Relaxing experience very calming wonderful session. Teaira is a brilliant professional practitioner of her craft and has created a positive zen vibe that puts you in a tranquil peaceful state of relaxation

I absolutely love Teaira! I have had several Reiki Therapists in the past. They were all good, but none of them used their intuition and spiritual connections to give me a message. I enjoyed our conversation and used her salt cave to meditate after my session. I will definitely go back.

Does the shop offer any sound healing sessions with singing bowls or chakra tuning forks along side and/or separate with Reiki Sessions?
Hi there! I use to Tingsha bells and occasionally a singing bowl at the end of my sessions. But I don’t necessarily do ‘sound healing’ You’re not the first to ask about it! I really haven’t found anyone in the area! I know Sol Salt Cave… more

First of all I want to thank Shanette B for setting up this event for us, this indeed was one of my best events yet!!!My Yelp friends and I visited this charming shop for a amazing introduction to the world of homeopathic remedies. Our group was very small and intimate which made it more personal. We received a stone and meditation during our event! The owner Kelly is very knowledgeable and super, she was willing to answer any questions you may have. Knowledge is only Powerful, if you use it! I didn’t know what to expect, but this event came thru on all levels. I soaked in all the info that I could in our time frame that was allowed. Kelly has a FB page with all the events that she will be hosting, I will most def be attending more in the future. I left this place with a sense of clarity and a new respect for inner peace and protection for myself and my space. She gave us the tools to at least get started. I purchased some smudge spray and incense. Such a warm and welcoming environment for all.Tip: Stop in, you wont regret it!!

I must say my mine was kind of closed at 1st but once i went here it was so much knowledge here about your mind, body, and spirit It takes alot to realize that many things here on our planet can help us so much The spices and candles along with other item in this place are really worth the visit. Ill be back very soon to discuss somethings i need help with.

Just a little disclaimer about my review, I participated in an UYE (unofficial Yelp event) at this business. Which is to say that I had the opportunity to get an intimate look at what Kelly, the owner, has to offer with Peaceful Warrior Apothecary. Location: Look for a small log cabin tucked away, between a church and restaurant. Plug in the address to google maps and it takes you right there, even if it can’t decide whether it’s Augusta or Martinez (ha, ha).Ambience: The building is very unique…I mean it’s a log cabin! As soon as you open the door you’re greeted with an amazing earthy, woodsy aroma. I think the “energy” of the building will be unique to each person’s experience, it really depends on how open-minded you are. I say, indulge yourself…listen to your intuition…let the warm environment envelop you and entice your curiosity! My Take: I’ve always been intrigued by energy and the power that we have within ourselves to address our mental and physical health while recognizing we often need help to guide us on that journey. Needless to say, Kelly has that gift and you can experience it just by walking through the Apothecary. She’s generous with her time and she’s great at sharing her knowledge…don’t get her started on mushrooms-the legal kind (but seriously do because there are so many health benefits)! Goods: (This is not meant to be an extensive list…do yourself a favor and GO!) Singing bowls, herbs, teas, crystals, jewelry, salves, candles, incense.

My journey here began with a desire to make a change, a big change! I had decided, after much research and contemplation, that I needed to minimize (not eliminate) the amount of coffee I drink and replace it with Matcha tea. This was to decrease my consumption of caffeine without sacrificing a source of energy and introduce a mindful act (the process of making Matcha tea) into my routine. Well let me give you a heads up, finding the whisk for this process can only be found (to my knowledge and half a day of searching) in one location. That’s right, Peaceful Warrior Apothecary. I was caught off guard as they have moved since I stopped in about a year and a half earlier. They are now on BelAir Road on the right hand side, if you’re coming from I-75. Same friendly faces and same high quality products. I will mention that they have Matcha and other teas available for purchase, though I only came for the whisk. I have been using the whisk almost daily for two months now and love it. Be sure to stop in soon and see the eclectic offerings they have.

