I cannot day enough about Mel. My daughter in her teens with cancer had a terrible outcome with her surgery. Mel not only gave me peace of mind but he inspired me to hope and work towards more healing, more growing and more living. Wow, Mel was FANTASTIC. He started out my session by being friendly welcoming and he immediately went into details that no one would have known. I had my reservations about seeing a psychic but after visiting with Michael, all of those doubts disappeared. I was truly blown away by the amount of detail that Michael was able to give me. I believe people should take things like this with a grain of salt but there is no way anyone could have known some of the things that Michael knew. I had to fight back tears several times during my reading because it was so powerful. If you have any interest at all in having a psychic reading, definitely do yours with Michael. He has a very kind and calming energy. I felt a lot of compassion and deep understanding while speaking with him as well. He was very patient and allowed me to ask questions at the end of my reading. Michael is amazing! Just had my third reading with him and this time I brought my father, and almost 81-year-old very Catholic skeptic. He was so spot on with the specifics that he impressed him. It’s also to explain it in a way my father understood that you can believe in this gift, his vision and inside and still be true to your personal faith. Michael is a faithful man himself. He provides such peace, comfort and in some ways closure. I think he is an angel on earth and I always feel calmer, more serene and peaceful after one of our sessions. He has shown me that I can talk to my beautiful mama on a regular basis and that she and other dearly departed loved ones are always with me. My friend had a medium party with Michael last month and I went in having zero idea what to expect, just going for the fun of it. There was some confusion on the time apparently a scheduling conflict made by his assistant so we were all left waiting for a few hours after the scheduled start time. It was fine for me because I cleared my schedule to hang out with my friends the whole day, but several people couldn’t make it or had to leave and were not able to have their time. He did compensate and say we could each take $5 off our reading. It costs $45 for a reading that’s about 20 minutes. We had about 20 people and everyone came out bawling, in shock, in awe – I was freaked out waiting for my turn. When my turn finally came, I went in and without going into too many details, it was pretty cool. He said some detailed things that freaked me out but also I wish some things were touched on that weren’t. Over all though, a very cool experience and a fun time.Check out his website, have a medium party with friends! I didn’t walk away completely believing but it did give me a closure I was looking for. Go for nothing more than the entertainment aspect and you’ll have a good time!

I have been trying to schedule a Medium seminar in my home for over a month now, originally I was asked to provide possible dates, I sent three dates and was told he was unavailable, I replied that I would accept the first earliest possible date he was available and would work from there, I have never received a response. I have tried calling numerous times during business hours, only to get a voicemail box that is full. I am very frustrated, a very dear friend of mine recently lost her brother and was hoping she might be able to receive some measure of peace, but at this rate it is never going to happen.

