I mentioned that it wasn’t told to me when I called, I was told it was all hearsay, in addition to being belittled by saying “I always read what I sign” and “We don’t know if you would have chosen to come–you say that now” and “all doctor’s offices have a cancellation fee”. To say the least, the person was rude and unempathetic. They were inflexible and unapologetic and clearly don’t care about customer service. Clearly, they wanted to charge the fee even if it meant losing a valuable customer.Needless to say, I asked them to cancel all my future appointments and that I will be leaving the practice considering how I was treated and the inflexibility of the practice. In 9 months, I had 0 no-shows and 2 “late” cancellations, neither of which I was informed were late. What amazes me is that if I was the owner of the business, I would have shown flexibility and empathy given a one-time $35 is not worth losing a customer who at least would bring in $150 per visit–I probably had more than 30 sessions in the last 9 months, equally at least $4500. It seems crazy to me that the staff would make a decision that would cost the business a lot of money, in addition to providing bad customer service.I liked my therapist, so it is a shame that their professionalism is forcing me to go somewhere else.

When I was seriously injured in an accident, I am so very glad I chose Dr. Sarah Weimer at Washington Wellness (Mass Ave location) to help me recover. Selecting a physical therapist is a big deal, and it’s not easy if you have not had prior experience. I’m doing really well thanks to Sarah’s expertise, patience, and commitment to my recovery and the support of the entire team. The entire office is welcoming and patient-focused.Various PTs from other organizations had helped me before and after several surgeries, during my stays in three hospitals and also during months healing at home, but I didn’t feel as though I had a trusted partner to lead me through my recovery until Dr. W/Wash Wellness took me on as a patient. My recovery required rehabilitating joints and limbs, but because I had been on my back and then in a wheelchair for months (ugh!) we also had to strengthen my other muscles that had weakened. What a journey it has been!I recommend Dr. W/WW because you should select a PT with training and credentials and also who is passionate about healing, problem solving and guiding you to your best self. Because you should choose an expert PT that you feel comfortable with, who listens patiently and understands your non-expert descriptions, and who explains things clearly. Someone who shares your therapeutic goals, celebrates your successes and who knows when you can do more! There might be some days when you aren’t feeling motivated, and a therapist who shares your goals or wants you to accomplish your personal best will keep you on track.Good luck with your PT and I know you will have as great an experience at Washington Wellness as I have had!

Ok gotta admit I have been at WWPT longer than most patients.. not because my recovery takes long but because I COMPLETELY TRUST them to treat my different injuries… I might err in the side of accident prone and extreme sports may not necessarily help this. Obviously based on the above I have seen many different PTs through the years (hope my insurance isn’t reading this) and I really have to highlight the attention and care I have gotten at WWPT.Won’t go into detail of the treatments but both @Lauren and @Michelle have been AMAZING!They really take their time with the patient they are treating and take the time to understand any pain points and try to figure out with you things that might be aggravating that body part. By really understanding what’s going on they have been able to give me some advice on things to change or to look out for besides my at home exercises. Their advice has really prevented me from reinjuring myself during my crazy adventures. Regarding the exercises, gotta give them major props because unlike other PTs I have been to, they really work with you as you do them. They are always on the looking out for form. Not only are they keeping an eye on you but @Bria is always there to help you as well. Oh and needles… boy am I glad they are certified to do dry needling! If they offer if.. do it! It’s a bit uncomfortable but what a different this makes. Overall, I have to say my experience has been 5 stars!… from the environment … even to the not so easy insurance claims. Even for that they are highly efficient. It’s amazing to see my claims being processed with such quickness and not having to worry about that at all.If you are looking for PTs, make sure to go to WWPT and ask for Lauren or Michelle.

I chose this place because of the good ratings on yelp and I’m really glad I got treated here because before coming to WWPT I didn’t know what was a good physical therapist. I was treated by Mary Jean for two seperate injuries and she was spectacular. She is friendly and knowledgeable. She explained a lot about the muscle groups relating to my pain and symptoms and she taught me how to manage my chronic low back pain. I would deduct a half of a star because one staff person is quite rude. I came in three times a week, and I whenever I had a payment issue, the staff person would often raise her voice at me so other people would hear. I also saw this happening to another patient who interacted with her.

