For the past two years I have suffered from chronic lower back pain. At times, it would be so bad that I would have difficulty walking for prolonged periods of time. I have seen other chiropractors, however, none managed to resolve the issue; I would leave appointments with the pain subsided, only to have it resurface in a half hour or so. Not to mention, appointments were often rushed through and the quality of care poor.A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Alberty, and thanks to him, my lower back issue has been resolved – I feel like a brand new person! He has such a keen ability to diagnose and treat; he is very thorough during his appointments; and, he provides quality service. For those looking for a great chiropractor, I highly recommend!

*Friendly Disclaimer:I am not the type of person to write a review for “anything!”But, wOw, I’ve never been so impressed by a chiropractic service provider! The Link, is an a-m-a-z-i-n-g place that satisfies my physical senses (smell, eyes, hearing, touch)! As soon as i walked in the door I was greeted by a pleasant fragrance and aroma! The Link is my kind of place, it’s thoughtfully decorated with a beautiful, contemporary decor!I was invited to relax & receive my treatment (s) in an atmosphere of good music (softly playing in the background, thanks to Alexa ).The big pillowy massage chair absorbed & massaged my “whole body” (feet, legs, arms, back, & neck)!…and when it came time for Dr. Wright to work his magic, with his hands & special tools (I should probably be a case study for students, my muscles were so tight, from years of neglect) that he had to pull out his “big-guns of chiropractic tools,” otherwise we were going to be there all day!!! LolBut, Dr. Wright got me together! After all of this, I felt super relieved of my chronic back pain!I’m talking about: Standing up Straight; No Pain in my Back/Body, Instant Improvement in my Walking; No More Neck Strain!….and just think all of this happened on Day 1!!!I can’t even imagine what else I have to look forward to!If you are in constant pain, have paid multiple visits, to various Chiropractors, it’s time to try Dr. Wright and his Team, at the Link!Trust me, you’ll walk out feeling brand new!As far as I’m concerned, finding Dr. Wright/The Link, has changed my life!!It’s my most significant gift thus far, in 2021!!!~to be continued,A Happy/Pain Free patient at the LinkV. Dr. Alberty and Dr. Wright are PHENOMENAL!!! They get you in quickly with minimal paperwork and really listen to your needs. The facility is brand new, state of the art and beautiful. Soooo many great resources within their walls. Best facility downtown Cleveland!

We moved and we miss The Link, there staff is awesome, they go the extra mile. Besides the life changing chiropractic adjustments, they have lots of massaging machines that loosen you up and make you feel great. I felt like the rusty tin man in the wizard of oz before going, and felt like dancing afterwards.

Dr. Alberty and his staff are the friendliest you will find in all of Ohio. Dr. Alberty is quite skilled in chiropractic. Out of all the commercial, racist, conglomerate hospitals, he and his staff were the only ones that truly helped decrease my pain. I highly recommend him. Link chiropractic is the only thing I miss about Ohio.

I came into town on a business trip with my back in full spasm mode. I was dying. I got on yelp and found these guys, and they were open into the early evening which was killer. They hooked me up big time. If the gal up front is hoarse, it’s probably because she was singing at a concert the night before. 🙂 Great people, great place!

Dr. Alberty is the best!! Their location from downtown Cleveland makes it easy to get to before during or after work. I’m always quickly in and out. Plus they treat you like family.

In 2014 I began limping from the effects of a bad knee. In 2015 I had a knee replacement, and followed that up with hip replacement surgery one year later. Despite the corrective surgery, I still limped. My body was out of whack from nearly three years of limping. I had the good fortune of choosing Mayfield Physical Therapy for help. Within two months, Brad Jenkins, D.P.T and Christine Tiell, Physical Therapy Assistant, had realigned my body, specifically my back and hips, and had me walking with a normal gait. The staff was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Therapy sessions were done in a well laid-out atmosphere, with advanced, yet easy to use equipment. Billing my insurance company was handled without a problem by Office Manager Peggy Clarke.I am extremely grateful for the care I received at Mayfield Physical Therapy, and would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need.Warren F

I miss the Movement Factory!! I moved away from Cleveland a few years ago and it’s STILL my favorite Pilates studio (yes, NYC, it beats anything you offer). Cool location, knowledgable teachers, class times vary for different schedules, different types of classes too. I still am on the mailing list because I miss it so! 🙂 I only ever took Pilates classes, socan’t speak about yoga, booty bar, etc but I hear they are excellent as well. One suggestion for first time visitors: go EARLY. Both studios are a little difficult to locate in the building, but worth it when you find it!!

