I saw Olga. Go see her. I had emotional pain that was harbored physically in between my shoulders that was from a breakup. Luckily I have Olga’s phone number. I felt her begin loosening up my body and all facial lines from head down into my feet, listening to where I needed attention. Lots of good work was done. When on my back, the magic ensued. She has a very calm demeanor, and if you were to tell her you wanted to focus on specific areas of the body, she will definitely listen to you. I’ve been coming to Olga for massages since her opening in June and only now I finally got to write a review. I’m a little slow. Lol  I absolutely love her massages! Makes me feel so relaxed and ready to face all the challenges of the world! She uses hot stones and aromatherapy, oh, it’s sooo good! My mom had a great experience here – affordable, kind owner, “best massage ever!”I booked the massage for my mom about a week in advance for Mother’s Day and Olga was able to accommodate her even though she had Mother’s Day plans herself that morning. Since I am not local, I sent money to my dad who was supposed to drop it off to pay in advance, but forgot–Olga was very gracious to my mom when she started to walk out out without paying. Even though my mom had to pay for her own mother’s day gift, it was handled in such a kind way and the price was so good for the service ($75 for new clients, not including tip)  that my mom left feeling like she’d gotten the bargain of her life! She has vowed to switch her monthly massage place to Cosmic Balance – I hope she does!

Olga is the best! I’ve been lacking in self care but needing to fix a hamstring issue so I can keep up with my running and training. Olga relieved the pain I was having in my hamstring AND found all the other areas that I didn’t even realize were so tight.  I felt like a completely different person and I’m finally enjoying running again!  I’m not going to wait till I’m in pain to get a massage anymore and I’m not going to see anyone else!

