I’ve been visiting Bend and had a very tight IT band and Hamstring and was able to get squeezed in for an appointment with Natasha. The massage and body work (cupping, Gua Sha) was amazing and the massage was thorough and deep. I’m very thankful for this place and Natasha! Highly recommend.

Had a 90 minute massage with Sally Champa. I’ve been getting massages my entire adult life and Sally provided the best massage I’ve ever had. Very strong hands, doesn’t shy away from deep pressure, and listens to her client and provides exactly what you request. Highly, highly recommended.

I’ve received 3 fantastic massages from Desi at EarthTouch and would unequivocally recommend EarthTouch, and Desi specifically, to anyone dealing with residual or targeted soreness from an active lifestyle. I run 40-50 miles per week and Desi has helped me address IT bands issues I’ve developed recently. My IT band soreness has greatly improved and I’m confident that’s due in part to Desi’s focused and thoughtful approach to my body’s needs.

WOWWWW!!!!! And the worst part is, I am not saying “wow” in any positive way…in fact, the complete opposite!!!! It’s pretty sad for somebody to walk into an establishment and feel like they’re not good enough….It’s even worse when you treat someone, especially in the town I have lived most of my life, like they are trash!!!!! I bought this massage for my husband, as a gift, after his father died….. Which some people do to help the ones they love most relax and hopefully make them feel better for even a small amount of time in life!!!!!I chose to give my business to this place because of the reviews and boy was I way wrong!!!! My husband and I make a good amount of money which is irrelevant, but this company needs to realize that it does not matter what people wear and it does not matter how people look!!! What matters is people!!!! I initially thought I had scheduled an appointment for a massage, unfortunately I have now discovered a session for a “professional” to make my husband feel like the worst person on the planet and because “he hasn’t previously been able to take care of his body” he is essentially beneath his therapists.I have purchased over 500 massages in my life, and congratulations for being not only the least relaxing massage but the one establishment that clearly does not actually care about the comfort and relaxation of a client!

Jami worked wonders on my neglected shoulders and neck. I prefer a medium to deep pressure massage and she did not disappoint. I had some gnarly knots and she worked them pretty hard. I will definitely be back whenever I visit Sunriver. Highly recommend.

It was my orthodontist who referred me to Brittany for PT for my jaw. After breaking 3 crowns due to my grind and slide chewing motion, along with my perpetual headaches and achy jaw from clenching all the time – it was obvious a PT was needed. Enter Brittany Estuesta. She’s knowledgeable, patient, empathetic and has a great sense of humor. She patiently worked with me to release the tension in my jaw, neck and shoulders. In the office we worked through jaw and neck exercises. She stressed that “consistency was key” and for homework provided a variety of exercises which I completed in between visits. Over time we worked through the majority of the issues, but every once in a while, I catch myself slipping back into old habits. Thanks to Brittany, I have the knowledge and exercises to help me refocus and correct the bad habits before they become major issues. I’d recommend her to anyone!!

I worked with Audrey and Alex for knee pain and Headaches. Both PTs were amazing doing manual therapy adjustments and myo facial releases and then worked on functional exercises to improve my faulty movements that I was completely unaware of. It only took a few treatments for welcomed success! Thank Aud and Alex!!

Audrey is such a great physical therapist. She helped my teenager heal from a knee injury and participate in cross country. She has both an impressive knowledge of physiology and a patient, enthusiastic manner. We really appreciated her coaching and warmth. My son has a bedrock of knowledge that he can apply to creating more balance and strength in his body and the exercises/tools to assist him in being successful.

I am a 71 year old active male who has had the absolute pleasure of working with Audrey Thompson! Audrey helped me recover from a hip replacement surgery and subsequent rupture of my quadriceps tendon surgery. Audrey is extremely positive, passionate, dedicated, knowledgeable, and personable! Thanks to her expertise and direction, I am back to my enjoyment of hiking, cycling, and soon to be downhill skiing next winter! I strongly encourage anyone seeking an outstanding physical therapist to connect with Audrey!

After every session that I have with Laura Cooper I leave feeling great. Great in the body, and great in the mind. This is because Laura personifies the term “care giver.” At the beginning of each session it’s clear that she’s thought a lot about what might help me prior. She has a plan. Every time. Along the way there’s fun conversation and informative conversation. Even fun informative conversation! As a close friend of mine put it, “Laura’s got the gift.” She’s a true talent, yes, however it’s even more about how deeply she thinks about her patients and how creative she is with solutions. She is such a lovely person, inside and out. I don’t think I could ever say enough nice things about Laura Cooper!