I haven’t danced in years and I’ve been looking for a straight up hip hop dance class since moving back to the Cleveland area. This was exactly what I was looking for, a place to learn and dance hip hop choreography. I like Zumba as much as the next person but all the Zumba classes I’ve found are aerobic-intensive which makes sense but it’s not a dance class. I haven’t been able to find a place that does hip hop for adults where you either learn technique and choreography or at the very least choreography. The Hip Hop class is on Wednesdays at 8 PM. It’s normally $15 for the 60 minute class but they have sales and specials every so often.I came in, I stretched and then the instructor broke down a particular piece of choreography that we learned and then practiced, both with and without the music. We would then move on to learn a few more counts of the choreography and practice the entire thing. I loved it!The instructor broke it down decently and I had no issues following him. I will say the only downside that I had about my entire experience was finding this place. 8 PM in the fall/winter is dark…and this place is in an active warehouse…it was very off putting and I didn’t want to get out of my car. I was lucky I spotted a girl who ended up also going to the class and had been there before.I’m definitely excited to come back!

I’ve learned so much about Pilates and it’s benefits since I started taking classes here. I was going to physical therapy after having my son and have found Pilates to be just as beneficial for strengthening my core (also way more fun and much cheaper!)All of the instructors know their stuff and make me laugh, I always feel like I got a great workout while feeling relaxed too. I have only tried the mat/ball classes, but want to check out the reformer classes soon. Book online before you go to reserve a spot and keep an eye out for monthly specials

I was surprised by my fiancé for a date night and we ended up at a dance studio. Alyssa, the owner, made me feel incredibly comfortable even though I suck at dancing. The night went by in a blur and I honestly wanted to stay longer. This was the first of many sessions and I can’t wait to come back. Never in a million years would I expect this to be so much fun, but Alyssa and seeing that smile (AND MOVES) by my fiancé were to die for.

I’d been looking for a great studio for a long time. I’m so happy that I found The Movement Factory. Their classes are challenging and unique every time. Their price are also affordable and well worth the class content that is provided. With Pilates, Dance, Yoga, Hula Hoop, and more, the selection can’t be beat!

I have been proud to call this studio my home away from home for a year now. A year ago, I quit smoking and this place helped keep me motivated and fit! There are a vast variety of classes to choose from. I have personally enjoyed everything from Springboard to Barre and Pound! The owner treats her clients like a second family! Pilates has strengthened my core and my back and has helped me alleviate much pain! The Movement Factory makes exercise and fitness fun!!
Kim Z. rated 1 stars on 10/6/2015
Before signing up for one of their online specials, I decided to take a ride down there to see if it would be some place I’d feel comfortable going to. Uh, NOOO! Could they have picked a more unattractive, uninviting place?? No sign. You’re supposed to go through rear “dock doors” of a manufacturing plant and climb the concrete steps to the third floor. There were company vans from the factory in the back and I didn’t even know where to safely park. Very secluded setup. With the shorter days and approaching time change there’s no way I’d feel at ease going to/from my car or in/out of the place. The Movement Factory needs to….MOVE.

I’ve been attending dance classes here for almost two years and it is a place I always look forward to returning to. Alyssa offers a wide variety of dance classes for adults that you can take week after week and never get bored. Whether you’re looking for a once in a while experience in a dance studio or are looking to rekindle your relationship with your favorite dance form, the Movement Factory is a top notch studio and I can’t wait for my next class!

