I cannot day enough about Mel. My daughter in her teens with cancer had a terrible outcome with her surgery. Mel not only gave me peace of mind but he inspired me to hope and work towards more healing, more growing and more living. Wow, Mel was FANTASTIC. He started out my session by being friendly welcoming and he immediately went into details that no one would have known. He also connected with my grandmother who had a very important message for me regarding my personal life, and I was floored. I have had the privilege of seeing Mel for over 2 years now and go to him every 3 months. I wanted to update my review due to the last line I wrote in the original. Aria is simply a “good bet” for anyone wanting a reading that produces results. She knows what she’s doing. She treats her business as a business. Which means, she understands people are counting on her to produce results in a professional manner (and much more). She is the real deal. I know that when I purchase a reading with her- I’m getting results that I can trust. There’s lots of people entering this field as of late. Aria has been doing this for years and years. So my advice- go with a pro(Aria). I get she’s not the “cheapest.” But honestly- I think it’s just a bad idea to shop for a psychic based on which one gives you the best deal (or free). Value based readings have their place. Some are fabulous. But if you’re like me- I want to KNOW that I’m getting quality and will absolutely pay for that. No one could charge higher prices if they weren’t sure of their abilities and have a client base that agrees. Like… a crappy lawyer can’t charge big bucks and expect to stay in business. I started my call with Aria and i was anxious as hell, tightness all in my back, neck and shoulders. Aria understood everything I was looking to learn about, she was kind, sensitive to my needs and my anxiety… she delivered her answers confidently and was honest on everything she could feel and couldn’t. I have been in contact with Aria for about a year and half. She is fantastic!! Called her before changing careers, and she helped me make the right choice. Booking with her is super easy as well. She gets right back to you right away and once you schedule, she calls at your appointed time right on time. The first appointment I made was a longer 30min phone appt. Sometimes if I am facing a challenge and want to contact her, I drop her an email and schedule a 15 min. which is usually done within the week. She is right on all the time. Aria will tell you exactly what you need to hear. Highly recommended. Super easy to book. Very Reasonable rates. Accurate and to the point. Will probably be checking in with her soon again.

I had a fabulous experience at this Athletico.Andrew’ was my therapist and he is the best therapist I’ve ever had. I have severe back pain so I spent close to 8!months. In that time span I got strong. Andrew was so patient.entertaining and pushed me appropriately. I can’t walk on my own. So I got this stand up walker and began walking at least 4 to 5 times a week a week and lost 50lbs and still going for it. I had a really positive experience and learned how to work with my pain. I came to Athletico Andersonville South with a elbow injury a few weeks before a big hiking trip to Peru. I was bummed, expecting the injury to ruin my trip, but thanks to Tuan I was back to nearly 100% before leaving! Like others, I was very pleased with both my treatment here and the results. I deliberately waited several weeks prior to posting a review, to assess the longer term results. Nicholas was very professional, explained each step of the process, and answered even newbie questions kindly. The registration, appointment, and billing process was smooth as silk.I’m a geezer who’d like to stay active but an old shoulder injury had resulted in chronic pain that demanded OTC pain relief. My doc recommended a trial with PT prior to referral to an orthopaedist. Nick assessed the likely problem as tightness from constantly guarding the shoulder against the pain, and over a few weeks of strengthening and stretching, the problem diminished almost completely. [I did follow all his recommendations for exercises to do at home without fail.] Several weeks later, the problem hasn’t recurred and I’m now back to gentle resistance training, and recently laid a block patio and built a 12 foot gate across the driveway with nothing worse than sore muscles for a few days. Your mileage may vary, but I’d certainly recommend giving Nick and the other folks at this office a chance to examine and treat your issues.

I highly recommend this Athletico location. The entire staff is amazing, kind, and helpful. They really care about their patients and patients’ progress. I went in for neck and lower back issues and they helped me tremendously. Gena Schildt is the therapist I saw and she is outstanding, as well as the rest of the staff. If you are in the area and are in the need of PT, I highly recommend this location and team. They will help set you on the right path for healing.

Like others, I had a great experience at Athletico – Andersonville South. I hurt myself lifting during the summer of Covid. For months, I woke every morning with a painful, stiff neck. In early 2021, I finally decided to do something about it. Enter Athletico and its great staff. A few months later, my neck is much better and I have restful nights of sleep.Everyone at Athletico Andersonville South is friendly and knowledgeable. Frances will greet you at the door with a smile. All of the PTs and PT assistants are friendly and focused on your well-being. While I had a few different PTs, I worked mostly with Mike. I highly recommend both Mike and this Athletico location.