I’m not sure if any of you here recently suffered the pain of letting your beloved fur baby go; but I needed to have a bit of peace of mind so I hired a professional well known clairvoyant medium channel here in chicago for an in tune phone reading.Her name is pandora psychic and you can contact her here and on Instagram if you need closure, someone kind to talk to or if you recently had a loved one or pet pass away.I don’t dole out compliments half heartedly nor do I greedily horde healers or good services all to myself.On NYE my beautiful baby Mr. Valentino the Mobster puss lost interest in food. I went out to buy white castle sliders for myself and my pets and had bought all of Valentino’s favorite wet foods including tuna. I feel Her reading is accurate in someways , but pandora made a prediction about my Ex. Juan who will become more distance towards his 4 years current girlfriend sandra who was very controlling and she said by the third week of March and so far that didnt happened at all and they’re still together and Pandora told me in April i will reconnect with him which i am giving it time to see if any of her prediction does come to pass . I don’t even know how to start this review because of how real everything has come to light that Pandora was able read and share with me in my reading. She was spot on with literally everything. I only asked her questions such as, “And why about me Mom?”- and her response was “I’m worried about her depression and nutrition”- which is exactly what’s going on with my mom right now. She was going to go to the next question after talking about my father and brother and I butted in and asked about me Mom and the truth to the two things that she followed with shocked me into goosebumps. Pandora told me someone was going to contact me on the 10th or 14th (after no contact for over two weeks) and the person texted me on the 14th. Pandora has been the best psychic I have ever had a reading with. My energy immediately felt connected and attached to her in the present moment. My Back surgeon, Noam Stadlan, reviewed my recent X-Rays. He operated on my herniated disc 5+ years ago and the results were awesome. But lately I’ve had issues with partial numbness in my feet. He said ” Your stenosis is progressing. I can operate but perhaps Physical Therapy will delay they need for a goodly while. I love him for saying that. I went to Body Gears in Hubbard Woods. I’d been there last year but didn’t follow through on the exercises after my sessions ended. Cyril Kanjookaran was my therapist for the 10-12 sessions I had. He is awesome. Very supportive and non/judgmental when I shared I hadn’t exercised between sessions. Still I decided to actually “get with the program” and do the work between my sessions. WOW! They actually worked especially as he suggested some alternative ones which did the same as the one I hated. So I graduated YESTERDAY. They shot Party Poppers into the air to congratulate me. Can’t say enough good things about Andrea at Body Gears Winnetka. I was a patient this summer for hip bursitis and she had me back exercising and pain free in just weeks! Good availability of appointment times so I could manage around work and kids. This was my second time as a patient at this Body Gears location and I’m willing to drive over from Arlington Heights because I’m impressed with the therapists. I work in health care so I have some high expectations! Highly recommend.

I got in a rear ended car accident a few months ago and had some lower back pain as a result. I went to physical therapy here for about 12 sessions and feel so much better. I had Sara and Jen as my main therapists and they’re so great! They spend about 40 mins with you and then you do exercises for about 20 mins with an assistant. The thing that sets this place apart from other PT places is that they use your body as the main equipment along with exercise balls, foam rollers, rubber bands. They also have a Pilates reformer machine but I hardly used that. They also have an awesome app that shows videos of how to do home exercises via videos. The therapists there are also very flexible and help you out with different body parts that you need help with so I had help with my whole back and tight hips. They also specialize and are certified in women’s health physical therapy which is awesome. I def Rec this place for anyone who needs PT and post partum moms with women’s health issues.

I was in a lot of pain from a L5S1 bulging disc back injury and wasn’t feeling too confident about being able to do any kind of physical therapy. Andrea was extremely gentle, attentive and supportive of my situation and walked me through simple movements and exercises to start. After a couple weeks, I was able to increase my output significantly and started to really feel a difference in my recovery. I have had a back injury before (bulging disc/deterioration) and recovery was much harder and longer. Of course I can’t directly compare those two injuries, but I do credit Andrea for helping me recovery quickly -astonishingly so, and I started to feel better than I had even before the injury! I was also very appreciative of the time she took in answering all my questions. She was very patient, lovely to chat with while doing the work and very positive. I had to cancel my appointments from time to time and they were very understanding and accommodating. I couldn’t be happier with my experience there. Thanks to both Andrea and Drew (at the front desk).

Finally found a PT place where therapists know what they are doing and actually work on you! Does not have that factory feel like other chain places do. Only gripe is that certain therapists run consistently late so when schedule with them, I would usually have to wait anywhere from 10-20 min past the scheduled time. And even though I’d be taken late I’d still end at the normal time so I ended up being short changed a bit on therapy time. I don’t know if the scheduler isn’t doing the times correctly or the therapist has trouble managing the times. I would blame late clients but that can’t be it every time.Sometimes they would be with another client but other times wasnt even in the facility. But with other therapists they were always consistently on time. The other slight gripe is that they don’t have a direct number. You call this main call center line and hope your messages get to the right facility. More often than not, calls through that call center never relayed proper messages. Plus even those factory type PT places have direct lines. A smaller more personalized place the this should have one too.But overall, I think body gears and their therapists are great. It’s the only place I refer people to.

I suffered a traumatic knee injury almost 3 years ago which affected my walk which in turn drastically affected my hip and lower back. After several failed attempts at other therapies, I came to Body Gears and they have put me on the path to pain-free, normal movement. My great PT, Ankit, immediately understood my situation and was very effective in reversing the damage I had done. I had been told elsewhere that “surgery was in my future” and I was dreading it; my experience with Body Gears proves that their method works! I’m convinced! And feeling and moving so much better.