I can’t speak highly enough about all of the staff at Washington Wellness PT! At the beginning of the summer, I was told by my Orthopedic Surgeon that BOTH of my hips had to be replaced, as I was literally bone-on-bone and in excruciating pain. My Dr assigned me to 3 weeks of PT prior to my first surgery, and then had me continue PT 3 times a week, from the day I got home from surgery. From the very beginning, I’ve been working with lead therapist Kelly Leininger, and she has been amazing! Kelly’s no-nonsense approach has been instrumental in my recovery and rehabilitation of BOTH hips. I’ve been diligent in following her prescribed exercises at home as well. Because of this, my recovery from my first hip replacement went so well, that my surgeon scheduled the second surgery 2 months to the day from the first one (when he originally told me that it would 3-4 months between surgeries).Last week, just 6 weeks Post-Op from my 2nd surgery, my Dr gave me the “all clear” and said that my recovery from both surgeries has been so good that I should be the Poster Child for Hip Replacement Surgery! I truly attribute this to all the work I did in physical therapy with Kelly at Washington Wellness.I’d also love to give a shout-out to front-desk staff – Kevin and Ashley who are friendly, welcoming, and know how to navigate the world of health insurance coverage! And the PT assistants Derek and Bria are wonderful as well – helping out with exercise coaching, or assisting with heat treatment at the end of each session. All in all, I highly recommend Washington Wellness. They have truly given me new life! After nearly 6 months of seeing everyone at Washington Wellness numerous times a week, my PT sessions are coming to a close, as everything that I’ve been taught can now be transferred to traditional workouts in a gym. Unbelievably, I’m sad to say goodbye to everyone there.

I started going to see Lauren at Washington Wellness PT after she was recommended to me by a friend. I can’t say enough good things about the practice or Lauren herself as a practitioner. The office is located in as convenient location as you can ask for, right in Metro Center. It’s a brightly lit facility, and it is very clean and has excellent equipment. The hours are incredibly convenient. Lauren has helped me literally get back on my feet after a knee injury, working with me to figure out a rehab schedule and program that I can do easily at the gym or at home. Additionally, it’s certainly significant that she’s a people person and is very good at reading her patients. She’s very encouraging and works well to keep her patients happy and focused. If you need PT, give them a try!
Sian F. rated 5 stars on 2/14/2015
I can’t say enough about the treatment I received from Lauren. I herniated a disk in my lower back, and was in significant pain. I was depressed and unable to exercise because I wasn’t sure how to deal with my injury. I was referred to Washington Wellness by my primary care doctor. I completed my treatment with Lauren this week after several months of therapy and dry needling for my back, and I twisted an ankle in course of treatment, and she was able to help that get better as well. Lauren is a true master at what she does, and honestly, if it wasn’t for her, I would still be sitting on my couch in pain and depressed. Instead, my back feels 100% now, and I started a rigorous workout routine to get back into shape with zero pain. If you need PT, please go to Washington Wellness and see Lauren – you will not regret it! THANK YOU LAUREN!

I could not be happier with the service and results I received from my physical therapist, Lauren O’Shea. When I first came in, I was convinced I had done permanent damage to my hip and glute after running a strenuous half marathon that left any distance longer than a short walk painful and irritating, completely altering my formerly active lifestyle. I waited 9 months before finally seeking care at Washington Wellness. Lauren worked her magic, and after 6 months of hard work loosening and strengthening my muscles, I was able to safely and comfortably run a half marathon again. A year later I ran a full marathon and trained using the exercises and advice that Lauren equipped me with during my PT. I highly recommend her services to anyone recovering from a sports injury! She knows what she’s doing and will hold you accountable, ensuring that you see results.

As a physician who had to retire early due to a severe back injury and then a car accident from someone running a red light, I have received biweekly PT for years. It was not until I began therapy at Rockville PT that I truly began to have an improvement in function. Initially I was unable to tolerate even 5 minutes on an exercise bike. Now I can work out for 45 minutes!!! I will always have nerve damage, muscle atrophy, and pain, however my ability to function–drive, cook, & walk has improved immensely since receiving PT from Dr Chinh Le. The atmosphere in the office is relaxed, the people that work there are gems, and it’s definitely not like many other PT offices that are essentially assembly lines. We joke and say it’s like the “Cheers” of physical therapy. If you want to feel better, have functional improvement, and enjoy your therapy, Rockville PT is the place to be.