I highly recommend Athletico – Andersonville South! My back pain was somewhere in between ‘surgery not recommended’ and ‘standard treatment does not work’ and so I’ve had many other physical therapists and chiropractors in the past that told me there was nothing else they could do. I went to Athletico as a last effort and I am really glad I did! They never gave up on me, and now I live with very minimal to no pain. I worked with Mike specifically, but everyone there is wonderful from the other physical therapists to the aides. The at-home exercise plan Mike created for me helps me to stay pain free even now that I have ended my treatment there.

I had such a great experience at this Athletico location. The team is extremely professional, efficient, and kind. I worked with Gena for a knee injury. I went to her weekly for a couple months and she provided a progression of helpful exercises that ultimately left my knee feeling much better. She is obviously very knowledgeable and professional, creating a detailed and personalized plan to my injury. I also worked with Nick who is great as well! The team does a great job of knowledge sharing if you need to go in on a day where your regular PT is out. One of the things I really admire about this location is how efficient they are. With a busy schedule, this was very important for me. There is a regular rotation of warm up, analysis, exercises, and stretches that you follow with your physical therapist. They meet with a couple clients during the hour that you are there, but they do it in such an efficient and personalized manner. I never felt that Gena left my side, even when she was with other clients. She was always actively involved with my entire session. From conversation, it sounds like the team does continuous learning by attending workshops for new techniques and training. Appreciate that Athletico supports them in these activities. My favorite thing about the location was the staff. Gena was patient, kind, and friendly. It made therapy enjoyable meeting a friend every week. Also want to acknowledge the front desk and PT support stuff. They are incredible as well. The support staff is friendly as they help you with your exercises. Highly recommend this location if you need PT help.

My first experience with Athletico in 2006 was at the Andersonville-North location (5554 N Clark St). But when I pulled a muscle in my back most recently, I tried the 5033 N Clark location a few block South. Over the past decade the rising cost of healthcare have must have necessitated changes to how Athletico delivers out-patient physical therapy. Within that time frame Athletico also acquired numerous other PT chains, expanding their reach in Chicago and many other states. Between that expansion as well as rising costs in PT service delivery, the treatment I received at Athletico for my lower back muscle pain in 2016 was discernibly different than 2006. In 06, I was treated by a series of professionals from massage therapists to Doctors of Physical Therapy. Whatever the intervention, all services were delivered one on one in an atmosphere that was unrushed . In 2016, I was assigned to a very knowledgable and competent therapist . He was working within the parameters set by the corporate office. Biggest difference was that Athletico policy now has the therapists booked in time increments. On each of my visits, the therapists were frequently treating 2 patients simultaneously. Bottom line, my recent experience with Athletico felt more like an assembly line approach rather than individualized therapy. It is clear that in order to survive the changes in our healthcare system, outpatient orthopedic clinics will need to create value for patients in the services they provide, yet cut the costs. Its a major dilemma. Athletico has clearly requested that their Physical Therapists provide care and treatment modalities that are more efficient and cost effective. The key to being successful however, is service delivery without sacrificing the quality of the patient experience.

My physical therapist, Joe Monaco was absolutely terrific. I went to him for a couple of months because I couldn’t lift my leg in the air and do my stairs. If anyone is looking for a great physical therapist, this is the place for you. My physical therapist, Joe Monaco, was fantastic. Before starting treatment, he took the time to complete a thorough evaluation to understand symptoms related to nerve pain/ bulging discs in my lower back. Everyone at this practice is welcoming, caring, and supportive. The treatment allowed me to not only get back on my feet but to get back to normal activities “pain free” in a lot less time than expected. Highly recommend Joe, Catie, and this practice.

I was very pleased with Athletico’s therapy sessions and the ultimate results I attained. I went there because of severe pain in my leg (stemming from back pain), and from the assessment I received until the very last session, the staff was exceptional. Sammi is an excellent therapist. He was invested in his work with me, his extensive knowledge is obvious (and very much appreciated), he was upbeat and encouraging. I didn’t think I’d enjoy my therapy sessions, but I did and looked forward to each session. My pain gradually receded and, within three months, the pain was gone completely. All the therapists are very good, and the vibe at Northbrook’s Athletico was always friendly and pleasant. I recommend the Northbrook branch of Athletico wholeheartedly.