I wanted to update my review due to the last line I wrote in the original. Aria is simply a “good bet” for anyone wanting a reading that produces results. She knows what she’s doing. She treats her business as a business. Which means, she understands people are counting on her to produce results in a professional manner (and much more). She is the real deal. I know that when I purchase a reading with her- I’m getting results that I can trust. There’s lots of people entering this field as of late. Aria has been doing this for years and years. So my advice- go with a pro(Aria). I get she’s not the “cheapest.” But honestly- I think it’s just a bad idea to shop for a psychic based on which one gives you the best deal (or free). Value based readings have their place. Some are fabulous. But if you’re like me- I want to KNOW that I’m getting quality and will absolutely pay for that. No one could charge higher prices if they weren’t sure of their abilities and have a client base that agrees. Like… a crappy lawyer can’t charge big bucks and expect to stay in business. I have been in contact with Aria for about a year and half. She is fantastic!! Called her before changing careers, and she helped me make the right choice. Booking with her is super easy as well. She gets right back to you right away and once you schedule, she calls at your appointed time right on time. The first appointment I made was a longer 30min phone appt. Sometimes if I am facing a challenge and want to contact her, I drop her an email and schedule a 15 min. which is usually done within the week. She is right on all the time. Aria will tell you exactly what you need to hear. Highly recommended. Super easy to book. Very Reasonable rates. Accurate and to the point. Will probably be checking in with her soon again.

Lilija is a positive light and genuine healer to her clients who makes her space completely comfortable during any session. She takes her time to speak with you before starting, especially if it’s your first time, and she thoroughly explains what she will do. She has healed herself in many ways using her practices which I found inspiring. I went to her for reiki as well as holographic memory resolution and both have helped me better understand myself. One thing I really appreciated about her as well is that she gave me so much knowledge from her practices and books she’s read that I’ve been able to improve my self healing abilities when I’m home. My schedule has made it difficult to see her as often as I’d like, but I would recommend her to anyone on a journey of self healing. She’s a wonderful person.

Liliya is a real gem! I had never experienced Reiki healing before and wasn’t sure what to expect. Sheila was amazing. Best massage I’ve ever had. She was incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly which muscle groups needed work without me even telling her. She had me do some stretches during the massage to enhance the effects, and gave me some pointers afterwards to help with my tensile areas going forward. She really catered the massage to me, and I’ve never had someone do that so specifically before. She’s in a smaller, unassuming building in Northfield behind the Northfield restaurant; but don’t let the outside determine what kind of service awaits inside. Parking in the back. Her office is clean, comfortable and quiet; and just like the massage, the lighting, music and scents were tailored to me. Excellent and can’t wait to go back. I feel great!

Could not recommend the place more. There is an overall tone of welcoming from the entire staff that’s coupled with strong expertise and encouragement. Clearly the management emphasizes these things and it shows. I have been to the facility for several injuries over several years and they somehow recruit and promote good capable people consistently. My latest rehab was specific to a “golfers elbow” injury. I worked with Sam Cooper, their OT who was fantastic. Sam was professionally very talented and insightful, while a pleasure to be with in what was a lengthy but successful rehab.

Dr. Samantha Cooper is truly a dream! Over our 6 month time together, she adjusted my therapy to exactly what I needed to progress my mobility after a badly broken wrist. She took time, care and never made me feel rushed as she worked on me manually each session for 30-45 minutes. This attention and physicality of her work is something that truly sets Dr. Cooper apart from others in the field who would just focus on exercises that truly can’t heal without everything else working. I have had three separate occasions to receive treatment at this location, each involving significant surgeries over the last 4 years. Each time, I have had an outstanding experience. Currently I am doing physical therapy with Kathleen, and she has been amazing. The entire staff there is wonderful, whether it be the front desk or the assistants who work with patients in their various exercises. The attention is individualized, so professional, and constantly changing to address the patient’s progress. My current recovery is from a badly fractured ankle, and after two months I have gained so much improvement in my balance, strength and confidence, that I am doing things today that I did not think would be possible two months ago. I have had a very good experience with Athletico Winnetka. I came in after a knee injury and have come a long way in 5 months. Everyone there is very nice to me and present during visits. I know that the PT I’ve had here has really helped me recover to almost normal. I have good insurance and have not had any billing problems.

