**this location is closed, see the updated address below**I was very impressed with Sobador, so much so that I have two more sessions scheduled. I came to Sobador for physical therapy about extreme tension that is causing pain in my entire upper body -currently it hurts to simply take in a deep breath. I went to my doctor about this and they recommended me to see a physical therapist. The one they referred me to had very bad reviews, so I did some research and that’s how I found Sobador.Manuel did a great job confirming that this pain is coming from tension in my muscles and we now have a strategy in place now to fix this. I’m extremely relieved to find a solution for this issue, I’ve been physically miserable for weeks. Thank you so much!They recently opened a new location in Grand Prairie, which is very nice, however it seems all their updated location information hasn’t been updated yet on the internet. I got a fantastic massage here with Sandra. I tried for a same day appointment but they were initially booked. They ended up calling me back when there was a cancellation (great customer service) and I was so appreciative because I was in desperate need of working out a knot in my shoulder. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated and the space was very quiet. Sandra was very skilled in working on my shoulders at a pressure I preferred (more Swedish style, not deep tissue). She knew what she was doing and broke up a few of my knots as much as possible in our 1 hour session without grinding into my back. I’d highly recommend this hidden gem. I’ll definitely be back!

I have now been here a many times. I started going to Sobador in 2016 when I moved to Dallas. I’m not one to regularly review on Yelp, but my experience here has led me to do so. I have been extremely impressed with the constant professional service here at Sobador. Not once have I experienced sub-par service. Indeed, each time my body demands that I return due to stress from work, aches or pains, I am met with instant relief. Super clean and relaxing space! The price is great too, much cheaper than what I have experienced in other places. I highly recommend Sobador to all my co-workers, friends, and family.

Just walking through the door of this place immediately makes me feel more in touch with my spiritual side. I think this association is due to the fact that I come here almost exclusively to attend their psychic fairs, classes and sessions (as opposed to only shopping). Here you can get a tarot card reading, communicate with loved ones on the other side, find out who you were in a past life and meet your spirit guides, just to name a few of the opportunities for spiritual exploration that they offer. Some of my experiences have been so enlightening and impactful that I would describe them as life changing. As far as the store itself and the merchandise they sell, to me it’s more like the gift shop attached to an attraction. Like most gift shops, it’s enjoyable to browse, but the goods can be a little expensive. However, these days with the pervasiveness of online shopping, it’s the price you pay for the ability to see/touch/smell items before you buy them.

This is a nice little store with a lot of things to look at. There is a little of everything…tarot, incense, crystals, keychains, classes, psychic readings… I felt like the prices were a bit high for the things I was interested in, and they were a bit pushy trying to sell stuff/readings. I would visit again if there were something specific that I needed, but I probably won’t go back just to shop.

The energy of this place was EXACTLY what my best friend and I needed. As two young moms with very little time away to have a little “us” time. It was so refreshing to come to a metaphysical shop and not only feel welcomed but have employees that were so helpful and kind. We happened to of popped in at a time they were having their psychic fair and we were able to get a reading. Such a great experience and we will def be back! **Update: great customer service, received a refund for two separate purchases with no issues.Purchased green and yellow obsidian crystals. After my purchase, I searched for more information on them and found very similar pictures of the crystals on a blog titled invoguejewelry regarding obsidian crystals being man made glass and advertised as otherwise. I reported back to the shop with my concerns and was informed that the crystals are derived from volcanic glass and still have metaphysical properties. Hard to believe since the crystals strongly resemble man made glass.

stopped by here today to pick up my first set of tarot cards! natasha was extremely helpful and informative about the different types of cards they had available. the lady i think was the owner offered me a basket to hold the items i had picked out until i was ready to check out. when i was ready to check out they were extremely kind and even zeroed out my new tarot cards. they also had a wide range of inventory from a lot of different types of crystals, jewelery and pendulums, tarot cards and other types of cards and how-to books, candles and a chart explaining the meaning of each color candle, etc (they had a lot more that i didnt get a close look at). overall a wonderful experience with some absolutely lovely ladies and a great vibe, i will definitely be frequenting this shop for all of my spiritual needs 🙂

I’ve been seeing Timmy for deep tissue (warrior) massages, cupping and occasional LET for nearly 4 years. He *truly* listens to me at the beginning of every appointment so that my treatments are totally customized (we mix cupping and deep tissue often). His trap and neck technique is by far the best in Dallas. Massages with Timmy are pretty vital towards managing my stress and anxiety. Like another reviewer said – I always prefer to have a massage with him before or after a vacation since he’s so reliably great as opposed to testing out spas etc where you’re just a one off visit. I’ve also seen TJ before and his technique was also impeccable. The new location is closer to me than the last but I would follow them all over DFW.