SCAM AND OVERCHARGE. EVERYONE BE AWARE AND ASK BEFORE YOU COME FOR VISITS. Came to Athletico with a knee issue to get some relief before the surgery. First appointment went fine, however no financial info was given to me as far as the cost for the first or follow up appointments. I went for second appointment and that’s when things got strange. I had zero time with PT person. I was given a table and then receptionist girl was relaying instructions from PT person who was in the room with another person. That’s seemed wildly odd. Things got worse when I got my bill for these 2 appointments. I was billed $469 for first and $409 for second visits. That’s higher than many lawyers fees or even orthopedics fees for office visit. THIS IS CRAZY. Especially I was upset about the second visit where I self-served myself. After insurance adjustment I am still asked to pay $354.47. NO WAY. I called to discuss with billing office and they just brushed me off. I offered to pay for first visit as it actually resembled a visit but I object paying for the second one. They declined that offer. I would hate this to go to collections but out of principle this is wrong. SCAM AND OVERCHARGE. EVERYONE BE AWARE AND ASK BEFORE YOU COME FOR VISITS.

As much as I dislike P.T., this facility makes it easy. Kaitlin has been my main therapist but I have seen several others when Kaitlin was out of town or had a day off. I never would have been able to bend my knee after total knee replacement surgery if it wasn’t for Kaitlin. She is patient but knows when to push me. She has a sixth sense about what will be uncomfortable and how I’m feeling. It’s a busy facility but Kaitlin gives me the time and attention I need, always making sure I’m doing an exercise right even when she’s working with another patient. I’m almost at the end of my P.T. except for doing exercises at home but I never could have gotten here with Kaitlin’s help.

I give Athletico high marks as a PT facility. The staff is excellent, listens well, conscientious, well trained, highly capable and takes high interest in patient. The facility is well organized, open, clean, and well located in downtown NB. I worked with Ben and he is an excellent PT, across multiple knowledge areas and helped me greatly. Also worked with other PT staff on occasion and found them all to be very helpful and professional also, very good marks across the board.

No one wants to go to PT, but sometimes you have no choice. The folks at this place make it as enjoyable as possible. More importantly, they fix the problem. I developed knee pain, so I eventually went to a doctor (Dr. Lanoff in Vernon Hills – great doctor) who referred me to Athletico in Northbrook. He specifically told me to see Jeff or Ben at this location. I know why – because they are both excellent therapists. I saw Jeff for the initial consult/intake, but Ben was my primary therapist for scheduling reasons. Both are excellent and did a great job helping me strengthen my leg and helping my knee pain. Ben explained everything, answered all my questions and gave me great suggestions for things I could do at home to keep my knee in good shape and avoid another injury. Everyone there was friendly and helpful and the place is clean. (They play good music, too.) They were flexible when I needed to change appointments due to work commitments. I am very appreciative of everything they did to help me and if I ever need PT again, I know where to go. I also like the location – centrally located in downtown Northbrook with lots of parking in the back.

I had my reservations about seeing a psychic but after visiting with Michael, all of those doubts disappeared. I was truly blown away by the amount of detail that Michael was able to give me. I believe people should take things like this with a grain of salt but there is no way anyone could have known some of the things that Michael knew. I had to fight back tears several times during my reading because it was so powerful. If you have any interest at all in having a psychic reading, definitely do yours with Michael. He has a very kind and calming energy. I felt a lot of compassion and deep understanding while speaking with him as well. He was very patient and allowed me to ask questions at the end of my reading. Michael is amazing! Just had my third reading with him and this time I brought my father, and almost 81-year-old very Catholic skeptic. He was so spot on with the specifics that he impressed him. It’s also to explain it in a way my father understood that you can believe in this gift, his vision and inside and still be true to your personal faith. Michael is a faithful man himself. He provides such peace, comfort and in some ways closure. I think he is an angel on earth and I always feel calmer, more serene and peaceful after one of our sessions. He has shown me that I can talk to my beautiful mama on a regular basis and that she and other dearly departed loved ones are always with me. My friend had a medium party with Michael last month and I went in having zero idea what to expect, just going for the fun of it. There was some confusion on the time apparently a scheduling conflict made by his assistant so we were all left waiting for a few hours after the scheduled start time. It was fine for me because I cleared my schedule to hang out with my friends the whole day, but several people couldn’t make it or had to leave and were not able to have their time. He did compensate and say we could each take $5 off our reading. It costs $45 for a reading that’s about 20 minutes. We had about 20 people and everyone came out bawling, in shock, in awe – I was freaked out waiting for my turn. When my turn finally came, I went in and without going into too many details, it was pretty cool. He said some detailed things that freaked me out but also I wish some things were touched on that weren’t. Over all though, a very cool experience and a fun time.Check out his website, have a medium party with friends! I didn’t walk away completely believing but it did give me a closure I was looking for. Go for nothing more than the entertainment aspect and you’ll have a good time!