First off, I was pretty excited for this UYE(unofficial Yelp event). If you don’t know what a UYE is, it is an event hosted by a follower Yelp not an employee of Yelp, such as a Community Manager or a Community Ambassador. Shanette B. set this whole event up being she had recently located this shop on Yelp and gained knowledge from Kelly, the owner of this shop. Shanette thought it would be a great idea to get her fellow CSRA Yelpers together and experience everything Kelly had to offer in her establishment. I was familiar with some things in the shop, but not in the depth as Kelly showed and explained. The place was not hard to find since I attend Bible study at the church behind the business. If you don’t want to park in front of the building, the church is fine with you parking in the lot behind this business, which I parked in. This business is nestled into a log cabin in the middle of a hectic metropolitan area of Columbia County. I guess the energy of this place really calms everything around you once you enter, because once I entered it; it was like the whole outside world disappeared and there was a force field of positive energy shielding any of the external going-ons. I was introduced to so many things that still boggles my mind. My favorite being the singing bowl which Kelly played with a wooden mallet wrapped with suede. It gave off a soothing melody sort of like a gong but not as loud. Like when you were a kid and you would blow into a empty glass bottle. Kelly also mentioned that the smaller the bowl the higher pitch of the sound it emits. Kelly also talked about tingsha bells, which are like singing bowls because they emit sound too but they look like tiny cymbals held together by a string. Kelly also talked about tinctures, herbal teas, salves, and homeopathic remedy to help with symptoms of almost any affliction or disease. All of which she sells in her shop. I have to make a trip back to the shop to buy some of the teas and tinctures for my household. There were also smell goods such as essential oils and incenses as well. I didn’t get to smell any of the incense because I’m not a big fan of incense because I usually forget they are burning and will end up homeless due to a fire!!! Kelly also sell crystals and healing stones, which she handpicked one for each Yelper at this event. She picked these by our name and birthdates, which were given prior to arriving, that was the only information she had about each person. I was so interesting learning about each stone and their purpose. After each stone was distributed we went into a 15 minute meditation which cleansed each of the main chakras in our bodies. It was so relaxing, I almost cried how peaceful and calm I felt afterwards. I don’t knowthat feeling sweep over my body, but it did. I’m not a emotional person at all, so that kind of surprised me!!! I was also able to get one on one time with Kelly to ask her a few questions of my own. She answered them perfectly and I was honored she took the time to do so. She has tons of knowledge to back up all that her business stands for. After I left this event, I googled information about all Kelly talked about, I bought books, I read existing articles, and I even mediated again with my stone again, which was Rose Quartz. It’s associated with the heart chakra and represents love, emotions, and self-esteem. This event opened my eyes up to a whole new world and I think I will dive head first into this wonderful world of healing!!!! Kelly is an amazing business owner and person. It would be amazing for her to be your friend or family member she could bring so much completion and serenity into your life!!!!

In this ever-changing, fast-paced rollercoaster, some might call life, it is few and far between that one might find, not only peace, but the ability to feel resonance and stillness in one moment. Some might find this therapeutic while others surprised! Everyone’s journey is different but this is what Peaceful Warrior Apothecary shares with those who enter the quaint log cabin. They offer a variety of herbs which you can use in shakes, teas or with meals; in addition, to those hard to find items that are usually more expensive elsewhere. For instance, on this trip I was able to get some Goji Berries for a decent price and previousIy I purchased enough rosemary to last me for a month with the price being less than what I would have paid at the supermarkets. I usually go into detail..detail..detail, but for this, I recommend you experience this with your own senses. I will say, definitely pick up some of the incense!!! They are not the generic ones that are produced and just dipped in whatever flavor is popular. I put it to my unscientific test by smelling each of the scents offered to smell if the scents commingled and they all passed, all individualized scents. I do recommend using coffee beans in between each test less sensory overload might ensue. On another note, the incenses burn clean with little ash left behind.
Shanette B. rated 5 stars on 5/17/2018
Absolutely loved this charming and adorable shop. When you walk inside it’s a nice energy that instantly surrounds you and attaches to you. There’s a warm an inviting smell, but that could be from all of the sensual items within the shop or just from the owner’s Smudge Spray (that can be purchased in store for about $10).Kelly the owner is extremely sweet and amazing, she has an outgoing personality and a positive energy that surrounds her. I must have asked about 40 million questions and she politely answered each and everyone as well as breaking things down for me so that I could completely understand it all. From herbal teas to sage sticks, and crystals to essential oils, Kelly knows her stuff and provides it in this cute shop. Definitely go check her out.

My father in law had a stroke on Christmas and lives down in Baxley, Ga but was transferred to Savannah and then ultimately here to Augusta Hills for rehab. I was really nervous because you always hear the worst of the worst for places like this. As soon as I got there I was greeted by the night nurse James. As I told him how nervous I was and had concerns because of things I heard he quickly eased my mind with his kindness and understanding. That night as we were getting my father in law settled we had the privilege of meeting the most wonderful woman, who I believe, is an angel in disguise! Willene! This woman is remarkable! She always made my father in law feel special and cared for! Not to mention, how she made my whole family feel! They truly don’t get any better than this woman! She was one of so very many that made the stay at Augusta Hills the best I could have hoped for. We were ready to have him transferred when we got there simply based on what we heard and I’m so thankful we didn’t! The entire staff and team at Augusta Hills went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed for my father in law. From the gentleman who vacuumed the floors and all the way to the administration, we were treated with kindness, warmth and dare I say, love! I’m grateful for the time my father in law was at Augusta Hills and I would recommend this place to anybody! To all those that made his transition so wonderful, thank you from the bottom of my heart!