These folks are great. Been through many weeks os PT after knee surgery and more recently on my lower back due to an auto accident. I know my knee would not be in great shape with out PT. Very knowledgeable and caring staff at all levels. They are very organized to get you in and out on time. Not something you see in most health care settings.

I’m an extremely active senior who ended up with a compression fracture of a vertebrae in my back several months ago. Once surgically repaired I called Chris Cooper to start physical therapy as soon as possible. I’ve used Chris in the past and his knowledge, level of professionalism, and dedication make him the best PT I’ve ever used. If you want results and a specific exercise program that meets your individual needs I encourage you to visit Chris and his staff. I am back snowshoeing, hiking, and downhill skiing at 74 thanks to this guy!

Fabulous! Last fall I came in to address my knee pain and Chuck worked with me on specific exercises, do’s and don’ts, and overall knee health. The verbal and visual clues that Chuck provided were extremely helpful in doing the routines properly and made them easy to remember. My lateral meniscus had been torn and it was starting to “act up” again – after working with Chuck and staying on track, I’ve been pain free for months now and back to enjoying lots of hiking, spinning and snowshoeing again! Thanks so very much!

I was looking for a Pilates class while I was staying in Bend for the night. Trusty Yelp pointed me to Bend Pilates. I called them to find out their schedules for the evening and they had a 4:30pm slot available. Perfect!I arrived a few minutes early to fill out the usual waivers. The standard drop in rate is $27. This Pilates studio did not require the grippy socks my home studio in Seattle usually mandates. In this class, we would be utilizing 3 machines (standard reformer, chair reformer, and mat reformer). It is a relatively small studio- max of 5 students per class. The instructor was wonderful! She was patient in explaining each of the moves and gave me plenty of pointers and tips along the way. We did great core work and I thoroughly enjoyed trying out new machines. The one downside? I didn’t get to really sweat in this class (maybe it just wasn’t the right class for me?). But I will definitely be back to try another class the next time I am visiting Bend.

Jennifer N. rated 5 stars on 4/18/2019
Wonderful studio! I had never been to a Pilates studio before, so I admit I have nothing to compare this to. However, I will say that my experience was fantastic. I had some trepidation going in for the first time as I am shy, over 50 and out of shape. I also have minor neck and back injuries which other exercises (including yoga) have aggravated but with the modifications they gave me the Pilates exercises did not hurt at all. I expected to wake up sore this morning, but instead my back feels better than it has in the last two years. Everyone there made me feel welcome. The fact that they have lots of parking was also nice.
Danielle M. rated 5 stars on 3/22/2020
Bend Pilates is as good as it gets! The studio’s instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and diverse, allowing them to accommodate ever type of clientele you can imagine. I’ve been practicing Pilates at the studio for almost two years, and the instructors have measurably improved my strength, flexibility and agility. There isn’t a single class at the studio that I don’t recommend; it’s that good!

I just completed a new customer introductory series of 3 one-on-one sessions with Alexa. I was very impressed by her professionalism, knowledge and offers of support. I’ve come to pilates to heal on old back injury, and Alexa sincerely listened to my goals and constantly checked in with how I was feeling during our sessions and made all the necessary corrections to keep my spine in alignment and my hamstring from cramping. I’m happy to be continuing on in group classes.

The BEST Pilates studio in Bend! Deb and Carolyn are awesome instructors. They are extremely knowledgeable and excellent at keeping us challenged and fit while making it fun. The classes are small and intimate which makes it feel like you are taking a private class. They have a great variety of classes from chair, trap table, reformer and more, so you never get bored. Don’t bother going to any other studio, call Bend Pilates today!

I’ve been doing pilates for years and I am thrilled that Megan appeared in my life. She is SO knowledgable, helpful, kind, caring, and she shifts the movement specifically to help fit your own needs given your personal body issues or healing areas. Just visiting Bend. After getting kicked out of a crossfit class because I was a beginner, we decided to take in a Pilates class. They were so accommodating, got us in quickly and helped guide us through the whole workout. The drop in rate ($27) is pricey. It was worth it though. We will be back for sure. I highly recommend this place!