I have been trying to schedule a Medium seminar in my home for over a month now, originally I was asked to provide possible dates, I sent three dates and was told he was unavailable, I replied that I would accept the first earliest possible date he was available and would work from there, I have never received a response. I have tried calling numerous times during business hours, only to get a voicemail box that is full. I am very frustrated, a very dear friend of mine recently lost her brother and was hoping she might be able to receive some measure of peace, but at this rate it is never going to happen.

Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff, it can be a busy location, but they do their best to treat you in the time they have. I had a glute/hip injury prior to and finishing a marathon. Chrissy, did a great job of starting me on some strengthening exercises for my weak hips/glutes and continued to check on my progress throughout my treatment, even after I stopped treatment. I am almost back to 100%, and I know that Athletico and their staff did their best to make that happen. Be prepared to work and be patient!

I have had both occupational therapy and physical therapy at Athletico. I have returned to this location 4 times after various surgeries for pre-surgery therapy and post-surgery therapy. The reason I keep coming back is because the therapists are very, very good at what they do. If you follow their advice and do your at home exercises, you will be in great shape by the time you have completed your 3-6 weeks. How far you come is up to you, do your at home exercises!! The staff truly cares about you and your improvement, not only when you are there for treatment but also with your at home care and progression. I have worked with Joe and Nikko and both are phenomenal. The entire staff is great and everyone is friendly and upbeat.

I injured my right thigh pretty severely (moderately severe quadriceps tear & hematoma from a bad fall) & needed physical therapy. I read some reviews of various locations & this one was rated very highly, so I decided to schedule my therapy here. It also happened to be a perfect location for me, more or less halfway between work & home. I have to say, the reviews were spot on. All the therapists were very knowledgeable & I was treated with the utmost courtesy & care. They listened to my needs & made sure none of the exercises were too taxing or painful (I had very limited range of motion when I first came in), but gradually increased things as I improved. Nico, Terence, Christie, Monica & everyone else were just wonderful to deal with & made me feel 100% comfortable. They really do tailor your treatment to your specific needs & abilities. My experience was outstanding & I am now almost 100% recovered after just 4 weeks (3X / wk) of treatment. Believe me, I never could’ve imagined I’d progress that far that fast. I would definitely recommend Athletico in Wheeling to anyone needing physical therapy.

I came here for knee pain that I was having. While they did a good job with the diagnosis and initial treatment plan, after the second visit, I basically could do everything they wanted me to do on my own at home. However,they wanted me to continue coming in 2-3x a week. On my sixth and final visit, the pt literally just walked around as I did exercises and provided no advice or guidance. Very unhappy with the service and experience I had there.