I’m so happy I found The Movement Factory! TMF is a newly renovated and fully equipped studio with a lot of light and a great view in the historic Lake Erie Building. The owner/lead trainer Alyssa is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in teaching fitness and dance. TMF is very affordable and is one of the very few (if not the only) places I found in Cleveland that offer a combination of Yoga, Pilates, Zumba, PiYo, and adult dance classes. The $15 new student pass is a great way to get started and try any class you like in one week (make sure to try Springboard Pilates. which is usually $18/class alone). I have been going to TMF since its opening in February and am really happy with the results.
Kelly B. rated 5 stars on 2/15/2015
The Movement Factory is a hidden fitness gem. Tucked away in a huge industrial building, I’ve probably passed by it dozens of times without even knowing it was there. That finally changed when I had an opportunity to try out their Pound Fitness class. After getting a bit lost in the building, a nice instructor found me and led me where I needed to go. So, tip number one: arrive early, if you’re directionally challenged. Once I found the studio, everyone was super nice and not bothered that I was a little late. Tip number two: you should bring your own yoga mat, but if you forget, you can rent one for $1. The class itself was a lot of fun. I’m not the most rhythmically gifted person, but I kept up the best I could. Also, as someone who does quite a bit of cardio, including Insanity, I expected this class to be a bit easy for me. WRONG! I was so tired out and sore, which is exactly what I want from a fitness class. Can’t wait to check out the rest of their classes!

Geoff, the instructor at Studio Yoga Studio, is an exceptional teacher. His deep knowledge and passion for yoga shine through in his classes. Geoff has a unique ability to guide students through the practice with clarity and mindfulness, ensuring that each individual feels supported and challenged at their own pace. His instructions are clear, and he provides helpful modifications for students of all levels, making the classes accessible to everyone. The variety of classes offered at Studio Yoga Studio is impressive. From gentle restorative sessions to more dynamic Vinyasa flows, there is something for every yogi. The class schedule is well-structured, with a good balance between morning and evening sessions, making it convenient for those with busy schedules. What sets Studio Yoga Studio apart is the sense of community that is fostered within its walls. The staff and fellow practitioners are friendly, supportive, and welcoming, creating a safe and inclusive space for yogis to connect and grow together. It’s evident that Geoff and the entire team genuinely care about their students’ well-being and strive to create a positive and nurturing environment.Overall, I highly recommend Studio Yoga Studio to anyone seeking a transformative yoga experience. The studio is one of my favorite places for my very niche style workouts. I absolutely love the aerial silks and aerial hammock classes. The instructors for each are so skilled, knowledgeable, and able to really break down all the moves so that anyone at any level can walk out of the class feeling very accomplished. Special shout out to Vanessa who is my favorite. The staff are always incredible, well knowledgeable and just good people. The facilities are clean, well-kept and provide for all my needs. Lastly, the owner Sara really makes the space feel like you’re coming home to family.

I am so loyal to The Studio. I love it here and will tell anyone who will listen how special it is. As I’ve said before, on vibes alone, this is indisputably the most beautiful studio in Northeast Ohio. They infuse personality into their space through an amazing crystals selection, endless Buddhas and Ganeshas and beautiful colors. It means a lot to me to practice in a space that has warm and inviting energy. Practicing yoga in cold and impersonal places doesn’t work for me.It is also VERY hard to find Yin classes around Northeast Ohio. What is up with that?! The Studio has a Yin class *almost* every night, which I am so grateful for. Advanced hot power vinyasa is just NOT my thing and you don’t have to practice that type of yoga here if you don’t want to. Yin yoga is a slower, stretching based yoga about mind-body connection. Jen and Shannon have been both incredible teachers to practice Yin with. I was fearful of yoga for a long time and Jen truly has helped me in a way I cannot describe.I absolutely love that they are on ClassPass. I have physical limitations and go through ebbs and flows of when I am able to workout versus when I cannot. Because they are on ClassPass I am able to attend when I can. Overall, I cannot recommend The Studio enough to anyone brand new to yoga or looking for classes that aren’t terrifying.