When referred for physical therapy for fibromyalgia pain, I was not looking forward to going. Every other physical therapist hurt me – and so over the years the pain just kept getting worse. And even worse, I thought fibromyalgia pain was the stuff of hypochondriacs. I was wrong. From the very first contact with the staff at Healing Bridge, I should have known that this was going to be a different experience.First, Allison was able to actually show me – on paper – what fibromyalgia is, so it was something tangible that I could wrap my head around. With that understanding it made the next steps of treating the pain, without drugs, was possible.Allison understands that it’s not just the body that hurts, but the way the brain processes that hurt – and uses that knowledge to incorporate gentle movement, breathing, and teaching the brain how to reverse the fibromyalgia. “My hurts won’t harm me,” gives my head the impetus to continue with daily living – pain free.Allison and the Healing Bridge ARE TRULY a Healing Bridge to a full life.

I have been seeing Allison from about a month now. She is amazing. I have had Physical Therapy off and on for about 20 years. I have not met someone who is so gentle but also so knowledgable. Allison really takes her time with you and I really appreciate that. She listens to you and your body and what it is doing and saying. Thanks Dr. D for sending me to Healing Bridge!

So far my experience at Healing Bridge has been most helpful and compassionate as I am being guided and encouraged by my PT experts to learn how to deal with and reduce the level of chronic pain that has been causing distress for years now. I have been provided with techniques that I use every day to help me to reduce pain levels and to be more conscious of my posture and body tensions as continue the work I do that is so important to me. Thank you! I look forward to continuing to reduce pain levels as time goes by.

I have had chronic pain for about three years. This place has been life changing. It’s judgment free, the majority of the employees are women and most importantly, it works!
Donna S. rated 5 stars on 6/25/2017
It’s taken me a while to write this review, but each day, as I stretch and hike and just go about my daily activities, I realize how healed I am. While in the Peace Corps in Botswana I was medically evacuated for a staph infection in my lumbar spine (nothing to do with Africa, but most likely dental work before my service.) I was in pain, had difficulty walking, and didn’t know how to start exercising again at my first appt. HL was my main therapist, with a few visits with Nancy. Both were professional, compassionate, excellent at listening to my concerns, and shared common sidelines of our lives. I was released after 5 months, and now truly appreciate that I am following my dogs (Botswana rescues) up and down boulders without hesitation or pain. I’m not afraid of the pain that occasionally returns; with HL & Nancy’s common sense advice, I know how to modify my activities. Even the staff at the front desk was very helpful. Thank you, Healing Bridge.

This place is where you want to go if you need physical therapy or adjustments. Dr. Zamboni is kind and very professional, always ready to uplift and do the best he can to serve his patients. His team is sharp and very competent. The environment is very pleasant and clean. I have only good things to say and deep gratitude for what they did for me during these challenging times of pandemic. It was the worst time to have lower, mid and neck pain. I had a car accident 2 1/2 ago, right after birth and my right hip moved causing many other back problems. The massages were so perfect to help to dissolve the muscle scars. The team was very dedicated and patient. I’m now feeling confident and moving again without any pain. Thank you, Dr Z., Ana, Tabi, Shelby and Nichole. You guys are amazing!

My experience here was awkward and disheartening to put it bluntly.I had received a free session and exam at a winter function and was impressed with some of the staff, so I figured why not? Might as well get some sessions in and try to relieve some nagging back and shoulder issues – so I scheduled some time. The visit seemed to go well, lots of good people working there and nice equipment. That wasn’t the issue of my visit, the issue was what transpired in the waiting room while I was in the back getting ultrasound. The Dr. went out front to talk with the staff at the front area and unbeknownst to him the person waiting in the front was my wife. Doc was overheard giving direction to book me so many sessions per week and that “not much we can do for him but it’s slow and we can get some good billing”.They then saw a lady sitting there listening and according to her – looking rather surprised – and quickly moved the conversation to the room behind the reception area.I never went back.Take it for what it’s worth, they really do seem to be able to do good work there and have some great knowledge in place. I was just put off by what was overheard and hope it was in jest or taken out of context in some way shape or form, but I doubt it.