My family and I have been attending Championship Martial Arts (CMA) since August of 2022. We are an obese middle-aged woman, a fit middle-aged man, and a healthy 8-year-old girl. CMA offers mixed martial arts instruction with a focus on Karate and Taekwondo, as well as on general fitness and physical conditioning. Children’s classes: All of the instructors are knowledgeable, passionate, and encouraging. The two main instructors, Master Sanjin (head instructor) and Master Miller (owner) do a wonderful job of attending to all students and making sure each is progressing to the best of his/her abilities. They adapt their instruction to the age, maturity, and skill level of the students. This thoughtful approach has resulted in our daughter building precision in her movements, power in her kicks and punches, and confidence when sparring. We also like the character development instruction that takes place weekly where the instructors lead a guided discussion of that month’s topic (gratitude, respect, kindness, etc.), and advise students on how to incorporate activities supporting that topic into their daily lives. All of the above, coupled with the frequent and fun community-building activities that CMA hosts (Back to School party, Trunk-or-Treat, Graduation ceremonies, Holiday event, Summer BBQ, etc.) create a wonderful culture that is welcoming and inclusive, while still holding students accountable in an age-appropriate way for their progress in martial arts. Teen/Adult classes: My husband and I studied Taekwondo years ago and knew that we wanted to return to martial arts once we bought a home and our daughter was old enough to participate as well. My motivation to return included the desires to improve my health, rebuild my strength, develop the skills necessary to defend myself and my family were a physical altercation unavoidable, and to demonstrate perseverance to my daughter in a way that would be meaningful to her (i.e., because we were on the same rewarding journey together). We wanted a school that would challenge us, while also acknowledging our distinct physical capabilities; a school where we would feel camaraderie and a sense of community with our classmates and instructors; and a school that would motivate us to succeed and advance while also being cognizant and understanding of the impact work, illness, and life can have on even the most motivated student. CMA has met all of my expectations, and more importantly, Master Miller and Master Sanjin have been an unwavering source of support and encouragement as I strive to meet my own expectations. As an obese person with weak ankles (one resulting from a fracture that never healed correctly), and weak knees (both have been previously injured), I am not always able to move as swiftly as my peers or perform fitness tasks in the same way. However, Masters Sanjin and Miller are always patient and supportive of me, often helping me find adjustments I can make to tasks that will allow me to still participate and strengthen and challenge myself, all while preventing injury. As examples, I do push-ups on my knees and use a cage fitness bag to absorb some of the shock on my wrists when completing burpees. I would also like to call out Ms. Dana, Ms. Olivia, Ms. Elizabeth, Ms. Keelie, Ms. Maia, and Ms. Katrina for their superb instruction. Ms. Maia and Ms. Katrina are teenage assistant instructors, who are currently advanced belts and have trained since childhood at CMA. The other assistant instructors have all trained or are currently training at CMA. If our daughter grows up to be half as self-possessed, thoughtful, and powerful as these women, we will be immensely proud indeed. The only negative I want to note has nothing to do with the quality of CMA as a school for martial arts. However, unfortunately, the parking situation at the school can be challenging, and downright perilous in winter months. Often, there are not enough parking spots at the school, which means that we have to park across the street in a residential development and run across Shermer to get to and from class. This is always inconvenient, but especially in winter, shorter days (and therefore, reduced visibility for oncoming, often speeding cars) and inclement weather make this crossing even more dangerous. I am not sure that CMA can do anything about this. But as the school is an integral part of the community, I would encourage the Village of Northbrook to help by either opening the parking lot of the adjoining building (once owned by the Village) to CMA patrons (as had been previously done), or by installing a pedestrian crosswalk with flashing lights to ensure the safety of those who need to cross the always busy Shermer. To sum up, CMA is a wonderful school and an integral part of the Northbrook community. We feel very lucky to have found it and look forward to earning our black belts from here one day.

The teachers are wonderful but you are bound to a one-year contract and if your child isn’t motivated to go there is little you can do about it. I would not, under any circumstances, sign up for a one-year commitment. What they’ll say is that you need to make that kind of commitment to see the benefits but the reality is that kids can’t be forced to go if they don’t want to go. Of course my son promised he would go, but reality is different. When I posted a review on a local site the owner called me but made it sound like they would have “worked with” me but that was not what I was told when I repeatedly couldn’t get my child to go to the classes. I would have had to pay for the time of the psychiatrist to write a letter saying my son didn’t have the focus/ability to follow through with this commitment since he’s on the autism spectrum, etc.

Power packed 30 minute class of kickboxing. This was my second class. The first was an equally challenging cage fitness class. Great facility. Very clean, friendly instructors and encouraging. I had never taken either type of class before, the instructors were helpful, demonstrated the proper form and technique. I can’t wait to go back next week!