She is the real deal, and from the moment you meet her for the appointment, to the follow up emails afterwards, you get the sense that she genuinely cares about you and wants to not only provide a great healing session for you, but to empower you to heal yourself.I booked a reiki session with Alicia in Fort Collins. Before I even got on the table, she had already downloaded a bunch of information from my guides about what needed attention. I was amazed by this, because I hadn’t told her anything about myself or what I was seeking help with prior to the appointment. Everything she picked up on as she laid her hands on me during the appointment was spot on. After the appointment, she sent me an email with some handouts on energetic practices that I could use to help continue improving after the session, as well as a summation of some of the highlights what came out of the session.Immediately afterwards, I felt relaxed. I am unable to express how many insights Alicia led me toward in just one session. Ive never experienced Reiki or had an appointment for tarot or psychic reading, but im a very spiritual person. I heard about Alicia through a friend of mine who went to her for digestive problems. After hearing the story of their session, i asked for Alicias number and txt her. She got back to me very quickly and asked to hop on the phone for a sec. When Alicia called what impressed me most was that she wanted to know nothing about my life – just a general idea of what i wanted to get out of a session. I told her it was mostly nutritional – am i doing the best things for my body? how am i handling the foods im eating? whats good and whats bad for me? – and in return she said i should expect that the session will definitely cover that, but to realize that physical issues wont be the only thing that come up. She might get insights that are more emotional, mental, and spiritual as well – so i should be ready and open to those things.    Firstly, our session was very professional and her home was lovely and clean, with an open energy. She told me a little about herself and we got started. I laid down on her very comfortable massage table and Alicia made sure i knew i could get up at any time and that the most important thing is i remain comfortable. She started by going through each of my chakras looking for blockages and evaluating which areas to focus on. What really surprised me was that my problem areas happened to be in the three chakras i would never have expected – The three that before this session i would have said were perfectly healthy. I realized afterward that exactly because i didnt think they were blocked, those were the ones Id been most neglecting.      Before Alicia laid a hand on me, she started to get information and energy readings – she spoke with clarity and open understanding about parts of my life that no one could have known about. It definitely freaked me out to hear that a deceased relative of mine was here. He was reminding me of my talents that i used to use when i was kid, but have gradually lost over the years through neglect and fear. I was open, but i hadnt expected this. It was so personal that i was jolted with immediate emotion. I could tell from the very start that Alicia was the real deal as she told me my grampas name and what he had to say.     Then she laid her hands over each blocked chakra and expressed to me what info she was receiving. We went though so many different aspects of my life – including nutritional like i had asked for. Alicia told me about allergy sensitivities and specific deficiencies i had that i did not know about. She told me what to eat to cure those deficiencies and was spot- on when expressing what foods my body likes and dislikes. She knew without me telling her that i had changed my diet recently and told me how to make the diet more effective by introducing specific foods.     I experienced a visual and physical sensation when she laid her hand on my heart chakra. While talking after the session, what was most curious to both of us was that Alicia had been having the exact same visualization that id had. She saw and described it exactly as i saw it, before transferring its energy to other chakras of my body. We were both pretty blown away.      So heres the reason im leaving such a long, detailed comment. I was directly effected by the session. My past relationship no longer plagues my thoughts at night, guilts from past have dissolved, and ive begun actively expressing myself better and without as much censorship. As Alicia said, she did not do any of those things for me. She is not a healer, but a guide to healing. She diagnosed the problems and gave me things to work on. I believe that because i was open and followed her advice, i am being healed by my own body and self. But Alicia helped alot. It was probably worth a hundred therapy sessions and much much quicker. I was with her for a few hours and the price was way more than worth it. In fact, i feel like i probably owe her more money for what she gave me.     Im sure that each session is completely different and arriving with expectations is the worst thing you can do. All i can say is that seeing Alicia is most definitely worth it. She is tuned in, humble, and – as she says – honing her abilities with each new session. When i asked her whether i should come back for more, her answer was also a great sign of her honesty. She told me no, i dont need to. That i can. And that some people do come once a week, but that i should work on what i was given for as long as i can – and if i ever feel i need another session that i can come back then. Much different than any western doctor ive ever seen who wants to scrape you for every last cent. I will go back to her at some point, but for now im working on the info she gave me by myself. Alicia is absolutely incredible. I’ve been seeing her for years for healing and intuitive practice and she never ceases to amaze me.  I’ve personally seen her treat physical ailments, work out energetic blocks that hold us back, and within one session, help someone figure out what they are passionate about and what to do for the rest of their life. Her space is warm, peaceful and inviting. Wonderful energy. And she makes handmade tinctures and salves that she’ll often send me home with from her little apothecary. Alicia has literally pin pointed things that I’ve never told anybody. And her physical healing work seems impossible. About 3 years ago, I had surgery on an ovary. A few months back, I was having a lot of pain in that area and my cycle had become irregular. She simply put her hand on the area and saw that the ovary was shriveled up and tangled up with my organs. We did some energy work to increase blood flow and energy to the ovary. After ONE session, the pain was gone and my cycle has been back to normal! Look, you don’t have to be a woo woo energy person to get results with Alicia. As nuts as all this might sound, she’s also incredibly grounded and pragmatic. And most importantly, SHE GETS RESULTS.

Hands down the only place I’d go for physical therapy in Fort Collins. They have seen me through several injuries and rehab after surgery. If you are dealing with ongoing pain, I highly recommend going in for an assessment. I had chronic low back pain, nothing I tried for years worked. A few months at Berkana and I am pain free! It’s wonderful. To my knowledge they are the last locally owned (not sold out to a nation wide chain) rehab clinic in town.  Which means you get far better care, are treated like family, and have your entire session with a therapist instead of getting pawned off on a tech.

Although Nancy Quick has good clinical skills, she is surprisingly biased in certain areas and unable to take in the accurate information that is needed to properly treat a client, no matter how many ways or times the information is given to her.  In addition, her people-skills are often lacking, which may explain what seems to be a very high rate of turnover in her office, both in the other PTs and in the support staff.  She might be a good choice for people who need short-term, focused work —- e.g., someone who is healthy and is recovering from a sports-related injury, or someone who had a knee replacement.  But all others would probably be wise to steer clear.