I can’t say enough about the wonderful professional care and advice I received from the team at Athletico on Green Bay Road in Winnetka. Each and every one of the team members I encountered showed a professional presence and a positive energy that made the sessions pleasant, friendly and effective. In particular, the PTs Sarah, Vanessa and Brian provided excellent care, but also the assistants Dutch, Ang and others made the exercise periods enjoyable and at the same time made sure the approach and technique were on point. But finally, the leader of this team Kathleen Christell, is one of the key reasons for the successful treatment I received. She gave top notch professional advice, expert hands on treatment – – including dry needling that made a huge difference – – insuring I had a comprehensive home exercise program and keeping me accountable in a friendly way. It was also apparent that she was an excellent people manager, providing a friendly and effective work environment and at the same time, motivating the team to be the best they can be. I will100% recommend this facility and Athletico team to anyone and everyone I encounter – – they are simply awesome!!

Came here after surgery for the past 2 months, 2x per week and it was great. Christina Branch is the best PT ever!!!!! Everyone is super nice and the facility always feels very covid-safe. If I have to do more PT in the future I’m definitely coming back here!

Inconsistent billing, shockingly high rates. Minimal benefit from therapy.$395 – 472 for an hour visit was billed to insurance. After insurance adjustment, co-pay exceed their walk-in, no-insurance cash cost.Therapists attend to 2 or more patients at a time, billing patient each full rate. Apparently that is their policy.Billing cycle is 15 minutes. And, surprise, your session barely went over the 15 minute billing mark. Did they tell you that, or make any attempt to keep it under 15 minutes. No.In the end, the therapy was less helpful than palates or yoga.Customer service phone rep was apathetic regards to the over-billing and partial attention from the therapist. Divisional management was worse, bordering defensive.Athletico is a rip-off and a scam. Read other comments, and you’ll see it’s true.

My experience is similar to the other negative reviews. Pros: clean and spacious. Cons: complete rip off. Thankfully i have good insurance that paid most of their insane bill (insane based on service provided or lack thereof) but just looking at these charges is nuts. Per VISIT they billed my insurance over $300! $300 PER APPT! And literally all the therapist did was push on my neck/back a bit (maybe 5 min?) and then stick me in a heat pack (which btw costs extra lol). After that they would go tell me to do an exercise which 1) had nothing to do w/the injury i was there for and 2) i could have done at home for free. No one even watched me doing these exercises to make sure i was doing them correctly. They also never even gave me things to be doing at home except for 1 exercise told to me the first time i went. Incidentally that 1 exercise has nothing to do w/the pain i was experiencing. Nothing after that.Out of the hour I wasted there each time, the therapist spent a minimal amount of time even interacting w/me. I realize these types of places are in it for the numbers so the therapist moves on to the next person soon after taking you and little time is actually spent with each client. But for what they are charging that business model is unfair to the patient (and frankly the insurance company too). To top it off, I’m not even slightly better than when i started but Athletico has managed to bill my insurance close to $2000… I’d have been better off going to a good masseuse for what i paid here- at least that would have produced results for the money spent. And not have been such a waste of time.

My experience at the Winnetka Athletico facility has been incredible. After two surgeries, they have been an integral part of my recovery, and I would not be where I am without them. Kathleen was recommended to me by my surgeon, and she has been an invaluable resource as I navigate my way through my recovery. She is knowledgeable, patient, highly skilled, and truly my partner in helping me make my way back to full physical capacity. I would recommend this location and staff to anyone!

Pro: Clean and spacious. Con: felt completely ripped off. Why am I paying money to do excersise with a member of staff who isn’t even giving me one on one attention. I can do these at home. 3 types of charging for one session. Too confusing and reception staff not at all forthcoming with an explanation. Better value to get an hours weekly massage with a good sports masseuse.