I love this studio! I just started coming here and I really like all of the teachers. They are so kind! The Studio really has a community feel to it, by offering tea, books to read, and a couch to chill on, and in my opinion, that makes for a high quality studio. It’s very spacious and I love the various offerings it has like Thai massage, infrared sauna, and even silks! Dynamic studio led by people who make you feel comfortable, no matter how far along your yoga journey you are. Thank you to The Studio!

It has done so by expanding the size of the traditional studio, and offers Pilates classes for up to 12 people at a time. It provides a welcoming, safe, and supportive space to experience Pilates in an intimate class setting, utilizing state of the art equipment, guided by a highly qualified certified instructor with specific attention to each member.

Club Pilates in Broadview Heights is amazing! The teachers are competent, caring, and able to flex their training based on the needs of the class. The staff is supportive and encouraging, and the classes are appropriately challenging and satisfying. I would suggest this pilates gym to anyone – no matter your level of expertise in pilates.

Club Pilates is a really great way to get into shape. There are SO MANY variations of classes/teachers/techniques. There is no limitations here. Joining has been amazing for my physical and mental health. I look forward to my classes every week. Plus, the studio is always clean and the equipment is fantastic. Working out on the reformer is life changing.

I could not be happier with the PT and care provided by CHC Physical Therapy. I was suffering from severe knee pain and limping because of it. CHC came highly recommended from my husband, who they helped with severe shoulder pain. Even though I have to drive completely across town to get there, (Cleveland Heights to Fairview Park), after the very first session it was obvious to me that the drive was worth it. I had complex issues with my femoral nerve. It took time and lots of attention to my PT exercises on my own as well as regular visits, to the amazing team at CHC. Now not only do I no longer limp but am back to the sport I love, figure skating, as an over 60 adult skater. Everyone at CHC is a consummate professional, dedicated to healing. and they are kind and caring, always providing detailed personal attention. I feel seen, heard and well-cared for. I cannot count how many others I have recommended their practice to.

If you need Physical Therapy look no further, all the professionals at CHC are true healers that you can trust, I say this based on my personal experience! 10 years ago I was diagnosed with sciatica by my PCP and PT was recommended. After reading reviews, I decided on CHC even though the office was not close to my home. It was the right decision, I worked with Jeanne O’Malley, who had my pain gone in a few weeks. Jeanne showed me what I needed to do to prevent the sciatica from returning, I still do those exercises daily and have not had a re-occurrence. Then a few years ago during the pandemic with all the gyms shut down I was walking in my neighborhood and took a very nasty fall injuring my shoulder that resulted in constant pain and extremely limited mobility. It took several months but the result is my shoulder is fully rehabilitated, I have no pain what so ever and no residual issues which is pretty amazing because I’m 72! Having lived through it and in retrospect I find my full recovery nothing short of miraculous and I have Kyle O’Donnell to thank for leading my treatment. Kyle was professional, thorough, positive and encouraging. I never gave up because Kyle and the entire team of CHC therapists never gave up on me. While Kyle lead my treatment, I saw several other therapists at CHC from time to time and I feel I learned something from each of them that assisted in my recovery. Thank you Jeanne, Kyle and your entire staff, you guys are super stars!

I was having neck and back pain and my primary care physician referred me to CHC Physical Therapy. Best recommendation ever. If you’re experiencing some sort of pain, let them check it out. I guarantee you will leave there better informed and likely feeling better, physically. The entire team is outstanding. Knowledgeable caring effective. Highly recommend.

For at least 2 years, my mother was a patient here. The beautiful facilities, pleasantly warm pool temperature, and the guidance of several encouraging physical therapists gave my mother, a lifelong swimmer, a chance to enjoy a softened variation of her former workout. For her, this also became a comforting place to regularly relate to others with similar orthopedic issues. Comparing progress notes with fellow therapy patients and learning about their journeys was as valuable to my mother as the actual physical therapy. She was able to experience the joy of water exercise in a safe, well-planned environment. The open pool hours were very accommodating, the monthly fee reasonable, and the safe, well-managed facility were very attractive features of the post-physical therapy experience that is offered.Though I am an athletic swimmer and not as much in need of physical therapy, I plan to maintain a monthly membership at Peter B. Lewis to ease my arthritic challenges. I am open to the possibility that I would engage in both the dry land and aquatic physical therapies that are offered here.