One of my kids have special needs. He has difficulty with maintaining focus, following directions, balance and gross motor skills. I was hesitant at first to enroll him here, because we had a bad experience with another martial arts school when he was 4. He is now 7 years old. I figured that he is better with all his problems than 3 years ago. He is now ready to try again.I spoke to Instructor Sanjin and Master Miller about his special needs. I told them that my son needs help to focus on tasks. He needs more visual and tactile cues to follow instructions. He also needs extra time to learn. I was curious about how he would perform and how the instructors would accommodate him. I was pleasantly surprised at how patient the instructors were in teaching him. They are firm in a nice way, when my son needs to refocus or when he is simply lost on what he needs to do. He is never sad when he gets corrected by them. I am happy to say that not only did he improve his gross motor skills, balance and focus, he also improved on his self care tasks. Aside from learning martial arts, CMA has special lessons too. Because of their Anti-bullying seminar, my son learned how to handle himself. He was able to stand up to the kids who were giving him problems in school. His issues in school now have stopped. Before a child earns his white belt, he is given a homework. My son was given the task of dressing and brushing his teeth independently without anybody reminding him. He was also supposed to clean up his toys. This gave him a jump start on to be motivated to do these tasks. Before the belting ceremony to receive the white belt, I had to sign a form to prove that he did his homework. This made receiving the white belt special. I also have a typically developing son who I enrolled with my first one. Because I enrolled 2 kids, my husband & I are free to join. I also practice with my 2 sons to model good behavior and to help them with the lessons. My other son, enjoys going to CMA so much. I’m happy that they get a lot of exercise from coming here. Bonus for me, I lost weight since I started coming here. CMA is awesome!!!! Thank you, Master Miller, Instructor Sanjin, Instructor Angel, Instructor Frankie, Instructor Dennis, Instructor Theodore and Instructor Andrew!!!

This place seem to be nice at first, and they really lured me and my son into signing up for 6 months of classes. After my son was first tested out by one of the instructors, I signed him up and he started the class, I could see it became very easy for him very soon, and lots of younger kids were in the class. In 3 months, they recommended switching to a higher level class with outrageous sign up fees, plus you would have to commit to 3 years! My son is 7 year old and I feel like they knew from the very beginning that this class is going to be too easy for him, but signed him up anyway. Class is only 30 minutes and is not very intense. Includes 5 min break for water and bathroom! I feel robbed and undercommunicated. They nick and dime with extra testing fees, extra equipment etc. Also, who would sign up a 7yo for 3 years? Kids change their minds and parents have no control sometimes, so luring parent into 3 years of monthly payment is wrong. Their payment system is not transparent. I asked to switch him to higher level class to try it out, but they refused, saying that I need to sign him up first.

My daughter has been going there for approximately one year. She was 4.5 when started. She has made dramatic improvements in self-esteem, focus, personal and physical growth with the help of the CMA team. I highly recommend them!

David Kim has helped me greatly over the past three years. 2016 he helped cure my Vertigo involvement with dedicated, focused, and regular treatment. It worked!!! In 2017 he also offered exercises and treatment for a stiff neck and shoulder muscles. In those instances he was enthusiastic, highly motivated and devoted to curing my disability. And, it was successful and I was able ro pass my DMV road test. Lastly, this year, 2018 he and his team of two other Athletico therapists worked diligently over four summer months to help cure and alleviate pain in my leg, ankle, and knee due to a fracture and lymphdema. I would whole heartedly recommend David Kim, RPT to anyone seeking relief and dedicated physical therapy treatment.

I hurt my back and the doctor suggested PT might help. I chose this Athletico location because it’s convenient – close to work and home. I’ve been seeing Allison over the past several weeks and she’s done a great job working on my back to loosen it up. She’s friendly, but professional and it’s clear that she knows her stuff. Massages, exercises to strengthen my core and coaching on how to bend, pick things up the right way, etc. have all been very helpful. I will definitely use Allison again if the need arises and I won’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone I know who needs PT services.

Lilija is a positive light and genuine healer to her clients who makes her space completely comfortable during any session. She takes her time to speak with you before starting, especially if it’s your first time, and she thoroughly explains what she will do. She has healed herself in many ways using her practices which I found inspiring. I went to her for reiki as well as holographic memory resolution and both have helped me better understand myself. One thing I really appreciated about her as well is that she gave me so much knowledge from her practices and books she’s read that I’ve been able to improve my self healing abilities when I’m home. My schedule has made it difficult to see her as often as I’d like, but I would recommend her to anyone on a journey of self healing. She’s a wonderful person.

This lady is great. I had sleeping issues and she fixed that. Not a big believer in reiki but I am starting to see the light. I was so relaxed after the session and the fact that she is so sweet was just what I needed.