I drove to Dallas specially for a massage with Soulbird. No one showed up for the massage I paid for in advance. I was given excuse there was something wrong with their booking system. So I scheduled with Timmy an make up which he didn’t show up to even though I had a confirmation for. Now they refuse to refund my money after I proved to them it was paid. So I would not use them, the probably will not show up and make up an bogus excuse.

I have been going to T.J. and Timmy now for quite a while, although only just recently in their new space. They are knowledgeable and professional. I have confidence that when I need to take care of myself, whether it is through a Warrior Massage or LET, they will use their expertise to size up and treat the specific issue I may be having at the time.I can’t recommend one of them over the other because each of them , of course, has his own specific expertise and energy. Timmy is an absolute gem. From cupping and deep tissue massage to a gentle relaxing massage, he can do it all. He truly knows the make up of the body and works out knots that you didn’t even know existed. I skip massages on vacations so I can come home to his massages. He pivoted beautifully from his previous spa to this new space and I am forever grateful that he is dedicated to continuing to bring wellness to us in Dallas. This location has easy parking in the garage behind Halal Guys and the space is one cozy, comfortably lit room. As long as he is here, he’ll have a customer in me!

I had my first appointment with Timmy after struggling to find someone genuine about my needs and goals of healing in mind. I could not have asked for a better experience. I opted for a massage with cupping. The process was explained to me, not only the “how” but also the “why” which was so important and helpful in continuing health at home. I have used both Timmy and TJ for my massages. I typically visit one of them after months of hard workouts and gymnastics practices. All I can say is that I should be going more because it’s magic there. I walk out feeling better every time! The atmosphere is very calming and it’s pretty easy to fall into a trance. Timmy is such a lovely person who happens to be an amazing masseuse! He is compassionate and intuitive which makes for a very personalized experience. He understands anatomy very well which I think allows him to work through a variety of issues even better. I feel like he has a magnet to all my ailments in my body and can work them out. I’ve also tried cupping and a lymphatic treatment with Timmy. Both were positive experiences in which he took the time to explain the process and benefits to why it’s helpful. My experience with this spa was nothing short of excellent and also done in two parts. The first being the consultation where Bree was extremely knowledgeable and forthcoming about my skin and my daily routine. I recommend going into the consult with an open mind and being susceptible to constructive feedback on your skin, routine, products, etc. I liked that she was honest. She gave me some homework to do leading up to my actual facial which I did diligently. The second part was the actual facial where some time had lapse since our initial consult and she could tell I had done what she recommended to do leading up to day of my appointment. The facial in itself was great! I was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Throughout the process, I occasionally had questions about what she was doing and once again her transparency did not fail. In the end, I was happy with the results. After the entire thing was done, several hours later and even waking up the next day my skin looked youthful and glowing. I will be honest and say that after a facial, your skin will always look better later in the evening and also the next day. Your face (like your body) needs some time to heal. I felt confident and beautiful that night (as a man I’m not afraid to use that adjective to describe myself) and I received several compliments and looks the next day. I highly recommend this place and especially Bree’s service. I have already booked another appointment in which I’m excited about it! Call and book your appointment with Bree today! Gem of a place! Performance drive physical therapists. Came for sports therapy following the Dallas Marathon. Thoroughly examined. PT asked lots of questions. Assessment was spot on. Treatment was prescribed in the BAWR and follow up was sent to do at home between visits. BAWR stands for Bishop Arts Wellness & Recovery and they do exactly that. Age range of clients when I have been at the BAWR has been late teens – seniors. They offer med-spa facials and IV Therapy. The IV recovery following my runs has been amazing. Going to try the collagen IV next. Go see Alex and his team this week!