I have been a member here since 2008. I have had physical therapy at least times for my neck, back, and general strengthening. The therapists are excellent. I have had both aquatic and regular (land) therapy. I use the pool for exercise. The warm water pool has benefits that regular swimming pools do not have. The pool equipment is provided and enhances the water exercises. I have also worked with a therapist in the exercises room in a program designed for me. LAC is my go-to fitness place. Don’t know what I would do without it.

I have been a member here since it opened over 15 years ago. During that time, I have had numerous sessions with the therapists and also work out regularly on my own.Every therapist that I have worked with has been competent and caring and I can recommend them highly. The pool is the real gem in the facility. It is kept at a comfortable temperature and has various depths to accommodate all manner of exercise and therapy. The management of the facility has done an excellent job of accommodating individual and supervised therapy in these days of social distancing.

As I have come here over the past few months I have been so excited every time I walk through the door. The front desk staff is wonderful and always willing to help out with everything that is needed. Reis that is usually there at the later times always has a happy smile on her face as well as just goes the extra mile by asking how my day is going. I feel like family as soon as I walk in no matter the day or the time. It feels like home.I have had some major hip problem and being younger in my 20’s I finally felt like I had a therapist that really helped me. I have had the pleasure to work with a few therapist that worked as a team to help me figure out the best exercises to help me with what I need.I will now bring be bringing my father to therapy because I know here is truly the best place.Highly recommended!

My daughters and I presently receive PT at Peter B Lewis Aquatic Therapy and have for at least 1.5 years. Our services from the PT department have been nothing short of outstanding!! All the therapist we have worked with (Colleen, Eran, Steve, and Teresa) have excellent clinical skills, and compassion for their patients. They truly go above and beyond the call of duty! My daughters and I truly look forward to our visits. The office staff is also very friendly, patient, and efficient. I can’t even begin to imagine how anyone could rate this rehab facility otherwise. Thank you to the PT department for helping us as you truly have a tremendous impact in our life’s and dealing with our genetic condition with out your support would be a lonely road. God bless!

I truly do not understand or agree with the poor reviews. The care i have gotten here has been wonderful. Finally a place that understands my condition (other places i have gone simply did not) and how to treat it! They will keep you as long as needed. Truly have been god send angels for me!

Pros: I love the configuration of the pool. Since it is a therapy pool, the shallow and deep ends are reversed. The warm water temperature is so welcomed. The staff was very accommodating during my hip/back therapy. Con: My only complaint are their fees. The monthly fee is reasonable only if you can attend every day or five days a week, but not for people who can only attend one or two days a week. Even though they pro rate by the week, I wish they would charge by the visit. If I am only able to attend once a week, it ends up over $18.00 a visit or even twice a week is about $9.00 …unacceptable.

Great therapists! But I misunderstood anInvoice and overpaid by $65. When I tried to get reimbursed I was first declined then when I explained more I was given another phone number to call. I called a few times and left messages but never heard back. I would advise caution if you take them your therapy business!

chlorine and pee-pee the crowd is old and leaky but you get floaties. Not too impressed. Sloppy and rumpled front desk people proceeded to describe the facility by saying “rich people come here!” Huh? WTF? Locker rooms are laughingly small, and ridiculously inconvenient. One chair, zero room. It is literally cheek to cheek in there. Gross. I’d give them a C- in the cleanliness column. The pool has enough chlorine to peel a few layers of your skin off. Billing department is clueless, sending you bills 7 months later. Next round of PT wont be there. One cool thing, they have treadmills on platforms that slowly lower into the water, elevator-like. As the floor goes down, and the water starts to rise its like being in a movie. I kept wanting to hear “I expect you to die Mr. Bond.” as the water got deeper.Carry on.