1 star was selected for Pruitt Health Augusta Hill location because there is not an option to give 0 stars. The facility is located at 2122 Cumming Rd, Augusta Ga. I checked several online reviews prior to sending my loved one to this location, however they were not accurate. This facility was Recommended by a local hospital but Pruitt Health facilities in Augusta Ga are not Joint Commission accredited. I carefully inspected my loved ones skin prior to hospital discharge/upon admission to Pruitt Health- Augusta Hills. It was free of discoloration and wounds. Each call/meeting with interdisciplinary staff was always positive. They informed me of her going the extra mile with physical therapy and nutrition, which indicated that she was making fast progress. Within one week my loved on had Stage 2 pressure ulcers (3) on both heels and butt. Family had to discover wounds themselves when my aunt complained of nagging pains that she says she alerted the staff of days prior. She also reported having very high blood sugars and receiving regular diet foods packed with unhealthy carbs that should have been diabetic. In efforts to regulate her blood sugars she declined the deserts/carb heavy foods and only ate her meats and low carb veggies. We were not notified of this by medical staff. Her Butt wound had almost completely healed and was covered in a dry feces covered bandage when we discovered it, so only God knows how long it’d been present. Both heel wounds were the size of tennis balls and showed signs of infection. When staff was notified about my discovering the wounds, most of them became rude and defensive. They then changed their stories stating she barely moved, wasn’t eating well, and was non compliant with patient education. But what they didn’t know is I’m a Registered Nurse. When a high risk patient does not move themselves or is non-compliant with education, it is your job to ensure their safety with use of preventive measures. She is elderly, mentally impaired and diabetic with cardiac issues. She should have been turned every 2hrs, pressure dressings and boots should have been applied BEFORE skin breakdown occurred, a nutritious diet should have been provided, and family should have been notified. Then they began to attempt to push her out of the facility by stating that her insurance would probably not cover her to stay more days for the wounds to heal. After contacting corporate, the staff began to change wound dressings, utilize proper precautions to prevent any other complications, and schedule necessary wound consultations. They offered to extend her stay, she was turned every 2-3hrs, she magically got an appointment with the wound center, etc. The admissions department called to have her admissions documentation completed for her original admission date, which should’ve been completed within 24hrs of admission. I had to get her out of that place. My aunt said she feared for her safety. So I asked if I could send a private sitter. The Ambassador (Thad) informed me that all sitters must have a PPD placed and obtain a background check. That didn’t sound right. So I decided to send family members to sit with her 24/7, that was an issue too. The nurse Darlene was very rude and unprofessional. Front desk and ancillary staff kept asking each of them if they were hired sitters, giving them the third degree. Nurse Darlene asked my sister to leave by 11p although this does not follow federal guidelines for nursing home facilities. I called Darlene and refused to answer the phone to talk to me, sending an unprofessional message stating “you can call and talk to whoever you have sitting in the room”. The following day, I notified the staff to get my aunt ready for a girls day out and I took her to the ER. I received a call 3hrs later from Pruitt stating nobody knew where my aunt was, however I notified at least 5 staff members that we were leaving the premises. I called back to notify staff that she would not be returning because she had been admitted to the hospital for wound infection. No one has called to check on her or apologize for this unnecessary, negligent injury and behavior. I would not advise anyone to use this facility for rehabilitation or long term nursing services. I would not send my dead dog to this facility. It should be shut down immediately!
Bev R. rated 2 stars on 3/5/2017
Not impressed. No phones in the resident rooms. That’s basic in most residential & nursing homes. I was recommended to take my father to Pruitt for rehab care. Will be moving him to Wesley Woods Rhodes in Atlanta as soon as I can. I don’t have time or space for all my concerns.

I have been here as patient and referred several friends. They are AWESOME and really care for their clients. They truly treat you like family. It is both a casual and professional environment where you feel comfortable with the staff working with you. I mean physical therapy can be very awkward with the hands on treatment but they know how to make you feel comfortable. They have some cool new treatments too so be sure to ask about their laser therapy 🙂

They make assumptions about people, and dont realize people have lives outside of the office that may affect there appearance or attitude. They are rude.