Wow!Even though I wasn’t sure exactly what a Reiki healing session is back in 2012 Lillya explained everything in a simple way that helped me understand. Liliya is a real gem! I had never experienced Reiki healing before and wasn’t sure what to expect. I had recently lost my job of 17 years and received a serious health diagnosis and felt like I was in a deep fog, mentally and spiritually. The first session with Lily was the beginning of true healing for me, it was like someone opened the faucet of my soul and years of emotional waste released. Over several sessions, she used various techniques to help me resolve past traumas as she encouraged self love and letting go. Lily is so compassionate and caring, she shares her knowledge openly with you to help you be all that you can be. Justin is truly AMAZING! I found him year after my first ACL reconstruction surgery and 1 week after my 2nd; had to scope it out. From the beginning, he was different from all the previous PT locations I have visited (I had spent the last 8 months in PT). The traditional approach being 30 minutes with the therapist, then 30 minutes doing exercises with the tech. He does not follow this format. Instead, he takes the time to listen to you and tailors a recovery program suited to your needs. The one on one care on site and accessibility was genuine and helped me understand my recovery and previous setbacks. I am amazed more PT clinics don’t operate this way- I think there would be a lot less of us in PT then. Booking: First appointment made over phone and subsequent ones made on site and they accept most insurance. Parking: Ample parking in lot.Location: A bit tricky to find as it is in a plaza so allot an additional 5-10 minutes for your first visit.

Spencer took the time to figure out my very weird injury. Having played sports and worked out all my life, I’ve never had any sort of problem with my adductor muscles. It manifested as abdominal pain, so not an easy guess as to what the problem was. I was down to 40% but I am now back up to 75% and hoping to get back to 100%.

After a pretty frustrating experience at RIC, my wife happened across ProFormance Therapy in her search. I came to meet Justin having survived a bad fall with 6 broken ribs, a punctured lung, a broken clavicle, vestibular ear fracture and 2 brain contusions. After a month in the hostpital, the ribs were healing, but after clavicle surgery the range of motion on my left arm was only 90 degrees. Justin was the first therapist I’d met who was able to explain to me not only the reasons my arm wasn’t ready to work, but also the path to healing. I went from a deep sense of fear that I would not be able to lift my kids again, to a new feeling of hope and trust in the place I was at. I can’t say enough praise for the team here… Justin helped me work through the pain, and the more progress I saw, the more excited I got. He understood how far he could push me, and excused a sense of calm that kept me grounded. What I didn’t expect to experience was an infectious atmosphere of levity in the room. Nick and Justin both kept me grinning and laughing in every visit, which actually helps quite a bit when you’re arm is getting stretched in a seemingly impossible direction. I’ll always be grateful for the tremendous healing I received at ProFormance Therapy, and strongly, emphatically recommend you give them a chance if you need help!

I highly recommend ProFormance for physical therapy.I have been to physical therapy at other chain type PT companies such as ATI or Athletico where the therapists are juggling several patients at once while simultaneously writing their notes in order to keep up.At ProFormance the therapists work individually with one patient at a time, resulting in a much higher quality of care.My therapist was Steven, he is very knowledgeable, professional and also a warm and pleasant person to work with.Overall the atmosphere is a wonderful combination of caring staff and a high level of skill and professionalism.

I had the worst plantar fasciitis as well as my Achilles hurt all the time. When I looked around to find the right Physical Therapist in the area I found ProFormance who came highly recommended by my neighbor. The therapists there were very warm and immediately pin pointed my issues and put a plan in place to help aid in my recovery. I’d recommend ProFormance Therapy to everyone! Glad to say I made the right decision.

I was skeptical about trying physical therapy in the first place and even mentioned that to the physical therapist when i first arrived. all he said was to give it a try. i did and wow, what a difference.first of all, proformance is not like any other physical therapy place have been before, and i have been to the ones you see all over the city and suburbs. One on one with you physical therapist from the moment you arrive until you are ok to discontinue PT. Extremely knowledgeable, patient, helpful, and always have your best interest at hand. I suggest using a few of the therapists as they all have a little different way to try things out, and don’t worry, they take copious notes so when you have a session with a different therapist they know all about you. Plus the place is not super large so you pretty much see and meet everyone in a short amount of time.Stephen and Josh are great and really helped me get to a full recovery post back surgery.There location is right off of the Edens on Dempster, totally easy to get to and easy and free parking.I hope I never need PT again, but if i do i will be reaching out to ProFormance.

Justin Silver, Mary Beth, Nick and the rest of the team are outstanding. They are currently helping me recover from an ACL reconstruction. If you want to be pushed and not just loaf through the routines this is the place for you. Their mission is to provide a patient-centered approach to physical therapy through education and quality care in a dynamic state-of-the-art environment. They are a privately owned company dedicated to your care. I am fortunate to live very close the their office so when I told them I wouldn’t be able to drive after my surgery they volunteered to pick me up. I am not sure about you but this is my kind of place.