Tony is amazing at his craft! He is very patient, insightful, powerful, kind and respectful. Our session was AMAZING. He knew actually how to deal with whatever came up during our session. It was life changing, afterwards he takes the time to talk, if you need the space to process your experience. This man is one of a kind beautiful soul. Tony is a talented and gifted bodyworker. I came to him in a lot of pain. I have Fibromyalgia along with many other painful conditions. I’m also going through a lot of life changes right now. When I called and explained what I needed, Tony was very calm and reassuring on the phone. I booked “A Long Hello” which was a 90-minute session that incorporated many different styles of massage with some Reiki and spiritual tones to it. His layout was professional and he had all the accouterments for comfort. The table had a nice warmer and padding, the linens were fresh and very soft. I was greeted warmly by Tony (wearing a mask!) as was I. He even left a fresh mask and mint on the table so that I had clean sterile things that touch me. He sanitized my hands at the door 🙂 We sat outside a few minutes to talk about what parts I felt needed work. He told me a bit about what to expect.After I was situated on the table, between the laid back music, breeze, and the scent of incense, I started my deep breathing and self-soothing. (In preparation for the massage). If you’ve read any of my other massage reviews you may recall I am a former therapist myself. Due to my health, I can’t practice. However, it makes me one heck of a picky client. I know what a great treatment feels like. I also know what a terrible or mediocre treatment can do for a person. So I try to focus on the beginning and hope for the best. Every time you try a new therapist it’s a gamble. Tony did not disappoint in the least. He was professional. He was gentle and yet very strong. His style is nurturing and he encouraged me to release my pain in whatever form it might be. I tend to cry when I feel the pain leave. Or rather as the pain intensified to the point that I could feel the muscle start to melt and give way to his pressure…that intense sensation usually makes me cry. Well, Tony brought out the waterworks in me! I can’t share the intimate details of the pain or what I had to try to let go of. But I can share that what I received was healing, therapeutic, and only possible with a highly skilled practitioner.At the end of the massage, he offered me water, time to sit, collect myself. Tony was a gracious host. I hope (very sincerely) to be able to continue receiving treatments from him in the future. With all the extra anxiety, fear and tension COVID has brought to all of our lives, healing is an amazing gift (if you can give it or receive it). I have been a fastidious shelter in place person since Feb. 28th of this year! I never go anywhere without a mask (and btw- getting a massage even face down in the cradle with a mask was NO BIG DEAL- even when I was crying and snotting. I simply asked for a tissue, turned my head, did my biz, sanitized my hands, and put my mask back on. If I can, you can;) As I was saying, try not to let your fears of COVID keep you from self-care. Tony is practicing all the proper protocols for hygiene. He even has an ozone machine that he uses to scrub the air. If anywhere felt “safe”, I certainly felt it there. Take care of yourself and take care of those around you!

World class gifted Healer and massage therapist. If you want to healing and new changes and openings in your life…RUN…dont walk…to sign up for a series of sessions with Tony. Tony is compassionate, kind, and extremely gifted at what he does. Several years ago he helped start me on the path to healing from trauma and reclaiming my power! The words AMAZING And GIFTED don’t do him justice! He is one of a kind.

Does anyone know Glennon Doyle the writer? She has a book called Love Warrior. When I googled the book this massage location in my town popped up in the search and I realized I’ve been walking past the place for years since I live around the corner. So I’ve always known Tony was there but I have never once considered making an appointment. That is until Monday, July 19. I was in so much pain and I’d had two standard massages in the last month plus Chiropractic visits and nothing worked. Ninety minutes with Tony worked. The pain is almost completely gone. I traveled to a different dimension in such a deep state of relaxation. The sounds, the massage techniques, the space – everything was amazing. I can’t wait to go back. Vibration therapy works. I was skeptical but I’m here to tell you the pain is gone. Thank you Tony!