I highly recommend Berkana Rehabilitation Institute to assist in relieving pain issues from injuries.  Having lived with pain most of my military career, I was led to believe that I would have to live with back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, and nerve pain in my hands for the rest of my life.  When my doctor recommended Berkana Rehabilitative Institute, it changed my life.  The Physical Therapists are highly knowledgeable and well skilled in their profession in getting rid of the pain that I thought I would be living with for the rest of my life.  The staff are caring, friendly and professional.  Everyone there is awesome and I will never go any where else to address any pain issues I may have in the future.  I am extremely pleased to be back to living a very active life filled with all the physical activities that I thought I would never be able to do again.  A big thank you to everyone at Berkana Rehabilitative Institute for giving my life back to me.

Where does one start??First off I want to applaud the office for its ability to just get a smile on a face when you walk through the door..As patient now in many aspects of Benchmark: weight loss, spinal correction, PT, and now hip replacement.. Because I started over a ear and half ago, I was doing Keto.. my way. And Dr Sandy did bloodwork and helped me improve my diet and my outlook.With surgery, 90 percent of your improvement in psyche and diet.. the rest is sheer movement.. and getting back to ground zero, everyone is different, but my garden business and zest for outdoors got me going 10 days post surgery., No docs tell you to do PT right away.. they get you moving.. I get we are all different healing wise.. but thank god for Benchmark and it’s employees..   encouragement., support., innovative techniques and wise and wonderful PTs Justin and Allison.. front the front desk .. to chryo.. to Jason and adjustment crew.. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I did the weight loss program here. The program (essentially way over priced keto) was successful in helping me loose some weight, but I never got to my goal (my closest was 17# away) and as soon as I tired to eat real healthy foods after their diet, I gained it all back and then some. The biggest problem I had was the disorganization and horrible hours. I would show up for an appointment before work and have to leave before it happened because they would be so far behind.Finally, I got sick of this place and choose a different company that uses real food (not their disgusting boxed and powdered food) and respects my time. I called to get records from Benchmark and was told they would be ready on Friday, I gave them extra days and went in the following Wednesday. Not only were my records not ready like I was told they would be; but they actually laughed when I said I was told they should’ve already been printed because “there was a holiday” so I shouldn’t have actually thought they would’ve done as they said they would. To add insult to injury, they couldn’t even find all of the blood work that I had done there and I walked away, 20mins later, with only 1 record when I had multiple tests and was a patient for several months.

The Physical Therapy, Massage and Chiropractic services at Benchmark are phenomenal.  When I walk through the door, I am greeted with respect, kindness and professionalism.  Each and every person who works there have an attitude of helpfulness, healing and hopefulness. They have the most updated knowledge and equipment  so to heal the entire body, not just the injured part.  I would highly recommend  all post operative, post injuries and especially people who have had complicated medical issues as myself.

My PT,  John Skinner, was wonderful to work with! He is knowledgeable, patient and professional. I came into the office after my back locked up. I was in terrible pain but John managed to combine manipulation and exercise to get me back on my feet again. (Literally!)  I had my doubts at first but John was able to break through all my concerns. Also would like to mention that the office staff is top notch and that the environment is new and clean. If you are looking for great care this is a wonderful place!

I dislocated my shoulder in February 2017, and Terry Gebhardt was specifically recommended to me.  Terry and Colorado In Motion far exceeded my expectations:  he not only helped me heal my shoulder and get back to mountain biking and the other active things I love, but he also helped me approach wellness in a new, more holistic way, including the mental aspects of recovering from an injury.  Quite honestly, it felt more like having a personal coach than a physical therapist, and I would recommend Terry and CIM to anyone who truly loves to be active.  I’m not sure if my shoulder will ever be quite as strong as it once was, but I feel like I am a stronger person — physically and mentally — from the experience.