I wish I could rate this company for 10 stars. I was the unfortunate recipient of a crippling lower back and ruptured disc injury in the middle of January, 2022 and immediately started seeing these amazing people. Before having an MRI, Dr.Z was the ONLY doctor that, after examining my x-rays was able to spot my ruptured disc (normally impossible to see on an x-ray) after multiple other doctors saw and said my back was fine. After having very negative experiences with many other PT companies, I was blessed to somehow land at Living Well’s front door and immediately start my treatment. Dr.Z and the rest of the amazing gals that help run the place (who’s knowledge is unmatched) truly and genuinely care about YOU! They have all continuously gone way above an beyond every visit from truly trying to get to know you on a personal level to going through the business headache of obtaining different equipment specifically for your type of injury (even if they already some) and making your time there as memorable and as beneficial as possible. This business makes YOU a priority. The treatment, the care, the family feeling and even the emotional support I’ve received here has been an experience that trumps all other businesses out there. If you haven’t given these guys a shot, I strongly urge you to do so. I promise, you will not be let down. THANK YOU LIVING WELL!!!!!!! You have made one of the most positive impacts, not only on my body but in my life!!!

Great service. I had very bad planter fasciitis. Went to Living Well and after physical therapy it is completely gone and been a year with no pain. They do regular check ups. Highly recommend!

Drs Z and Dan are both very skilled physical therapists. Their approach is personalized to your issues and with a combination of great listening, asking questions, and knowledge of how our body parts work in concert with one another, they develop appropriate and successful treatments. Everyone in the office is great and very welcoming. If I could give them 10 stars, I would.

I have been injured a lot and been to a ton of physical therapy places over the years. Doc Z, Doc B and the whole staff have been great to work with. I had a pretty tricky arthroscopic surgery on my hip that didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. The whole team at Living Well Physical Therapy, helped me work through the post-surgery complications to the point where I can almost function at the level I need to. They came at it from all angles from helpful exercises, in office equipment/technology I’m not going to pretend to understand, and even massage. On top of that, they gave me the tools/exercises that will help keep me preserve what we accomplished moving forward. Also, I love the convenience of gym next door to get into more real exercises as my recovery was progressing. I’m sure there are many great PT places you can go to but what really endeared me to Living Well is the small, personal and very positive atmosphere. They seem to attract people that really want to get better and I looked forward to getting in there to fix a very difficult injury. If it wasn’t for Doc Z’s and Doc B’s perseverance I might not be where I am right now. Thanks to everyone there!

I have been in physical therapy for years. After moving to Bend my wife discovered Living Well Physical Therapy and signed me up for an appointment. The staff are very pleasant. Scheduling is a breeze. I have to say that Dr. Zamboni was able to assess my overall condition and provided a path forward for my overall health in a few short visits. After working with Dr. Z for awhile he recommended that I join their Wellness Program and receive regular massages. I have visited numerous massage therapists over the last 20 years and have to say that Anna has been the most competent. Anna maximizes the time while staying focused on my overall health. She is able to release muscular knots in as little as one visit. She always provides recommendations to allow further healing while at home between visits through specific exercises and stretching. I give Living Well Physical Therapy five plus stars with all my conviction.

Dr. Z was super awesome – my back periodically goes out and each time it happens he gets me back on my feet in days, NOT weeks! Super friendly staff, really clean office, and always a pleasure to visit. Cannot recommend Living Well Physical Therapy enough.

Dr. Laura has been absolutely amazing. She has really helped me over the past two months recover from my auto accident. I also think B, the massage therapist, is incredible! She is so delightful to be around and has worked miracles on my whip lashed neck. I also find the front desk reception (Coleen) to be awesome. She is always on point with scheduling and is just overall amazing! Love this place and highly recommend.

This place is the shiznit! Yoga plus reiki is so relaxing I feel better for days afterward, and I have a tense back so I know. Nowhere else compares. Bre is so knowledgable I just know I’m in good hands. Plus, I made it to Valhalla level two. Literally the best place in town!!

I’ve suffered with back issues since I was in my late teens. Now at 62 I can look back at many different PT places and none of them did anything to even slow the degeneration that I experienced. Hands-on physical therapy and therapists Liz and Stephan have helped me more in two months than anyone else has ever done. Finally, I feel that just maybe surgery is not definitely in my future.

My daughter has scoliosis and we chose Hands on Physical Therapy because they are trained in the schroth method. The physical therapists are very knowledgeable and thorough with their treatment. Jen has been working with my daughter exclusively and has been amazing. We are very pleased with Hands on Physical Therapy and would recommend!