Run, don’t walk to Ho and Chin and their team if you need physical therapy. This place will help you heal. Two key elements of this PT practice that make them stand out:1. They love the science behind what it is they do, and use it to heal your body. Dry needling, blading, assisting your body to move incrementally with support, even massage — they use a wide range of tools from their expansive toolkit based on what your body needs. I especially enjoyed the explanations from Dr. Ho to my endless questions about what he was doing and why it works. His mastery of anatomy, physiology, and PT was evident every time I went. With just a few touches, Ho could pinpoint exactly where my pain was and address it appropriately. 2. The support staff is competent, helpful, and friendly. Ora and Justin were encouraging and provided excellent guidance for my exercises. Scheduling and billing was easy and pleasant. While I am not in need of PT now, I will be a client for life and will hightail it back to Rockville Physical Therapy the next time I do.

I have had occasion to refer to Dr. Le three times. I am a Yoga, Pilates and meditation teacher with a studio in Rockville. When prospects come to me with aches and pains, I need them to be well before they start a yoga or pilates regimen. In all instances where I have referred to Dr. Le at Rockville Physical Therapy, my clients have had positive experiences and have felt their bodies (and minds) to be quickly improved as a result of seeing Dr. Le or his colleague.I want you all to know that the services provided by Rockville PT are raved about by my students — something everyone should know!

I’m so thankful for the help Rockville PT has given me in gaining my mobility back after my Achilles injury. The sessions each week have helped me to build the strength and dexterity in my left leg. I’m hoping to get cleared to run again. Both Mr. Chase and Dr. Le. are knowledgeable and friendly. I’ve enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff are all awesome as well.

As the time of this review, I have visited 6 times. Dr. Le within 3 weeks helped my left arm feels and functions 90% better and the injury to my left deltoid is 100% better..I don’t even notice it anymore. His assistant Aria is sweet and caring. They always seem to go above and beyond to care for their patients. The place is spacious and everyone spreads out. I also saw a patient having treatments done in a private room. I absolutely loved coming here! I had six different visits to improve chronic shoulder pain and it was well worth it. I saw Tarik every time and I would highly recommend him. My shoulder was much improved and he had great bedside manner. The facilities are always very clean and orderly. The building is easy to find.I was always taken promptly and never had any difficulty scheduling an appointment that met my scheduling needs (tricky with my two jobs!). Everyone else working there is incredibly pleasant and professional. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and I loved going. We realized that my insurance covered more of the total bill than initially believed and they issued me a refund for the difference within two days– SUPER FAST! I really appreciated their prompt attention to my billing inquiry. If I ever need PT again, I would gladly come back here!

The staff here is so kind and caring. It’s unbelievable how hands are they are when attending to my ailments. I’ve been to physical therapy before in the same office park and it was nothing like Rockville PT. The thing is, I didn’t know till I came here. The dry needling is helping a lot. Don’t come to physical therapy in a rush, it doesn’t work. Over the last three months they have helped me reduce my neck pain from a 8 to a 2/3ish. The time they take is above and beyond.

As a management consultant, I often view businesses beyond just being a customer, client or patient. I look at the processes, the people and the quality of the product or service being offered. I am often appalled at how bad one or more of these criteria are executed by companies big and small. As for Rockville Physical Therapy, they pass all criteria with flying, five star grades! I have been using their services for post spinal surgery and neuropathy rehab, including dry needling, weekly for the past seven months. My improvement in mobility and pain reduction has been remarkable and substantial.Dr. Chinh, and every single person on his staff, are outstanding. All of them have mastered how to be totally professional as well as genuinely caring and friendly. Chinh is totally knowledgeable and I have grown to fully trust his evaluations and recommendations for treatment. I found Rockville Physical Therapy via Yelp and wanted to add my experiences and opinions here on Yelp to help others benefit from this great organization.

Dr. Chinh Le and his staff are a talented team working therapeutically to provide the best outcomes . This is evidenced each visit . Without any reservation I am convinced there is no ”healer ‘ who compares with Dr. Le’s exceptional skills to alleviate the pain associated with my diagnosis of fibromyalgia and osteoporosis. In short , Dr. Chinh Le ,the pt team and administrative staff are professionals who truly care about me .