I sent my daughter to see Marcel after she had recently lost a friend. What he did for her was amazing and I cannot recommend him enough! Prior to Marcel, she had never seen a medium or any intuitive for that matter and he definitely does what he was put here to do-help people. I cannot fully speak to her experience, but I had a strange one that had to be because of him-and I wasn’t even there with them-I had dropped her off. After I dropped her off I went to the gas station to pick up a drink (probably 10-15 minutes after I dropped her off) and my phone rings. I had no idea who it was at that point so I did not answer. I shoved the phone back in my purse. Then it rings again as I exit the store. I look at the phone more thoroughly and notice the call is coming from a previous medium I had contacted for my daughter. She had never responded so I found Marcel. As I open the car door, the phone rings again. Finally I decide to call back to let her know I was no longer in need of services. When I do, someone picks up. I can hear female voices talking with each other in the distance. Then a child’s voice comes through. They start talking, babbling something in a language only another baby can understand. Okay, so a baby had gotten ahold of the phone. It’s a common thing, no big deal. I talk playfully with the baby for a minute or two and then hang up. Immediately the phone rings again-I’m hoping its the medium. Nope. Its the baby, they have more to say. I allow them to babble, I playfully speak back and then hang up. They call again-I dont pick up this time. I have a new voice message. They call again-I do not pick up-voice message. About 20 back to back phone calls later, and 4 voicemails, I ended up having to block the number just to make it stop. At first I assumed it was just a freaky accident. Then an hour later my daughter called me to come pick her up from Marcels. She gets in the car and I ask her how did it go. I could tell she had been crying.Staring out the front window she responded in a soft, drawn out way,”Good.” Then she turned to me, “He asked if you had lost a child a long time ago?”It was one of the first things he’d asked her.She knew I had, so responded accordingly. Apparently the baby had shown up in their session and Marcel said they were doing “baby things.” He didn’t go further with that because it was my daughters session and that’s not what she was there for. This little piece of information blew me away and, suddenly, the reason for the persistent calls I had received earlier became clear. It was simply the baby that I had loved, even before birth, reaching out to me. I teared up as I retold the experience of the strange calls to her and to this day, still have the eerie voice messages stored on my laptop and phone.Thank you Marcel for whatever it was that you, probably inadvertently, did that day.

My adult son and I went to see Marcel. To say it was an amazing experience is an understatement. I went in cautious but open to the experience. Marcel spent the first bit explaining what to expect and I appreciated this info because it set the tone for the session. During the session, I was careful not reveal anything about myself or family and he didn’t ask unless it related to the topic at hand. The things he brought up couldn’t have been lucky guesses or by watching us. There were details that only we knew. I left with a sense of heeling and that I could begin to look forward and stop reliving the past. I plan to go again and have already recommended him to other family.

Our session with Marcel was amazing, words won’t even do justice. My mother and I recently lost someone we love so it felt great to know that your loved ones are really with you every step of the way even though they may not be here physically. I truly appreciate this experience and recommend Marcel. His upbeat, honest and patient personality made it such a relaxing experience. As a first timer, it’s important to be around someone who focuses on your healing process after losing a loved one. I was on the fence but went in with an open mind. This was an experience I would recommend for anyone having a hard time with loss. I lost my first husband to cancer and my second husband 2 years later to cardiac arrest. I am finally starting the grieving process thanks to meeting with Marcel. I will definitely return periodically. It has helped me not only finally start the grieving process it has helped me in my spiritual, emotional and mental journey into finding myself. Being my first time seeking out a medium, I was half expecting to have to settle for a few “fakes” in my journey. As it happens I hit gold on my first try! My reading with Marcel could not have been more spot on. It was helpful, insightful, hard hitting (in the best sense) and left zero doubt that he was communicating with my loved ones. The physical therapist on Camp Wisdom and the physical therapist on Colorado are excellent. They really work with body aches and mental defeat. I can’t thank them enough, I have had so many surgeries and knee replacements and they used empathy and passion helping me to heal and to get functional.

Will Herritage is an amazing therapist with awesome energy. You can tell that he really loves what he does and cares about his patients. The facility is very clean and conveniently located at Colorado and Zang and has parking right in front. Highly highly recommended.

These people are over-charging for their services. Because I had two health insurance policies, a primary and a secondary, they decided to bilk Blue Cross, Blue Shield by charging over twice the industry standard price for their services. My secondary insurer refused to pay anything since my primary had already paid the industry standard. I got stuck with the balance.A few months after my physical therapy with these people, I had a surgery on my back and used The Carrell Clinic for therapy. Not only were they better, but they charged a more reasonable rate, less than half of Baylor, Scott White, which was fully covered by my insurance. They are taking advantage of the system and should not be able to get away with it. Stay away!

I have vestibular problems and associated balance/chronic dizziness. I have improved significantly since going to Valerie for PT. I quickly discovered she is more than a PT but also a personal health advocate and coach. Her PT skills and super friendly, optimistic personality have been crucial to my recovery and outlook towards my physical issues. I feel very fortunate to have Valerie as a PT and cannot recommend her enough to others.