I started at the Peter B Lewis Aquatic Center in May 2016. My doctor referred me for therapy for lumbar spine arthritis pain. They use a team approach for therapy, which is great, because I got best thinking and practices for my recovery from four skilled, personable, and caring therapists. I made excellent progress in eight sessions, and I liked the center so much that I joined in order to continue going to aquatic exercise classes and talks on health topics. There are always therapists and exercise specialists available to answer questions. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and seems heavily chlorinated but the facility is well ventilated. Shower and changing facilities are cleaned constantly. This is a great place!

THIS is the rehab we prayed for. Our daughter was in a car wreck as the passenger. She suffered injuries to her wrists and her leg and ankle. She is a ballerina, 17 years old. Her recovery will require extensive treatments multiple times a week. WHAT A BLESSING to find SPORTS AND SPINE. The place is immaculate.. The therapists are professional, kind and thoughtful. Even the front desk team and the owners are exemplary. She actually LIKES going to therapy. Her pediatrician, a tough one, recommended this rehab, thank God.facebook.com/sportspine

I’m an Olympic Athlete and at the end of last season I severely injured the nerve in my right arm. When I walked into the office in August I couldn’t open a water bottle or turn a key without pain. But now my arm feels as good as it did before the injury. Everyone is professional and most important; they are exceptional. I know I’m making a full recovery. 5/5 will do again.

What a professional and knowledgeable group of people at Sports and Spine Physical Therapy, Inc. I am so excited to sing their praises. This was an absolute positive encounter from beginning to end. I went in with over a month long pain in my neck and shoulder from an injury. When my first visit with Angela was over there was a clear improvement. I was able to sleep that night. Throughout the next three visits, after following her clear and spot on homework recommendations, my overall pain went from an eight to a two (and ultimately to zero)! The entire atmosphere is incredibly friendly and the administrative staff is polite, professional and efficient. I highly recommend that you leave your pain at Sports and Spine Physical Therapy in Beachwood, OH.

About Zubal Books
Zubal Books buys and sells scholarly, rare, out of print and new books and periodicals. We purchase entire libraries (private and corporate) and then get the books back into the hands of the students, researchers and collectors that need them. Our specialties are math, physics, chemistry, history, science fiction, engineering, philosophy, religion, and antiquarian journals and periodical literature. Although we closed our doors to walk-in shoppers in 1997, we continue to provide our amazing collection of hard to find books at our website
History: Zubal Books was founded in 1961 by current owner John T. Zubal. He, along with wife Marilyn, sons Michael and Tom, and daughter Jean, continue to provide quality books to collectors, researchers and students. The company began in John’s basement at his home and over the last half century has ballooned to occupy warehouses on two city blocks on the near west side of Cleveland. The Zubals enjoy purchasing large libraries (private, institutional and corporate) as well as individual books and smaller collections. Zubal Books specializes in technical books (math, chemistry, physics engineering), history, philosophy, religion, art and most other scholarly fields.

Zubal Books lists a great stock online and in the last year I bought from them several times. The books arrived well packed in a timely manner. Unfortunately, as the year went on a pattern emerged, namely that they regularly fail to properly describe damages to their books. It isn’t surprising that old books have damages; however, professional dealers (who belong to the ABAA for example) clearly describe any injuries, and Zubal doesn’t. My final purchase was an antique volume they listed for several hundred dollars. They noted it had wear, but didn’t specify what wear, so I wrote them and asked whether the binding was holding and promptly received back a reply assuring me it was, so I proceeded to buy it. However, when the book arrived it was literally split into two pieces (and not due to any problem in shipping)! When I then sent them an inquiry with a clear picture of the damage I received no reply for a week. After I persisted and resent visual documentation of the damage Zubal suggested all it needed was a line of adhesive glue which he offered to apply personally if the volume were returned! (Actually, when the binding on a 14 pound book has literally split in half what is required is an expensive sewing job by a professional book binder.) Regrettably, despite their interesting inventory, I cannot recommend Zubal Books.