My path aligned with Tony some time ago, yet I hadn’t reached out until this past week and I’m very happy I did. The environment was safe and inviting you can see he took great care in providing a space where covid would be uncomfortable but us healthy, but hurting, humans could find relief. Through the use of different methodologies; sage, vibration, sound and flow, Tony is able to peel away the layers life has left behind to bring healing at the base. I’ve had traditional massages and I can honestly say the way he treads the line of firm and tender is very appreciated and show his skill in his practice. His intention feels warm and meaningful and you can tell how takes time to let the body and energy guide him. I highly recommend visiting Tony if you appreciate a more Intimate and guided release of stress and unnecessary baggage. Thank you Tony for your time and patience, V.

Had a great massage with Tony. I made an appointment online with ease and sent a note that I had surgery on my left shoulder, so I wanted to focus on the knots. When I walked in to the studio, it was unexpected, peaceful and calming music playing in the background. We had a discussion about my surgery, if I had restrictions, any concerns etc, also asked what type of music I would like during the session. First massage experience with aromatherapy and tuning fork, I liked that he was knowledgeable and explained what he was doing when he he was working on my left shoulder. Overall, experience was great and the next day my left shoulder was loose and relax, I will totally return.

These days I’ve been feeling like I’m 100 years old with my lower back. It had gotten worse to the point the pain traveled to my hips and was feeling terrible. In an effort to help myself, I made an appointment with the Love Doctor after seeing many wonderful reviews. I have to say, the message was Phenomenal! Nicole is so talented and by the time it was over I felt like I could walk on clouds. I wish I could take her home with me! However, leading up to that point I was a bit skeptical. There is no good waiting spot outside. They are right on Green Bay road and it is a bit crazy with all the traffic. If I am being honest, I didn’t realize it was in someone’s house or more like someone’s garage with clutter everywhere and strange decor. The environment threw me off, especially when I was changing and could see men outside doing construction behind a see through curtain! It made me feel a little nervous while being there. I had to duck for cover quick! Finally Nicole came out, she put me at ease with her lovely personality, music, and the nice smelling oils. I loved the scalp message, she melted away my stress. My back and hip feel much better thanks to her. I could at least close my eyes and pretend I was on a beach or somewhere really nice. If I could just give a review of Nicole it would be 5 stars for sure. I actually had to wait almost 2 months for this appointment, because they only do one message at a time since space is small. If they got a better location I would probably be a regular here!

One of the best massages I’ve ever had. Tony really helped me to relax both physically and mentally. He coached me through some major sore spots and left me feeling so rejuvenated. I booked an appointment online and due to a little glitch, the online booking system created a double-booking issue. This immediately prompted Tony to give me a call to explain and reschedule my appointment. This turned out for the best because in that call we got an opportunity to talk a bit and I felt quite a warm connection with him right away. I began to get excited about our appointment, which got re-booked for the very next day (I was worried I would have to wait a few days).When I arrived at his private-residence studio, I felt at ease right away. Tony’s gentle & caring spirit, the soothing music, and crystals all around the space drew me in. We began the session by talking about my story (i.e., what led me there, what was ailing me, etc.) and what I hoped to gain in our visit. Refreshingly, this discussion went deeper than the superficial. He asked thoughtful questions; and with patience and engagement, he listened to me. I felt like Tony really wanted to understand me a little better as a person, in order to employ the best combination of treatment(s) to help me experience relaxation and healing.When we moved to the table work, I deliberately kept an open mind. I had a feeling this was going to be a new kind of massage experience for me and the way my mind works sometimes, “new” can cause me to overthink and over-analyze. Basically, “new” can sometimes make me stress out — the very reason I needed a relaxing massage.This experience was very, very different from any massage experience I’ve had so far…in THE most beautiful way! The aromatherapy massage, sage smoke, tuning fork, and other mystical goodies literally took me deeper into myself and outside of myself at the same time in way that felt healing and reunifying. Tensions were relieved – my muscles were no longer in knots. PLUS, I felt a release of stale energy replaced by an infusion of bright, fresh energy that literally felt like my soul lit up. I’m telling you — this was an amazing experience!I’m grateful for meeting Tony. He is a gift to world.
